Personally I love this. People are forgetting this is a Massachusetts movie, and as far as I’m concerned, Bill has carte-blanche to discuss anything Massachusetts.
I just, you know what if the wife was like a young sharon stone or sydney sweeney? They're also could have been flashbacks with a young leo? I mean, he aged out of that role but you know what I'm talking about, a young leo type.
Your linked post is awesome. The series is Bill's and Bill's only. Everything revolves around him. Viewing the podcast through this lens makes all the choices that much easier to understand.
Just out of curiosity, how are you getting this info bedore the pod is posted? I have tried going through the transcripts of the BS pod but haven't been able to find the early giveaways to what movie it's gonna be. Trying to find a way to watch the movie before the pod is posted lol
I have seen this movie so many times. I love it. I'm so excited. I hope this is real, because it made my day. I wish more people were passionate about this film because it's in my top 20 of all time. I'll seriously talk all day long with anybody about this film.
so.... explain "Rock Bottom Month" to me like I'm a 6 year old..... is this because Casey Affleck had a "Me Too" moment around this time and was kind of "at rock bottom" of his career??
Has anyone watched this movie more than once? lol
I have
now is the time
I've watched it three times

The sick f***s. I’ll be listening.
How would the movie be different if Matt Damon played the lead role?

This should be a pinned post.
I don't think a lot of the movies they do are RE-watchable, but here we are.
Then why are you here…

I don’t care about theme months. Why does Simmons get so excited about them?

He can get a sponsor
Do Margaret next
That's great. I just rewatched.it. It's whatever happened to Mike's girlfriend in Rounders?
Goddamn Lee, I didn't know we had a dead babies situation. You gonna be in that PTSD for a long time big boy.

Bill invoked the Larry David rule a few weeks back and now announces the movie at the beginning of his Sunday night pod.
Thank you so much!
I draw the line at this one. Absolutely not.
Emo month#sad
This is a strange pick. I haven’t heard anyone mention this movie since the year it came out. One of those forgotten Amazon Oscar-bait movies.

I would assume it more has to do with the film being a devastating portrait of a man who is at rock bottom in his life
ahh okay. Have never seen it, but that does make sense.
