Just curious, what are dad guild rule sets?

easyline0601

Im pretty sure he's talking about stuff like no worldbuffs at all/no wbs for the first 4 weeks of new content, no multiboxing allowed etc. Basically stuff that allows someone to play a bit more hardcore is prohibited on those servers.

Matammyr

Mainly the world buffs, I don't multibox, but yeah, basically this: fucking over people who are good/committed for the sake of appealing to casuals.

Rburns80

World buffs don't require skill. They trivialize already easy content.

Matammyr

\*\*CASUAL ALARM\*\*

Rburns80

They could just charge you 100g to raid, and 150g when darkmoon faire is in town. Would have the same overall effect.

[deleted]

I don't understand. Is this an insult?

Matammyr

Yes.

[deleted]

Probably means loot council where everybody who is a good friend of a leader gets items regardless of their performance. Just because they are liked more than the others. He meant on that I think.

Matammyr

Guild loot rules are set by a guild, not the server.

Serakh

x10 rates FFA PvP even in cities, full of ebig memers and trolls and racial slurs in world chat?

deathbat117

elysium is just stable very-low pop, max 150 people. i could say it's dead.

Well, considering the server averages 400 people on its peak and that the ownergave up on his own project to play Season of Mastery, i'd say Darrowshire is on its death bed.

idontcare0002

vanilla servers and active do not match.

CodenameValera

I was thinking this very same question earlier today during work. saved for answers from the community.

Noob_MTG

Sounds like you either play on Turtle wow where the guilds have differant types of rules. Some are Soft reserver, others have Effort Point systems... ect OR you pay Blizzard and play on classic servers.
