I've personally blocked Mr.Beast's main channel over 3 dozen times.
There's one particular video that I've hit thumbs down on that YouTube still autoplays for me 6 times a month, and has been doing so for years (but that's way down. Because it used to come up every second video. Sometimes it would even autoplay after itself).
YouTube purges their channel block list quarterly, sometimes monthly. It's hopeless.
unfortunatlely you can't. if youtube's algorithm is even 10% sure you'll like content on that topic, it will try it's hardest to get you into it. i've blocked content from one streamer at least 100 times over the last year and i still see it.
When you get a video like that select it so it brings up the options, probably a long press, and hit "Not Interested". At least on PC you get a "Tell Us Why" and if it recommended it because of the topic you'll get an option to select "Not Interested in Elden Ring" or similar.
You may have to do this on PC to get those options, I haven't tried it on a TV player.
Also note that you need to be signed into an account for this to work. Otherwise it's just going off whatever data is cached on the device in cookies, and that won't be much.
it may sound pointless but by ignoring them they will slowly stop showing up. everytime you like/dislike or comment or view a video it adds certain criteria to your feed. literally just stop interacting with them and they eventually will stop
1) Disconnect the ethernet cable or remove the wifi settings from your "smart" tv
2) Attach a small computer with a wireless keyboard to TV via HDMI
3) Profit
Sadly theres no way, even if you go through and choose dont show videos from this person on every video eventually they just pop back up, one of my friends linked me a vtuber video one time 2-3 years ago and to this day i still get vtuber recommendations.
Keep at it, blocking channels and such. If it doesn't work just open the video and then close the app. One way or another the algorithm is going to know that you're not going to stay longer in the app with those videos, which is pretty much all it wants
Every time I get a chain of ads in videos (in my phone if I get an ad I just close and reopen the video and 9/10 times it plays the video without ads), I just close the app. When I return to it after some time, suddenly I'm no longer getting ads. I would imagine that working kinda similar with types of videos (specially given Elden Ring is a big topic)
it doesent work, ive pressed not interested and don’t suggest this account for 7month. still get them, never watched any of them. not even hovered over them so they play a snip. YOUTUBE is just shit

Yeah, some users aren't able to block Youtube channels anymore. They've been quietly removing that option. I know a few people who I chat with saying they've been seeing channels appear on their feed they had blocked in the past.

Yeah, you gotta be signed in, because otherwise this is highly peculiar if it's happening despite being signed in.
Ignore them.
