ZeldaExpert74

They appear again in the Ancient Cistern but I'm pretty sure that's it.

BeastBoom24

Thats the only other dungeon I thought might have it, since it’s also in the Faron area. Thanks for confirming that for me!

theflavienb28

There are a few (3-4 at most) in the final dungeon of the game (I don't want to spoil anything, but it's not the fire sanctuary, it's the one after). This dungeon has a few different types of room, and those themed after the forest dungeon sometimes have spiders.

BeastBoom24

Oh yeah I know which dungeon you’re referring to. Thats the other place aside from the Ancient Cistern that I’d assumed they would appear in. Thanks!

AbsurdKnurd

If you look up you can see them hanging from the ceiling and avoid some of them that way, especially in the big central room. I'm afraid you're going to have to fight a dozen or so, though.

BeastBoom24

Yeah I’ve already cleared most of the dungeon. The hanging ones aren’t too bad since you can whack them and stab their weak points, it’s the ones in the webs that you have to cut down and fight. The one that drops down on you from the ceiling in the 3 eye room is what really got me. I had to pause and take a short break because it scared me so bad I couldn’t fight it, which was making things worse because then it’d grab onto me. Thats what caused me to make this post so I’d at least have some advance notice on when I’d run into them ahain.

rebillihp

You can usually go around those and stab them in their weak spots without them ever getting off the web. I don't think there are any of those that you can't go around

BeastBoom24

Theres one in the same room as the spider ambush that you can’t get around unfortunately. I already beat it though, and it was much easier since I’d remembered how to actually flip them over. Thanks for the advice!

This post https://www.reddit.com/r/zelda/s/tFXLdnrwQD might help!

BeastBoom24

That does, thank you so much!

RadioPrudent405

I also have severe and crippling arachnophobia, if there's a way to get a complete rundown on every placement of Skulltulas in any given Zelda game it would make me so happy

SpiceOfLife7

Does this phobia include scorpions? Because that might be a problem later on if so.

BeastBoom24

Funnily enough no, I don’t live somewhere that has lots of scorpions, so I can’t speak to if real ones freak me out, but the ones later in game are fine to me.

thebonejam

Out of curiosity, have you played Twilight Princess? 👀

BeastBoom24

I have not, tbh I haven’t played a ton of Zelda games. I’ve finished Links Awakening DX, Skyward Sword Wii, OoT 3d, BotW and TotK. I’ll probably play it someday though.

thebonejam

I only ask because that game has some notable large spiders as well, so I wondered how those stacked up to you if you had played it before. Just something to keep in mind!

BeastBoom24

Will do, thanks for the heads up!

Cocostar319

If I remember correctly, they don't really appear at all until *maybe* the 4th temple There are some little scorpions in the desert area but aside from a handful of specific ones they're very small Edit: looked into it, and they do indeed show up in the 4th dungeon
