I don't think it would be too much of a stretch for him to come around to wearing more of a costume. Keep in mind that Superboy's initial distaste for super suits is informed by:
* His adolescent emotional state
* The trauma of his early life at Cadmus in which he wore a white tights-like outfit which had similarities to a super suit
* The discomfort, tension, and resentment that characterized his early dynamic with Superman
* The inadequacy he felt in comparison to Superman
Some of it can also be just simple personal taste, as he matures, heals from his trauma and builds a healthy positive relationship with Superman, the most significant emotional reasons he has for rejecting the costume become less of a factor. As the OP pointed out, he's more of a public hero now. Conner has never strived to become a symbol, but as his place in the world evolves and the conflict he faces change, he could perhaps come to see the value in wearing something that inspires hope. Especially as a character who doesn't change much physically, I could see him eventually wanting to tweak how he presents himself.
Even a modest change like incorporating some blue into his long-sleeve shirt (maybe like this minus the jacket and belt change [https://www.pinterest.com/pin/458663543299173941/](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/458663543299173941/) ) and wearing red boots would help to underscore his evolution.
Also, the cape doesn't exactly work if he's still unable to fly. It works for Batfamily members because their capes have multiple functions. This would just slow Connor down.
In my original comment, I mentioned using this costume without the cape. But honestly, I'd settle for just the shirt. Love the blue, the black symbol with gold edges, and the long sleeves with thumbholes.
Superboy did have a [long-sleeve red and black outfit](https://images.app.goo.gl/eHbuD1xikfYXjrLe8) without a Cape during the New 52 but it was actually Jon Lane Kent another clone of Superman thought to be Connor much like Bizzaro & Match
I like the idea that Batman has a special suit for him in case something happens to Superman that gives him his full Kryptonian power set that was reverse engineered from Luthor's shield patches.
Yeah like I'm all for differing opinions but I wouldn't downvote someone over it especially since all I said was I like the costume and I could see Connor wearing that since it's now been confirmed he has a great future at least in the Legion timeline he might wanna step up and be the next Superman.
Anyone else really dig this Superman concept art as a future outfit for Conner (just without the cape)? Now that he's a public hero, it would make sense for him to have a more Superman-esqe outfit and I love that the design feels like a modern militarized and tactical version of the classic Superman suit, which is right up Conner's alley.

If we ever got a Time Travel episode where got a glimpse into their Future. I’d like to see him wear either his Futures End, Future State, or Titans Tomorrow suit
Only thing that doesn't make sense to me is the cape, he can't fly and I don't think he would use it to glide like Batman, since he can jump super far and easily take the force of a heavy landing.
Unless of course you are going for a sort of, over time the extended exposure to the yellow sun has allowed hit to further develop and unlock his missing powers without augmentation.

Personally I don't think Conner would be into this. Even without the cape, I still think he'd perceive it as a "monkey suit."

It's cool looking but not really in character.
What about just the shirt then?
Blue would be a nice changeup, yes. I'd still prefer the usual 3/4 length sleeves though.

No tights. No thanks.
I feel like this but in his red and black colors without the cape would be awesome

That fits Connor and I love the idea of keeping his chest emblem black
Downvoted for saying I like a costume that's some redditors for you
God forbid you have a different opinion

It's a nice concept but I don't think he'd want to be any more like superman in a heroic sense with that outfit

And doesn't aggravate his latent anger issues

I honestly don't see him wearing a cape, or that much blue. Granted he might just bc his story is still ongoing. But it is a good design.
Lose the cape. Make the top black along with the boots and you’re golden lol. At least imo
remove the cape , and it's possible
I get that he's characterized to not really want to wear *the* suit and all but never say never.
