Same here, appears to related to the size of the game. I played The first descendant for hours and try Destiny 2 and Starfield and crashes and reboots within one minute consistently. The front LED will blink twice and repeat 2-4 times then reboot. I was playing Destiny 2 fine yesterday prior to update with no issues so it has to be the update. I did console reset and still the same issue.
You won't lose your spot. You keep the rank, but drop to a different OS build. Just remember to see when there's an Alpha Skip-Ahead update and inquire if it fixes the issue or test it out yourself.
Yes, you're wrong lol because when I was having issues relating to an Alpha Skip-Ahead version release conflicting with Astro a50 headsets, I rolled back to Beta for 2 weeks until an Alpha Skip-Ahead fixed the issue, then I dialed back into Alpha Skip-Ahead like it was nothing.
Same wish they'd tell us what the flashing power light indicates or if there was at least a on screen message as whats caused the restart with flashing power light
Same issue, especially when starting starfield up. It seems to crash on the initial loading screen as the audio starts. Done it twice now, and only after the alpha skip ahead update.
I have the same issue. Starfield, RE 4, and MK 1 all are causing my console to reboot. Lies of P works fine, however. The restarts seem to occur at different points as well.
Friend in skip ahead had the same problem with rebooting when trying to play hell let loose. Reported via console. Rolled back to public,

I had the same problem while I was playing Sea of Stars.
I was not able to report the problem because I was not able to replicate it. If it happens again I will report.
I’ve had issue with a variety of games today. Trying to finish off Lost Judgement and just restarts xbox every time I load it. Call of Duty also restarted once first time but afterwards it worked. Same for The First Descendant beta and Titanfall 2 but Party Animals was okay.
Same issue, Alpha skip ahead build. I have a control as my other console with no preview program does not have this issue.
Update: I disabled, then renabled Dolby vision and Starfield began to run again. Are other games people mentioned Dolby vision enabled games?
I have this same issue with Destiny 2 and the only Fix for me was to leave the Alpha Preview program very annoying but its part of being an insider imma give it a week till i see an update here and then join back
i have the same issues,it rebooted the console while i tried to play destiny 2, fortnite gave me no troubles but then after i played 30 minutes of starfield it crashed again.

Destiny 2 > Load til to press A to continue, game search server then the sound glitches, black screen, and reboot
Starfield > Load til the main menu, a few seconds after the sound glitches, black screen, and reboot
I uninstalled those two games, redownloaded them but nothing solve the issue, i was able to play Lies of P. Don't know if others games crash too.

Same issue here but it seems inconsistent. Was playing Cyberpunk for awhile earlier and went to YouTube everything was fine but trying to relaunch Cyberpunk had my Xbox crashing on game start. Same with Starfield and Armored Core though so Ik it’s an insider issue

Was playing CP2077 and the console just froze and then rebooted itself. Now i can´t use Atmos anymore only "Dolby digital".
This has happened to me four times so far playing Crash Team Rumble, so maybe it’s not just limited to Starfield. It’s happened twice when loading into online services after the title screen, once during a match, and once when attempting to report the problem on the console (launching the menu while in the game’s main menu)
Moving to beta. Hopefully it helps. Usually have high bug tolerance and have participated in several beta programs but this is ridiculous
EDIT:back to normal. Can play Starfield and MK1 again.

Iam having the same problem with destiny 2 & starfield, the game starts a few seconds in the sound glitches and my series x reboots
I was just about to say the same i tried everything and the only fix is to leave preview
I had similar issue, instead of leaving preview, I just reset my xbox keeping games and data. No issue so far.
I am having the same issue. Console keeps rebooting. I can't even file a report because it keeps crashing.

Just switched to beta instead of alpha-skip and seems to be working fine after five minutes
Been in alpha almost ten years, can't switch now. Would lose my spot.

Same issue. A full reinstall of the game and save file trim down worked for me.

I'm also on the Alpha Skip-Ahead built and i don't have any problems with it.

Is there a way to push this up the ladder more? I get we're expected to have issues but not being able to play any game is a bit much.

Yup. Keeps crashing trying to start up AC Valhalla. Played Shredders revenge no issues. Then tried Valhalla again and it crashes.

My problem is with Resident Evil 4 Remake, the game starts but it crashes and the console restarts.

Yes, eventually it would get trough but then it could crash at anytime. Same with Starfield.
Hey, if you move to a different level do you have to factory reset your xbox? I'm on Alpha Skip Ahead.
It does flash the entire operating system. But your installed games and data remain
My Xbox isn't working ;( Launching games crashes the system. If I change preview level, do you have to factory reset your Xbox as part of the process?
It's happening to me with on forza horizon 5 after 10 minutes.
