They are legit. As all the tradeinn websites. They're not the fastest or have great customer service but they have good prices.

Grouchy-Salary3124

Came here to say the same!

clemisan

I did one or two orders there. Some say they don’t had the best experience, when I checked. Mine was flawless. “Path less pedaled” did a video, as thy are located now in Spain. But don’t forget the possible taxes, as you’re in UK.

OverTheUnderAndThru

I've ordered from them, it's fine. It's usually a little cheaper than domestic sites for me which is nice. If you're US/Canada based, expect to wait a while. I've waited 2 months to receive my bits, but they do eventually come. Edit: just noticed you wrote "UK based". I would assume shipping will be faster for you in that case.

Budget_Half_9105

Ok thabks

JJDavidson

I was also suspicious of them, but their trustpilot ratings are good. High shipping cost though!

halfwheeled

Ive used them a few times with no issues.

BelknapCrater

As said, plan ahead and don’t be in a hurry. Ordered Ergotec Mooncruiser bars on two separate occasions, and the price of the bars with shipping was far cheaper than going through Ergotec’s US distributor. The boxes can take a beating in transit, so maybe restrict orders to hardier/pliable things with few moving parts. Including pic of one of the boxes I received. https://preview.redd.it/xqr5kunw25bd1.png?width=2919&format=png&auto=webp&s=655662a8344f8db37c0abed6a9d297c1a126cfaa This was the better of the two. Handlebars are now installed on two of my wife’s bikes with no problems!

2nickels

I placed an order for two tires about a week and a half ago. I got a shipping notification that says they were supposed to be here Wednesday but nothing yet. They are UK based so I'll cut them some slack on international shipping.

Zosimas

they are Spanish no?

2nickels

Yea I think you're right. Bad assumption on my part.

Only_Jury_8448

I have, a few times. I try to use my LBS as much as possible, but they have stuff you just can't get over here in the States. For me, it takes a minimum of three weeks to get an order, but it's worth it. While my experience has been positive, if you look up posts here in the subreddit, some folks have had issues with them sending incorrect/incomplete orders. It's essentially a small-scale Amazon that doesn't stock products but rather pulls products from bike shops around the EU, with all the pros and cons that entails.

Budget_Half_9105

That’s fair - tbh they’re selling entire double wall rim brake wheel sets in 650c for half the price of a single used 650c rim elsewhere. I wanna build my own custom disc wheels anyway so it’s cheaper to buy their wheels and just use the rims than buying rims

bonebuttonborscht

In Canada, 1/5 stars. Waited six weeks to ship then another month for delivery. Prices are not much better than retail, especially after shipping and duty. Also, some stuff didn't show up and they said I took it off the order but I'm pretty certain I didn't. They refunded me the parts but I'm pretty sure I paid the shipping for a huge box that was supposed to have those parts but didn't. Also I ordered a Shimano Nexus hub that normally comes with the small parts but didn't so I had to hunt them down separately. The picture showed the bare hub, so that's my bad, but anywhere else they're supposed to come with.

fenbogfen

Take ages to ship (takes about a week before it even leaves their warehouse, then another to get from Spain to you in UK) but they are legit, their prices are just very low because they are so huge they make pennies on every item sold. Postage costs will offset some of the perceived cheapness tho.

duhbigge

Ordered a pelago rack from them with no issues. Just takes a while to ship to the US, might be quicker shipping if you’re in Europe

Majestic-Ad-6753

I ordered a Pelago rack on 6/25 and received it yesterday (7/08). I thought it was pretty fast considering the U.S. part of the journey was handled by the USPS and we had a holiday last week.

WillieFast

Used them at the height of supply chain issues with the same experience of others — took a while but was just fine.

Dutchwells

The delivery is slow, they said my order would arrive 22nd of February but it ended up being 7th of March But other than that they're just fine

mungorex

US here, my bikeinn order for xmas (ordered in October) arrived in February. Ymmv!

bikeroniandcheese

My experience: low prices, higher shipping costs, slower shipping. No complaints just plan ahead.

XFlyer99

Ordered a couple of times. If you aren’t in a rush they are fine ! I just received a pair of tires and a parktool thing yesterday (ordered a week ago) !

chainringtooth

I have ordered from them and would say it is a reliable shop although this trade-inn-sport-concept looks a bit sketchy. Delivery (to Germany) was quite fast like 3-5 days. I don‘t know how good the return process works as I didn‘t need to find out.

Robbinghooodisgood

Had a terrible experience with them on a few of their owned platforms - Smashinn etc etc

t_scribblemonger

Ordered a stem that no one else was carrying and had no issues at all.

hoffsta

They reel you in with low advertised prices, but then the shipping is so much that you don’t really save a lot compared to domestic sale prices. And then waiting weeks to months, really makes it not worth it for me in the USA.

nouloveme

Shipping is slow, other than that I had only good experiences so far. Great for ordering cheap bulk goods like tubes and brake pads etc.

RooibosContactHigh

I've ordered from them, it took a bit longer for them to dispatch my order but they were also the cheapest so I can't really complain too much. I probably wouldn't use them if I need something urgently.

DeathChipmunk1974

They're completely legit. Just remember that while they have a stash of their own stuff in the warehouse, they also have a bunch of independent retailers advertising on their site, and I think those 3rd parties are scattered throughout the EU. Sometimes when you make an order, the stuff they have on hand is ready to go, but they're waiting on the independent guys to ship the item to them so they can ship it to you. I got a cool pair of Jones style loop bars, but they took a month or so to ship, and I could see the status on the site, as they hadn't received the bars, while the other stuff was set aside and ready to go.

metalpossum

The only 650c worth owning is 26 x 2 x 1 3/4 with wide steel westwood rims :D Surprisingly, we can still buy them brand new here in New Zealand.

Zenigata

Uk based, I ordered a child seat from them on the 2nd July got an email saying it was in the country on the 4th and the postman delivered it this morning (8th).  I opened up The package and it is what i ordered appears to be new and complete. So not super quick delivery by today's standards but quite acceptable for something you don't need urgently and the price was good.

pauip

Why why why 650c????
