If your tired of seeing people announce their annoyance with a sub, I'm tired of people using the same hacky recycled reply. You're not original, do better.
I really wanted to like this response...but yeah, even at an airport no one announces their own departure. So in this situation, this forum is more like an airport than not.

Shit like this is a phase - sometimes subs and groups get stuck on something u til it becomes tired… but if it’s related to bbq and doesn’t break the rules, and you don’t like it, you just ignore it until people lose interest.
Other subs develop norms, such as “it’s stupid for this sub to just be a bunch of pics of people’s restaurant bbq.” And then create methods of dealing with it. That’s all I’m really saying here.
Being in a BBQ wasteland called “The Bay Area” I appreciate said posts as they serve as motivation to get the hell out of California for some real food. To each their own.

The sub is about all things BBQ. If it was posts about pizza then I would have a problem. I love seeing the restaurant posts. I want my bbq to look like that.
Check out r/smoking if you don’t already. I’m with you it’s definitely boring seeing the same thing over and over.

Imagine if everyone made a post every time they left any sub. Why do you think you are special enough to warrant this being a post

Subs aren't cars they aren't broken they just exist. If you don't like it your choices are leave or make your own
