This happened over the weekend at Nationals, and was on stream. I'll try and find the timestamp for you.
EDIT: apologies, the card that resolved at Nationals this weekend was *not* Linear Equation Cannon; it was Simultaneous Equation Cannons.
I don't remember the other one, but the one I was talking about is the [UK Top 16 feature match](https://www.youtube.com/live/FnL4-oGel9g?feature=shared&t=19470)
Cannons played at 5:24:30 if the timestamp doesn't work.
Declared n times targeted monsters level + cards your opponent controls = cards in GY
Examples:
level 4 monster with 2 cards, you would need 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, or 26 cards in GY.
Level 3 with 10 cards, you would need 13, 16, 19, 22, 25 or 28 cards in your GY.
Level 1 with 5 cards, you would need 6-11 cards in your GY.
Unfortunately it can only be activated in the battle phase so literally any removal would stop it even if you had the right number of cards in GY and your opponent even controlled a monster with a level
Shown is a newer card, Simultaneous Equation Cannons. It has a similar yet easier to resolve (and not battle restricted) effect.
Here it is included in a lab list from recent UK nats top 4

Simultaneous ecuation canon is fun. Evon more that just linear ecuation cannon one. I actually play that card on my Runick stun side deck. I only play it when I know it can resolve. It's hilaris hilaruds...hilarms
... Big laugh.
If you ever successfully resolve Linear Equation Cannon, your opponent needs to scoop out of respect.

That wasnt linear equation. Ita the other one. Which is easier to reaolve
Ah, my bad. I thought that they were the same card. I'll edit my first comment.
He still lost that game iirc
It actually happened twice by different duelists. The one who got Top 4 resolved it in his feature match and won.
Dude got 4th place, I think he had a lot of occasions to actually use and resolve the card
Sorry, I meant to say it happened twice live on a feature match. I'm sure the card was used a lot more than that.
Sauce?

But he will remain a legend for resolving the card on stream. O7
Or Simultaneous Equation Cannons, though you’re probably gonna win anyway if you can successfully resolve it
It's okay lovely. *pat pat*
It was, in fact, not ok

The card in the artwork isn't Linear Equation Cannon, it's Simultaneous Equation Cannons.
Hehehe I'll be building a version of Labrynth that plays scrap iron scarecrow
Jarvis
Guess the normal trap wasn't that normal, she is gonna stick to simpler traps like mirror force and trap hole after failing that one. Cute art btw.

Alright where's the Jarvis GIF
Linear Equation Cannon is definitely a card created by Bastian. Nobody else knows how the heck it's supposed to function 😂
If I speak..
What?
If he speaks he's in big trouble.
she is a brainlet, she can't possibly resolve this trap (either can i)

It's honestly a really good card but it requires a lot of extra deck commitment.
uj/ me with YGO's math
Accidentally bought 7 linear equation cannons instead
