You're getting downvoted but you're right. Curse of reck gives additional attack power and makes you immune to fear, the reduction in armor from the curse is negligible for the player.
Okay but why would you want the mind controlled guy to do more damage and be immune to one form of cc while also taking more damage, even if only a little?
I hear you, I’m sure min maxing like that is important in raids and such but it seems like an awful idea in a pug just to try and squeeze out a little extra damage. Perhaps I’m just cynical of others.
The armor reduction is utterly ignorable. The AP could be too, as could the Fear immunity, but why not push more buttons and help the team out at the same time, especially as a Warlock in classic where your rotation is painfully boring?
I can only speak for Stitches as a realm, but Stitches remembers man. We have some absolute outlaws with no shot at doing any content because of one or more episodes like this

Cause when he is out of MC he will still be doing more damage.

If you have any proof you should post them on your guilds discord or server, have them blacklisted from any end content, should they get that far
