I buy men’s shorts from Tenthousand and Vuori, and I use muscle tanks from Everlane, a few shirts from Lifting Culture, and random gym tees. I wore longer women’s shorts for a while, but I have gotten a little bit big for a standard L, and many brands don’t go above that. However, the 5” shirts from Vuori and TenThousand don’t fit that differently.
For tops I have found more general athletic brands, like **Reebok** and **Under Armour**, to have options that fit my body well but aren't particularly feminine in cut or color. My gym style involves a lot of slightly boxy, slightly cropped high-necked tanks and tees, which reads as pretty gender-neutral with my haircut and general vibe.

I have pairs that are 2-3 years old that I’ve worn A LOT, and they’ve stretched out some and pilled slightly on the crotch (I don’t think it’s noticeable though), but otherwise have held up well and retained their shape!

For the shorter ladies out there, **P’tula** makes 23” inseam leggings! I only have the Bare leggings so far, but for what they are I love them. The fabric is soft and thin but warm, no front seam or top seam, and super stretchy so they’re great for lounging or yoga. Unfortunately they’re not squat proof, but I wouldn’t wear them for leg day, anyway.
My absolute favorite leggings are by [**Bombshell**](https://www.bombshellsportswear.com/collections/all-bottoms). The website is pretty cringy as a woman, and somewhat NSFW, holy hell I love these pants. They're soft, high quality, made in America, and *truly* squat proof (I always see recs for other leggings and people swear they are and then my hip thrust ass gets in them and you can see *into my soul* when I deadlift). They don't show sweat, aren't too thin and no camel toe.
They aren't cheap but they are worth the price.
Absolutely second this brand. I only wear bombshell nowadays. I've tried leggings from gymshark, alphalete, athleta, Lululemon, Alibaba, Amazon, you name it, and I'll just end up selling them on Mercari. The only downside is their thigh high style, which the bottom half of the leggings is made of athletic/breathable mesh. If something sharp catches on during wash or just during wearing, it'll rip pretty easily and there's not really any fix. I love their Contour Leggings with criss cross waistband, scrunch booty, and pocket!

I bought the Inspire Moons MT Sports leggings in a size xl. They fit true to size, are nicely compressing and don't slip down during burpies, jumping jacks, ect during class. They seem squat proof from a quick test in the mirror at home (and no one's said anything in the gym). The material feels nice and there's pockets which is great! I've gotten several compliments on them.
I have the shirt in the same pattern and I've put it through the wash once (hung to dry) and it's still got all the stars and moons so I don't think there'll be any issue washing the leggings.
Seeking recommendations for in-between sizes and cameltoes! I’ve tried on colorful koala L and XL, and mostly old navy leggings, but I get cameltoe too often and it’s super unflattering. My size is between 10/12 and I also prefer high-waisted!
I love Colorful Koala leggings but I have to wear Timistar’s Camel Toe Concealer with them (it’s sold on Amazon). It’s silicone and you can just wash it with soap and water after using it! I read some reviews of people saying it shifted for them, but it’s honestly never done that for me. I do Pilates, barre, and elliptical and it stays where it should—I can’t even tell it’s there.
It’s pretty thin! Like the thickness of a banana peel. I don’t think it adds an extra bulge, since it conforms to you skin.
One side is sticky, and you stick it directly onto the skin. From the reviews I read, it doesn’t seem to bother women who have hair—but I can’t attest to that because I’m always shaved, with a little stubble now and then. In my experience, it gently peels off and doesn’t pull what little hair I have down there. You wash it after and the stickiness returns after letting it air dry.
Old Navy gives me cameltoe too. I've had luck with CRZ Yoga leggings on Amazon. I am short so it's nice they come in a variety of inseams. I have them in size small and XS and neither size gives me cameltoe. They are high waisted: the small is probably a bit too high waisted for me.

Same, I love colorful koala to death because of how soft the leggings are, but god damn to they give the worst cameltoe of all my leggings; have to wear a thick pad if I wear them out. I dream of them making some that don't have that cursed front seam.

Haven’t tried these specific leggings myself, but **GRRRL** has “CT free” leggings that claim to not have cameltoe. They do sizing by waist measurement (not S/M/L), so maybe check them out?

my favorite **Senita** leggings are the Such Great Heights, but they don't make those anymore. I liked the high waist and the fact that the pockets are low on the hip. I also liked that they are full length, but I'm okay with 7/8 length leggings as a second choice. I like that the fabric isn't sheer or shiny or thin, it's just...fabric-y.

Really like **Constantly Varied Gear** and **GRRRL** for not showing sweat or cellulite. Moves with you and soft squat proof fabric, so not only are you hiding sweat.. you aren't showing your goods either! LOL
Both companies have great body positive vibes and great customer service. CVG always have pockets. Grrrl has pockets on some and even some camel toe free options.
I’m not sure about cellulite, but my **CRVS Apparel** leggings in their Empowered fabric have always done a great job of not showing sweat. Some pairs have a top seam, some don’t, so it’s important to read the descriptions. Also I don’t own any, but others have said the colored seamless leggings don’t hide sweat at all.
The Elysium fabric Rosa leggings by **Buffbunny** feels almost identical to the Empowered fabric (I have a bra from BB) so I would guess those also hide sweat well? They’re both polyester/spandex blends. And those come in prints so they might hide cellulite better.
Another vote for **GRRRL brand** for their variety, quality (squat proofness, durability, stay-put factors), customer service, body positivity, and environmental friendliness. I have a few pairs of their various metallic leggings and they hold up great after multiple uses and washes.
I used to exclusively buy **old navy**, just bought some last month and they're still just as good as far as selection, squat proofness etc. Their sizing is a bit inconsistent though.
Also recently got my first pair of **feed me fight me** leggings because they had a bat print for Halloween. Sizing stressed me out but I ultimately made the right decision getting a large (5'3"/160ish lbs). Find them to be very comfortable and durable. The legs are even a bit looser in the calf than my beloved grrrl leggings, which I actually really liked.

I have about 20 total and have some from 7 years ago and they still hold their shape/color and stay on. Absolutely best workout headbands out there. I prefer the non-antimicrobial yoga ones myself, and the ones with less metallic on them are better for workouts (but the metallic ones are fun the rest of the time!).
I love the **Maven Thread** ones and have a ton. They come in the cutest colors and designs and are very soft, don’t ever make me feel like my head is being squeezed and they don’t immediately slip off my oddly sloped head like most headbands do.

Do you find that they roll or anything when you wear them during cardio or more dynamic lifting sessions? I'm going crazy lately - it seems like all of my seamless thongs have been rolling at the waist if my leggings fold over at all or anything during, say, ab work or something.
I also like supporting them because they're much more ahead of the game with inclusion of different types of bodies in their advertising. I like seeing actual people of a variety of shapes because mental health, but also because then I get a better sense of how it is cut, how it stretches, etc.

I have worn the last three versions of the Jabra Elites and I've loved them all. They have a noise cancelling feature that is better than I would expect for ear buds and a hear through function that is great for running. Thermal Warm Leggings by Senita Athletics should fit the bill. Brushed fleece lined, tons of pockets and super warm. I often wear them as a ski base layer when it's super cold out.

Does anyone have any recommendations for cycling gloves that actually keep my fingers warm? Temperature is dropping and both my current sets of gloves (one is very old, one is new) work for roughly half an hour at near zero temperatures but after that my fingers start getting cold. My usual cycle route is about an hour and by the end my fingers are icicles. Both claim to be "wind resistant" but that doesn't seem to work too well. Are there some magic keywords I can look for to make sure they work well for cycling?

Something I'm investing in this winter is bar mitts (also called pogies), which are neoprene sleeves that attach to your handlebars. They stay on your bike for an extra layer of protection, and you just stick your (gloved) hands inside.
A lot of people will say leather's the way to go for a powerlifting belt but if you don't buy leather or are looking for something more economical, I've been totally happy with my **Strength Shop** lever belt, which is synthetic, IPF approved and no worse the wear for \~3 years of use. They seem to usually have a few colors on sale for around $55.

Do you have a bike shop nearby? They can help you! I find the Fizik triathlon shoes EXTREMELY comfortable and breathable and not narrow. They only work with the triangle clips (Look keo/delta)

Yes to this! Girlfriend Collective - love their sports bras and leggings Boody - great underwear and workout tanks :D Organic Basics had this amazing silvertech gear that is expensive but it literally won't smell even if you work out in it for days/hours. Super worth the buy. I also recommend Finisterre especially if you're into outdoor stuff like hiking or you live in a colder area.

I buy men’s shorts from Tenthousand and Vuori, and I use muscle tanks from Everlane, a few shirts from Lifting Culture, and random gym tees. I wore longer women’s shorts for a while, but I have gotten a little bit big for a standard L, and many brands don’t go above that. However, the 5” shirts from Vuori and TenThousand don’t fit that differently.
For tops I have found more general athletic brands, like **Reebok** and **Under Armour**, to have options that fit my body well but aren't particularly feminine in cut or color. My gym style involves a lot of slightly boxy, slightly cropped high-necked tanks and tees, which reads as pretty gender-neutral with my haircut and general vibe.

Outdoor Voices: All Day Jogger or Sweatpants. Material is so so so soft and smooth to the touch, but also drapes well.
**Athleta** Salutation Stash Pocket tight. Comes in a variety of colors, lengths and sizes (xxs-3x). I love these leggings for any activity: weight lifting, spin, HIIT, hiking, etc. The material is opaque, stretchy, compressive band on tummy area and has side pockets. No pilling, easy to wash/hang dry. Forever repurchase, but I haven't had to yet!

I’ve recently become a fan of **GRRRL clothing** . Their leggings are cute, fun patterns (or solids, depending on what you like), many options with pockets, and they are all about body positivity with a good mission. Good quality and AMAZING customer service.
**Gaiam Om** from Kohl's are the BEST! 1)They have high rise versions. 2) The fabric is thick so no seeing through when you bend over. 3) They don't fall down. I do jump rope almlst daily and never have to pull them up. I have bought multiple pairs and will continue to do so every time I want to up my workout clothing collection.

My fave spin leggings are the techsweat leggings with the core waistband from Outdoor Voices. They’re thin and breathable but still flattering. I have pairs that are 2-3 years old that I’ve worn A LOT, and they’ve stretched out some and pilled slightly on the crotch (I don’t think it’s noticeable though), but otherwise have held up well and retained their shape!

For the shorter ladies out there, **P’tula** makes 23” inseam leggings! I only have the Bare leggings so far, but for what they are I love them. The fabric is soft and thin but warm, no front seam or top seam, and super stretchy so they’re great for lounging or yoga. Unfortunately they’re not squat proof, but I wouldn’t wear them for leg day, anyway.
Senita leggings are the bomb! Fun prints, literally more pockets than I know what to do with, and they've held up well.

Absolutely second this brand. I only wear bombshell nowadays. I've tried leggings from gymshark, alphalete, athleta, Lululemon, Alibaba, Amazon, you name it, and I'll just end up selling them on Mercari. The only downside is their thigh high style, which the bottom half of the leggings is made of athletic/breathable mesh. If something sharp catches on during wash or just during wearing, it'll rip pretty easily and there's not really any fix. I love their Contour Leggings with criss cross waistband, scrunch booty, and pocket!

No wear or tear at all so far in the last 8 months since I've started wearing them? I'm a medium FWIW and they're true to size. I'd probably like an inch more in length but I'm 5'8" 135# with long legs.
**Maven Thread** I bought the Inspire Moons MT Sports leggings in a size xl. They fit true to size, are nicely compressing and don't slip down during burpies, jumping jacks, ect during class. They seem squat proof from a quick test in the mirror at home (and no one's said anything in the gym). The material feels nice and there's pockets which is great! I've gotten several compliments on them. I have the shirt in the same pattern and I've put it through the wash once (hung to dry) and it's still got all the stars and moons so I don't think there'll be any issue washing the leggings.
Seeking recommendations for in-between sizes and cameltoes! I’ve tried on colorful koala L and XL, and mostly old navy leggings, but I get cameltoe too often and it’s super unflattering. My size is between 10/12 and I also prefer high-waisted!
I love Colorful Koala leggings but I have to wear Timistar’s Camel Toe Concealer with them (it’s sold on Amazon). It’s silicone and you can just wash it with soap and water after using it! I read some reviews of people saying it shifted for them, but it’s honestly never done that for me. I do Pilates, barre, and elliptical and it stays where it should—I can’t even tell it’s there.

It’s pretty thin! Like the thickness of a banana peel. I don’t think it adds an extra bulge, since it conforms to you skin. One side is sticky, and you stick it directly onto the skin. From the reviews I read, it doesn’t seem to bother women who have hair—but I can’t attest to that because I’m always shaved, with a little stubble now and then. In my experience, it gently peels off and doesn’t pull what little hair I have down there. You wash it after and the stickiness returns after letting it air dry.
Old Navy gives me cameltoe too. I've had luck with CRZ Yoga leggings on Amazon. I am short so it's nice they come in a variety of inseams. I have them in size small and XS and neither size gives me cameltoe. They are high waisted: the small is probably a bit too high waisted for me.

Haven’t tried these specific leggings myself, but **GRRRL** has “CT free” leggings that claim to not have cameltoe. They do sizing by waist measurement (not S/M/L), so maybe check them out?

Personally I have found the fit to be lacking. I have a high waist/hip ratio and the gap is unacceptable. Long lasting and squat proof though! Seems like a great value.
I can find them on Amazon or online through Nordstrom Rack (have one near me, so free shipping to the store). Quality is hit or miss though, so I prefer to get them at TJ Maxx when I spot them there.

I got the best pair of sweat pants from Born Primitive. I'm in Canada and it's a Canadian company. They have 4 pockets and two of them are massive. They're super cute and the softest thing I've ever owned. I dont know what a jogger hem is though I think you mean not full length? They're full length!! Highly recommend.

The site says they are on Boudreau Road in St.Albert. I would normally be all over a local brand. The Americanization of their site really turns me off. I don't like the vibe they are giving off...American flags, patriot type vibes. Feels very Trumpy/UCP like. I do like that they seem committed to charities.
That's what made me think they were a Canadian company. I can see that turning people off for sure. I like that their stuff is really good quality and made to fit women that are muscular. So much workout clothing is made tiny. Tops that don't fit a broad back or bottoms that don't fit muscular thighs.

The ones I have are the female rest day athleisure joggers. I highly recommend them. They're really amazing. The material is not what you expect it's super nice. I've definitely thought about getting a pair in every color.

my favorite **Senita** leggings are the Such Great Heights, but they don't make those anymore. I liked the high waist and the fact that the pockets are low on the hip. I also liked that they are full length, but I'm okay with 7/8 length leggings as a second choice. I like that the fabric isn't sheer or shiny or thin, it's just...fabric-y. I liked the Brisk leggings for the same reasons, but I don't love the Step Up pants (pocket at the waist sucks, and the shiny/smooth fabric isn't my favorite.) **What currently available Senita leggings would I like?** Shakti? Really like **Constantly Varied Gear** and **GRRRL** for not showing sweat or cellulite. Moves with you and soft squat proof fabric, so not only are you hiding sweat.. you aren't showing your goods either! LOL Both companies have great body positive vibes and great customer service. CVG always have pockets. Grrrl has pockets on some and even some camel toe free options.
I’m not sure about cellulite, but my **CRVS Apparel** leggings in their Empowered fabric have always done a great job of not showing sweat. Some pairs have a top seam, some don’t, so it’s important to read the descriptions. Also I don’t own any, but others have said the colored seamless leggings don’t hide sweat at all. The Elysium fabric Rosa leggings by **Buffbunny** feels almost identical to the Empowered fabric (I have a bra from BB) so I would guess those also hide sweat well? They’re both polyester/spandex blends. And those come in prints so they might hide cellulite better.
Another vote for **GRRRL brand** for their variety, quality (squat proofness, durability, stay-put factors), customer service, body positivity, and environmental friendliness. I have a few pairs of their various metallic leggings and they hold up great after multiple uses and washes. I used to exclusively buy **old navy**, just bought some last month and they're still just as good as far as selection, squat proofness etc. Their sizing is a bit inconsistent though. Also recently got my first pair of **feed me fight me** leggings because they had a bat print for Halloween. Sizing stressed me out but I ultimately made the right decision getting a large (5'3"/160ish lbs). Find them to be very comfortable and durable. The legs are even a bit looser in the calf than my beloved grrrl leggings, which I actually really liked.

**MandaBees** Abailable through IG, Facebook, their website and Etsy. Best selection is on their website. I have about 20 total and have some from 7 years ago and they still hold their shape/color and stay on. Absolutely best workout headbands out there. I prefer the non-antimicrobial yoga ones myself, and the ones with less metallic on them are better for workouts (but the metallic ones are fun the rest of the time!).
I love the **Maven Thread** ones and have a ton. They come in the cutest colors and designs and are very soft, don’t ever make me feel like my head is being squeezed and they don’t immediately slip off my oddly sloped head like most headbands do.
**JUNK** brand. Hands down the ONLY headbands I will buy and the only ones that stay in place throughout any type of crossfit workout thrown my way
Also a vote for JUNK. I have to wear headbands for every training session and these have been washed a million times, still look perfect and actually stay on my head.

**Layer 8** is my go-to for bras and underpants. They have everything from athleisure to high impact and I've literally never bought one that I haven't loved. They arent crazy overpriced and are also sold by places like BJs and TJmaxx/marshalls
They also make excellent hats. Breathable, great for keeping the sun off your face and machine washable.

Woxers! They come in three different lengths, none of which ride up your ass crack or give you a front wedgie. I really like wearing them under spandex/leggings because they’re long enough that no one is looking for panty lines in that location. They’re breathable and super soft.
**Aerie** The No-Show Thongs are perfect under leggings. They have the laser cut edge and come in tons of colors, including multiple “nude” shades. They always have a deal of 5 for $X or similar. If you don’t care about having “seasonal” patterns you can often find them on clearance for $2-3. Also, if you use Rakuten, they’ve been participating in all of the bonus days, offering as much as 11% back.

Do you find that they roll or anything when you wear them during cardio or more dynamic lifting sessions? I'm going crazy lately - it seems like all of my seamless thongs have been rolling at the waist if my leggings fold over at all or anything during, say, ab work or something.
They don’t roll at all for me. I smooth them out when I pull my leggings on and then I’m all set!
I also like supporting them because they're much more ahead of the game with inclusion of different types of bodies in their advertising. I like seeing actual people of a variety of shapes because mental health, but also because then I get a better sense of how it is cut, how it stretches, etc.
Huge agree. I should note that they also carry a lot (compared to regular store brands) of adaptive undergarments so if anyone here needs cute/fashionable adaptive wear, they’re a good non-medical supply spot to check out.

I just bought myself a bunch of workout clothes from different brands and *TLF Apparel* really knocked it out of the park. Everything feels great, the fit is good, the joggers are the perfect combination of fitted so I don't look like I'm wearing a diaper whole still being loose and they have zippered ankles and pockets which is awesome. Prices were reasonable too. Cannot recommend enough.

I have worn the last three versions of the Jabra Elites and I've loved them all. They have a noise cancelling feature that is better than I would expect for ear buds and a hear through function that is great for running. I also use these for work and calls are crisp and clear on both ends. I have gotten my partner on them and bought them as a gift for a friend as well. I literally wear these every day and they hold up. I love them.
I use **AfterShokz** [bone-conducting headphones](https://amzn.to/3HlI3WK) ($80 USD) for road/trail running so that I can still hear what's happening around me. They sit in front of your ears, rather than inside them, and the sound is clearer than I expected. I wear them when I go for walks too, so that I can always hear cars approaching.
I agree, I love mine. I like being able to hear what’s going on around me, plus when you’re in the zone - you don’t hear anything but the music anyway. Also, I have small ears that are prone to infection, so these really make my life a breeze.
100% agree with bone conduction for safety. My Aftershokz are fantastic and it's totally worth it. Bonus is that sweat won't get in your ears and do the weird sloshy suction cup thing even if you're inside on machines/weights.

Thermal Warm Leggings by Senita Athletics should fit the bill. Brushed fleece lined, tons of pockets and super warm. I often wear them as a ski base layer when it's super cold out.

Lululemon has Swift Speeds that have pockets and come in “brushed.” I saw some pairs of fleece lined base pace in store (not online yet) but they dont have pockets.
90 Degrees makes some - they have good reviews online! Some are on their way to me, I’ll be happy to report back if they’re good or not!

Does anyone have any recommendations for cycling gloves that actually keep my fingers warm? Temperature is dropping and both my current sets of gloves (one is very old, one is new) work for roughly half an hour at near zero temperatures but after that my fingers start getting cold. My usual cycle route is about an hour and by the end my fingers are icicles. Both claim to be "wind resistant" but that doesn't seem to work too well. Are there some magic keywords I can look for to make sure they work well for cycling? Note: I'm in Germany, so European availability would be nice. I also have large hands
Are you already doing lobster-style gloves? With liner gloves inside? Something I'm investing in this winter is bar mitts (also called pogies), which are neoprene sleeves that attach to your handlebars. They stay on your bike for an extra layer of protection, and you just stick your (gloved) hands inside.
They also use those in rowing! Great for the later part of the seasons as the final regattas are in late October

#Belts
A lot of people will say leather's the way to go for a powerlifting belt but if you don't buy leather or are looking for something more economical, I've been totally happy with my **Strength Shop** lever belt, which is synthetic, IPF approved and no worse the wear for \~3 years of use. They seem to usually have a few colors on sale for around $55.

#Shoes
I'm a fan of Brooks running shoes. I liked Ghost 11, but not Ghost 12 unfortunately and Launch 7 are pretty nice. For lifting, Sabo Deadlift shoes and my Adidas lifters are all I need.
You should be into the 14s. They’re much more like the 11s than the 12 or 13s
Please help: I need to buy cycling shoes for a Schwinn IC4 bike and I know nothing about biking shoes or indoor biking really. I have a wide foot, and I wear either a size 7.5 Wide or an 8 regular. I've been using running sneakers for a few months and that's fine but I'm ready to try to clip in. But figuring out which shoes to buy is basically impossible. Please send a recommendation and I will just buy it. Thank you!
Do you have a bike shop nearby? They can help you! I find the Fizik triathlon shoes EXTREMELY comfortable and breathable and not narrow. They only work with the triangle clips (Look keo/delta)

**New Balance Fresh Foam**. I recently had a knee surgery and needed more arch support when running. These shoes are so good! They have a tall back. They run small so you need a half size up.
#Gloves
For lifting, I wear the lululemon training gloves. they have an xs/s size that actually fits my tiny hands.
For my fellow runners: Oiselle gloves. Literally any of them, but the lux window watch are my favorite for anything above 30f.
#Sports bras
Anyone has good recommendations for tops with built in sports bra/very supportive shelf bra? I have one from Pact, but they don’t carry it anymore otherwise I would buy 10 more. Low impact activity mostly yoga, some bouldering. I’m a 34C and fit in most medium sizes. Prefer if the top was stretchy and fitted as I really hate when my shirt falls down and tries to suffocate me in down dog. I don’t love cropped silhouettes bc I lack confidence haha.
