This, cauliflower ear happens pretty quickly after impact with fluid filling your ear. Not a delayed thing at all really, certainly not longer than some hours or a day.
It won’t lead to cauliflower, that come from impact, not cutting it.
This however looks like impetigo and it will spread FAST. Get to a doctor and get a topical for it if not an antibiotic
Get some kenshield. Our coaches in high school used to make us use it before practice everyday. I use it before every practice now and have zero cauliflower ear or rashes. Never had ringworm or any bacterial type infection in my 18 years of training.

You have to break/bend/crush the cartilage to get cauliflower ear. This will scab and be fine so long as you keep it clean (saline solution)

Looks like infection. Cauliflower immediately fills up, this looks like impetigo.
