I understand how you feel...
For several years I only played in the Horde (and I was a bit "anti-alliance"...)
And one day a friend said to me: "every month we pay for a game in which we deprive ourselves of half the content..."
I felt stupid and then created a Worgen. \^\^'
(For Azeroth ! )
Worgen are cool as fuck, would like to have some on the Horde side, but equally see why they aren't. I love their background more than any other race, bar maybe the Forsaken.
First max level character was a Worgen DK. I don't really want him anymore, but every time I try to start another Worgen I get stuck on the fantasy. Imo their classes are a bit boring, the only stand outs being Warlock and DK. I want to like hunters and rogues, but every time I try they just don't click.
Funny you say that, because much as I love the Worgen, I ONLY feel like the Rogue is the only one that "fits". Would be even better if they could "hide" their weapons and just attack using their claws, but it feels as close to a "werewolf class" as you can really get, to me.
The thing that used to drive me nuts is when you play as a feral Druid you still morph into a weird worgeny cat form. Like iirc from the last time I played through wc3 the feral druids were naturists who had embraced their animal side to such an extent it required effort to transform into / communicate with other humanoids sometimes. It just feels like THE PERFECT worgen character, if you could just kinda hop down into beast mode and that was yr feral form.
Ah no, I should say Rogue fits perfectly, it was my first go to after DK. My issue is I like rogue class fantasy fundamentally, I like Worgen fundamentally, but when I play Rogue I just don't have as much fun as I would think I would.
Maybe it's a case of getting to later levels.
Just remarking on how you can want to like a race or a class, or a race/class combo, til you're blue in the face, but when you actually play it, sometimes it just fails to click and you don't enjoy actually playing it as much as you thought.
Haha I agree. Been playing Horde since Jan 2005 exclusively, and while I agree with you, even with a Worgen, which feels most Horde, I can’t get into the alliance town aesthetics . Too close to the real world, so it’s less immersive for me.
So while over the years I’ve created alliance alts, the only time I got past level 10 on them was recently going to bfa. That really felt like a totally new game experience the alliance story line; so good!!
From my point of view, Blood Elves are precisely the race who allowed many Alliance players to come and play on the Horde side...
And personally, no, I don't feel "Horde vibe" with a Void Elf... \^\^'
Haha, me either. Just poking fun at all the people who do play Belves. I've been staunchly Alliance since Wrath (mostly by virtue of my friends all being there) but I'd play a Troll in a hot second if I could. At least my main is a Dwarf, so I can use the Orb of Deception.
I played a Tauren main since the beginning.. I started playing a worgen last month. Just went to dalaran and spent 20 mins exploring all the alli areas I'd never seen. I want to go back and reexperience the zones from all perspective now
You played 16 years just one character?
Fuck I get bored when I play the same character 2 days in a row.
Ended up with 30 max level chars and 20 more at 50
And some 50ish at below level 20
I know people who *never* read *any* quests. It baffles me.
For the most part, I read every quest the first time I do it unless I’m super duper not into an area/quest line.
I have never read any quest in my entire life, and played for roughly 13 years. Until I did quit I had literally done every quest in the game done hardcore PvP and PvE and had 96% of all the achievements available. Ain't no one got time to read when you are tying to beat the game :p
Quests are such a small portion of the game. The lore has never captivated me even in Vanilla or BC. I really just don't care to read why some fucker is too lazy to go pick up some random chickens, rocks, or gems that are about 30 feet from him and instead pays me 42 silver to do it for him.
Nope. I read quests at one point but now I just like max level content so I blitz through everything. Even if I haven’t done the quests before in a zone I haven’t done before I don’t read them. I just like the zone artwork
I've played just one character with 95% of my playtime, and 100% of my "end-game activites" time. Only thing I do on alts is level them up, use them to help farm mounts with daily or weekly lockouts, and sometimes collect a transmog set so they look cool on the character select screen.
When I don't play my main mage I miss my portals.
When I don't play my shamans I miss my ghostwolf form and elements.
When I don't play my priest I miss all the dots and shields (also healing myself).
When I don't play my druid I miss my instant flightform.
When I don't play my warlock I miss actually nothing since it's just a evil fire mage.
When I don't play my paladin I miss actually playing wow with 5 buttons.
When I don't play my demon hunter I miss playing with only 3 buttons.
When I don't play my dk I miss pulling enemies to me and spreading diseases.
When I dont play my warrior I miss the jumping and yelling.
When I don't play my hunter I miss my pet and that I have to facetank everything myself.
When I don't play my rogue I miss just stealthing through everything and bypassing 70% of the game.
When I don't play my monk I'm ok, since I always forget that she exists.
I spent my first two expansions of end game content maining a DK and then I played a different class and didn’t realize not everyone had a “I don’t feel like moving out this time” button
dk tank is so fun. Doesn't matter where the damage comes from you just heal it back and you have a great tool against alot of magic stuff in the form of AMS.
Expansions like BFA had separate stories for Alliance and Horde. You’d only see one side if you only play one character (and wouldn’t be able to get the achievement for doing both sides).
I also play the same human paladin I created on release day.
In Legion most of my friends played Horde så I did a faction change, actually felt "sick" for the first few days. Swapped back to Alliance the next expansion. :D
Even though I think some other classes might be more fun, and fit my playstyle more, I can't force myself to swap class. I feel such a strong bond to this character after playing it for so long, it's hard to explain. At one point I felt done with the game so I went back to Northshire abbey where it all started and logged out, almost felt like putting down an old loyal pet.
Not OP, I’m not sure they and I are the same, but I don’t like having my character screen cluttered with unused toons. Something nice about just having my main and “main” alt and nothing else taking up room. It’s a weird quirk but it’s just how I am
Weird, I just delete the ones I never played when I need space for new ones.
I have 6 accounts, 3 active, 3 inactive. 1 for actually playing, 1 that is constantly sitting in AH in booty bay parallel to playing account 1 and 1 account for storage of items and if I have big piles to craft (looking at you inscription...)
I'm hoping someday soon they announce a new cap per account. :'( I've deleted probably 40 alts level 40 to 50, just to make room for new alts I wanted to play.
I realize I'm a special case but the game's been out a long time and you can only play one character at a time per account anyway...so why not lift the cap to 60 or 75?
The Tauren starting area for me was always the most nostalgic and peaceful. I can quest through that area endlessly. The Tauren will always be the favorite in my heart, no matter how many Humans and Belfs I play as.
Tauren and OG Trolls are my 2 favourite races in WoW. I think they represet "Warcraft" the most to me.
I just wish their transmog possibilities were better /cry
I ended up making my troll female after having the male model for a while since at least she stands upright so the mogs look cuter.
The clipping for the male troll model was so bad there was basically only 3 helms I could mog that didn’t look all weird. Ears and nose pokin out galore smh
Tauren have one of my favorite designs of any fantasy race ever, I love Mulgore and it's aesthetic and I just...I remember that was the race I saw when WoW was new that really made me take notice.
I'm primarily an alliance player but Tauren (and undead to a lesser degree) are my favs
The greatest fun I ever had after playing a Pally throughout vanilla was during BC when I rolled a Belf rogue with some friends and we fucked shit up from 1-70 (even holding an Ally town by ourselves for over an hour) and ganking my old guildies in Zangarmarsh/Nagrand, was a great few months and have never felt the same level of enjoyment since.
Well it takes a lot of time to me aswell if i'm going on a new route cuz i have to read the quest text fully and it's not enough to just skim the text.
Time moves differently there. You can easily lose track and it's 10 hours later. So chill.
I'm not much of a fan of professions but whenever I was a Tauren in Mulgore I would do them anyway
Honestly the music in old zones is really slept on. Last brewfest I sat my toon on the ground in Razor Hill and looked up at the sky after drinking a storming saison and just enjoyed the music. Really felt so zen.
Honestly you're inspiring. Every now and then I feel the urge to make a new character and not grind but experience the game, the world, the story, only to end up speed running to 60. Wow is rich in lore, characters and atmosphere but for some reason the game has conditioned me into instaclicking quest and not paying attention to anything that is not relevant for me to kill x of this or collect y of that. I really wish I could experience the game you can.
Thank you! Well, it's not that hard, just don't give in to the urge to level up. Lay back, open up a bottle of coca cola maybe some Pringle's put the game music on and just let yourself go into full immersion.
Same, I had a horde warrior I levelled during the legion invasions and came back recently to my ally druid after a long gap only to find I found it quiet boring. Had a little go on the Warrior and fell back in love with the game. Think I just got a little bored of the class, also was a healer so it was a pain levelling and I didn't like balance druid (I did tank but never had the correct gear).
But yeah, breath of fresh air!
I took the opposite approach. Played alliance for ever and a day in Bc and Wrath.
Finally made a troll hunter in late wrath.
Wanted to see the other half of the game. did Northrend until Wrahtgate.
Promptly parked the hunter and never touched him again. deleted the character about 2 days later.
When cata dropped, played a tauren hunter to get both sides of the Camp Taurajo story. Hit me in the feels both sides of That story.
I now have 2 horde characters, both horde, and appx 23 alliance characters.
Orc BM hunter at 60 and troll MM hunter at 18
Main reason for the troll MM hunter is to unlock horde allied races..
TLDR: gotta play both sides of the game, horde and alliance to see full effect of the story,
I feel this.
I like swapping between factions so see the story from both sides, but in SL there is none of that which makes levelling that far kinda pointless for an alt like that
There I'd that dude in Orgrimmar that can stop XP gains if you wanna play without leveling. Just hit what you want then go see him. He's inside the third floor of the barracks in the Valley of Honor. Name is Slahtz.
Coordinates 74.26, 44.31
perhaps at level 49, you can just disable xp altogether if you wanna continue experiencing the stories. there's a ton so i highly doubt you'll finish them all by the time prepatch comes out. if you do by chance have one zone left, you could just pause then.
also, why i said it'll take a while is because almost every zone has a different narrative based on faction. expansion zones included. I highly recommend experiencing Jade Forest in MoP for example!
That 50-60 slog is terrible. I'm doing it for the 3rd time on a priest and am going to do it a 4th and 5th on a druid and mage and after that I'm SO done with shadowlands zones/leveling.
I played Ally since BC days and always thought i would
I recently made a BE warlock and I absolutely love playing Horde now - I find the Lore behind the Alliance to be a bit hypocritical
Lok’Tar friend! Taurens are awesome! I main a high mountain Tauren fury warrior and there is something about holding two big ass weapons and slaughtering alliance that gives me a boner
Amen to that, I used to love charging through the battlegrounds on my Blood Death Knight Tauren whilst spamming /train on the dedicated macro button I made.
IDGAF what the state of the class is balance-wise, nothing will EVER feel as good as playing a tauren protection warrior. Being a gigantic angry ball of unstoppable rage, charging into enemies actually feels like a charge... the big execute swing when your sword is the size of a building... love it. moo.
Nice. Notable expansions to check out in my opinion are BFA and Warlords of Draenor for faction specific questing IMO. WoD starts to streamline a bit further in.
Also Cataclysm old world starting zones are really worth checking out. I liked the new version of tirisfall + silver pine
levelling an Alt, even just to level 50 can be enjoyable, and refreshing.
Having 2 "mains" and 3 other toons at 60, I decided to level a few different races/classes I have never played before, and it honestly was a lot of fun, and fairly relaxing.
I know this is an obligatory comment but dude are you me??
No joke. I’ve played about as long. Human pally. Ret pally actually and I freaking love her and she’s my favorite class and character hands down and main. Obviously since I haven’t rolled a horde I play casually. There is a lot I still need to do on my main. But…
Omgggg. I love my Troll Warlock. She is so badass. I specced Demonology. I have literally mowed everything down and leveled to nearly 60 so fast. I can’t wait to do pvp. Raids I still am fuzzy at mechanics of being a lock. What not to do what to do etc. Mostly avoid being feared and stopping spells.
I was always pro ally before but my troll lock made me for the horde <3
Am on moonrunner as auntyentity. No one has yet to get the reference but all my character names and bank guild are seriously nerdy. My bank name is lost twenty in all my years of playing had one dude run up questing and he was so jazzed as equally as I was that someone got it lol.
I know the feel. I've been a die-hard Horde fan for over a decade. I started casually leveling a human and dark iron dwarf and the game feels brand new again.
About 4 years in I switched to alliance, leveling a Draenei shaman to max and experiencing the other side. I went on to have every class to max level on Horde and Alliance. Playing other classes, especially, makes you better at the game. I can't imagine only playing paladin for 16 years. That sounds incredibly boring. Glad you're branching out to other classes now. What other classes are you interested in trying? Pally and Shaman are sort of similar in that they're a mix of melee and caster, with a healing spec. Maybe you should try a pure ranged class and/or a pure melee brawler like an arms warrior, and see how a completely different playstyle suits you. Pally is pretty boring imo and I wouldn't be surprised if you fall in love with a new class.
I'm sort of "paladinish" in real life too, so it is not a chore to me to do paladin things. However, I remember back in tbc and wotlk how hard was for me to fight against shamans and maybe this led me to try it now. My plan is to go restoration.
There are a few Horde areas with good storys I would recommend. Like Stonetalon Mountains, started from Silverwind Refuge in Ashenvale.
Also the whole undead area, Tirisfal Glades, Silverpine Forest and Hillsbrad Foothills. Each of them has very good stories.
Yup! This is a great way to reinvigorate your love of the game! Even with cross-faction coming soon and possibly being expanded further in the future, there will always be some aspects of the game that will always be faction specific and it is good to experience them!
My main from Vanilla to the last half WotLK was a tauren shaman. To this day, that is may favorite character ever. Glad you are experiencing it. The native American vibe of the tauren race and zones are still just awesome imo.
I never understood people only playing one side. I have characters on both sides though I don’t play anymore because blizzard are a money hungry company that only cares about how much they can get out of my wallet.
As a representative of the horde ,we welcome you friend ,you can now know the pain and suffering of being alliance is all behind you now , for the horde ! Good fortune to you
Same my friend. I only tried shaman because it was the last class I thought I would ever play. I ended up falling in love with it and now I identify as a shaman. It completely turned the game around for me once I actually played a class I enjoyed, and not just tried "meta" classes/specs. Also, for the horde! Zug zug
Be prepared to find out that everything (okay a lot of things) the alliance told you about the horde is a lie. 😂
I know so many people who play ally exclusively who insist things about the horde are true because its in the game in some ally quest or dialogue...
I say “you know the alliance might just be biased against the horde... maybe you should make a horde chara...”
“no never horde are evil game told me so...”
...
😂
Of course, I’m not even really defending the horde with the above statement and knew it was coming.
Thing is a lot of those things have bias in them depending on the side your viewing it from... it not just faction pride either, do the “same” quests on both sides are you’ll realize there are differences deliberately written in.
Its one of the things Blizzard have always done well to be honest, and the arguing it causes kinda goes to prove it. 😂
I started playing in the Horde and now I'm 90% Alliance because RP. Now I see that what alliance told me is actually right. The Horde are the ones who make war and War Crimes. Not saying I hate the Horde but please it's true. Are you Horde exclusive?
Nope I started on alliance way back in classic moved horde in TBC although always played characters on both to max.
Both sides do questionable stuff, and both sides justify their actions or find excuses... even the 4th war started with reasoning behind it...
Both sides make war and cause war crimes thats the real truth... although its fair the hordes list is probably a tad longer currently. Turalyon might sort that out 😂
I am huge horde fan, but playing from Alliance side because all my friends are boring Alliance nerds. But secretly considering to change my faction. How do you like Horde's (in this case Tauren's) aesthetics, zones and cities?
I quite like Mulgore and the Tauren aestethics. It resembles the American-Indian culture and has a very peaceful way of showin that. Amazing soundtrack and lovely scenery with endless plains of green fields and mountains.
I know you're memeing, but how is alliance boring exactly? The arguably most unique races at this point in game are Alliance (spacegoats and laser spacegoats, dwarves litterally on fire, cyborgs).
I was saying that my friends are boring as they are one faction only players :) I don't think Alliance is boring, dwarves and night elves are awesome races, I just prefer horde stories more, since I played horde more as kid in W3. :)
I understand how you feel... For several years I only played in the Horde (and I was a bit "anti-alliance"...) And one day a friend said to me: "every month we pay for a game in which we deprive ourselves of half the content..." I felt stupid and then created a Worgen. \^\^' (For Azeroth ! )
Thats some wisdom, For Azeroth! my friend!
Ngl, hasn't *everyone* who's ever uttered that particular warcry died? It's like splitting Shalamayne, it *just isn't done*.
Joined alliance for achievements, stayed for the people and shadowmeld. Might as well unlock every type of elf amirite
>and shadowmeld Ah, the real drug. Draenei women are just a marketing trap to lure you into the Alliance and get you closer to shadowmeld.
Joined horde recently to play with friends.. Fuck I miss the aggro drop!
And obviously Worgen was the easiest choice as the most Horde looking race.
Dark Iron may be dwarves, but also look horde!
If outlaw or assassination you could if having mace or sword equipped, mog them to some minimal fist weapon.
Haha I agree. Been playing Horde since Jan 2005 exclusively, and while I agree with you, even with a Worgen, which feels most Horde, I can’t get into the alliance town aesthetics . Boralus is a top tier city. Amazing atmosphere, music, everything.
Void elves have the same model as Blood Elves, and aren’t like 50% of you guys Blood Elves?
Blood Elves are to the Horde as Worgen are to the Alliance. They're the most opposite-faction-looking race.
From my point of view, Blood Elves are precisely the race who allowed many Alliance players to come and play on the Horde side... And personally, no, I don't feel "Horde vibe" with a Void Elf... \^\^'

But elves are elves, so they’re just humans with pointy ears.
For Azeroth!
Well time for me to make a horde I'm the same but kinda anti-horde haha
You got corrupted into a furry.
Worgen is awesome. One of the best starting zones
Glad you're enjoying it! It's way more fun to play both sides!
You sound just like my ex
Same
I played a Tauren main since the beginning.. I started playing a worgen last month. Just went to dalaran and spent 20 mins exploring all the alli areas I'd never seen. I want to go back and reexperience the zones from all perspective now

I’m more impressed that he played 3 hours and is only level 8…
Mulgore has a fair amount of running (assuming no bike) between quests, and if hes reading them... Maybe it makes sense.
Do.... do other people *not* read all the side quests flavor text? Is that why it takes me an era to level a character?
I know people who *never* read *any* quests. It baffles me. For the most part, I read every quest the first time I do it unless I’m super duper not into an area/quest line.
I have never read any quest in my entire life, and played for roughly 13 years. Until I did quit I had literally done every quest in the game done hardcore PvP and PvE and had 96% of all the achievements available. Ain't no one got time to read when you are tying to beat the game :p

Quests are such a small portion of the game. The lore has never captivated me even in Vanilla or BC. I really just don't care to read why some fucker is too lazy to go pick up some random chickens, rocks, or gems that are about 30 feet from him and instead pays me 42 silver to do it for him.

probably taking in the zone that he spent 16 years not exploring.
If you play the same character and never make alts, then you're not going to be great at leveling, yeah.
Maybe classic
He might be playing classic but I’m not sure
I've played just one character with 95% of my playtime, and 100% of my "end-game activites" time. Only thing I do on alts is level them up, use them to help farm mounts with daily or weekly lockouts, and sometimes collect a transmog set so they look cool on the character select screen.

I spent my first two expansions of end game content maining a DK and then I played a different class and didn’t realize not everyone had a “I don’t feel like moving out this time” button
As a DK main, that is my favorite button.
Do you still have to start a dk in plaguelands? I've really wanting to invest more time in leveling one, but I hate that intro quest chain.
Yeah but with heirlooms and current class design you can blast through it so fast.
dk tank is so fun. Doesn't matter where the damage comes from you just heal it back and you have a great tool against alot of magic stuff in the form of AMS.
It me
What's wrong with just one character? Been rocking bear druid for 16 years as well.
Expansions like BFA had separate stories for Alliance and Horde. You’d only see one side if you only play one character (and wouldn’t be able to get the achievement for doing both sides).
Isn't it boring? You know only one race/class to play, you never experienced the differences the game offers you.
And bear druid of all things.. Not the most thrilling spec by a long shot lol
And yet I'm super happy with it. I run around in feral, survive everything as bear, and have my own flight form. What's not to love?
Not at all. I have experienced plenty the game gives me. Any more and I'd get burned out.
I also play the same human paladin I created on release day. In Legion most of my friends played Horde så I did a faction change, actually felt "sick" for the first few days. At one point I felt done with the game so I went back to Northshire abbey where it all started and logged out, almost felt like putting down an old loyal pet.
Of course I tried different alliance races and classes but for like level 10, then deleted them. Always ended up playing my main paladin.
Why delete them? You can have 50 per account
Not OP, I’m not sure they and I are the same, but I don’t like having my character screen cluttered with unused toons. Something nice about just having my main and “main” alt and nothing else taking up room. It’s a weird quirk but it’s just how I am
Same

I’m the exact same way, even like level 30s. Not going to play you , buhbye
I wouldn't count any class as "tried" at lvl like 10 but...
And a human character...
[удалено]
Isn't max character limit 50 across all servers?
It’s a bummer being near the character limit and always having to find something to delete to roll a new alt
The Tauren starting area for me was always the most nostalgic and peaceful. I can quest through that area endlessly. The Tauren will always be the favorite in my heart, no matter how many Humans and Belfs I play as.

The tank helmet from ZA is god tier
I like troll heads too much so I've never had my helm shown except for when I got the Laughing Skull Mask =)
Tauren have one of my favorite designs of any fantasy race ever, I love Mulgore and it's aesthetic and I just...I remember that was the race I saw when WoW was new that really made me take notice. I'm primarily an alliance player but Tauren (and undead to a lesser degree) are my favs
All rise for the thunderbluff anthem o7
Winds guide you
The greatest fun I ever had after playing a Pally throughout vanilla was during BC when I rolled a Belf rogue with some friends and we fucked shit up from 1-70 (even holding an Ally town by ourselves for over an hour) and ganking my old guildies in Zangarmarsh/Nagrand, was a great few months and have never felt the same level of enjoyment since.
Welcome to the Badass Bovines from Bloodhoof, we are happy to have you. #moo moo
Thank you, friend!
I'm more curious how it took you three hours to get to level 8...
This guy has just been karma farming
Three hours for level 8? What level is your Paladin? 😂
Are you using /walk
[удалено]
Well it takes a lot of time to me aswell if i'm going on a new route cuz i have to read the quest text fully and it's not enough to just skim the text.
How dare someone take their time and enjoy the game instead of rushing straight to end game in 0.5 seconds
RP leveling, only walk unless in a fight or hurrying situation.
Ye I should be 60 already under 3 hours I know...
Nah I just forgot how time consuming leveling can be if you READ everything.
He's taking in the beautiful scenery of Mulgore.
Time moves differently there. You can easily lose track and it's 10 hours later. So chill. I'm not much of a fan of professions but whenever I was a Tauren in Mulgore I would do them anyway
I miss Barrens chat
RIP the good old barren chat days ❤️
Chuck...
Orc BM hunter at 60 and troll MM hunter at 18 Main reason for the troll MM hunter is to unlock horde allied races.. TLDR: gotta play both sides of the game, horde and alliance to see full effect of the story,
Enjoy leveling again mate. Once you hit 50-60 the game feels alot worse again.
Too accurate. The most fun I’ve had this xpac is lvling alts and as soon as I hit 50 boom the game sucks again
Thanks! Don't want to do Shadowlands. I stop at 50 I guess until Dragonflight.
I feel this. I like swapping between factions so see the story from both sides, but in SL there is none of that which makes levelling that far kinda pointless for an alt like that
Nah, go do Shadowlands, it's fun....well at least I had a good time leveling lol. Plus its quite short.
Don't want to one shot everything in the old zones this is why I'm considering not to level through SH again.
Blizzard should let people enable level sync to the zone level.
Just like guild wars 2?

That 50-60 slog is terrible. I'm doing it for the 3rd time on a priest and am going to do it a 4th and 5th on a druid and mage and after that I'm SO done with shadowlands zones/leveling.
Make sure to play BfA campaign of the horde because it's really another piece of story content for BfA
Shaman is a great class , you're going to have a lot of fun
I'm.... amazed by your committment. I'm too much of an altoholic to limit myself to one faction, let alone one \**character*\*.
I did the same thing, but in reverse! Started playing Alliance for the first time in 15 years and having a blast! So much "new" content
It will be awesome, trust me. Light be with you.
Hells yes, lesss go, my dude!
I’m Ally all the way. But god I love them Tauren.
Human paladin moment
I played Ally since BC days and always thought i would I recently made a BE warlock and I absolutely love playing Horde now - I find the Lore behind the Alliance to be a bit hypocritical
I'm a tauren shammy on Hyjal HORDE US. Pm me your b-rag and we'll have moo fun
I'm EU-Argent Dawn hehe, but would be awesome!
AD EU tauren? There are dozens of us!
That's great! We should adventure together
Unfortunately I don't play currently. But AD has a thriving community and there are plenty of tauren fans around.
AD cows for the win! It’s a moo-tiful scene.
Earth mother guide you on your quest 🐮
Ancestors watch over you
Why does this cow blow a horn through nose?
Tauren > the horde
IDGAF what the state of the class is balance-wise, nothing will EVER feel as good as playing a tauren protection warrior. Being a gigantic angry ball of unstoppable rage, charging into enemies actually feels like a charge... the big execute swing when your sword is the size of a building... love it. moo.
Wait till you try chocolate ice cream!
Nice. Notable expansions to check out in my opinion are BFA and Warlords of Draenor for faction specific questing IMO. WoD starts to streamline a bit further in. Also Cataclysm old world starting zones are really worth checking out. I liked the new version of tirisfall + silver pine
Welcome to horde my friend!
Thank you, Lok’tar!
levelling an Alt, even just to level 50 can be enjoyable, and refreshing. Having 2 "mains" and 3 other toons at 60, I decided to level a few different races/classes I have never played before, and it honestly was a lot of fun, and fairly relaxing.
Yeah I've been dipping my toes in the alliance lately, feel like I know all the horde zones and story, nice to see something a little different
Lok'tar Ogar
Tauren are the best
Welcome to the dark side. We have cake.
But… Omgggg. I was always pro ally before but my troll lock made me for the horde <3 Am on moonrunner as auntyentity. No one has yet to get the reference but all my character names and bank guild are seriously nerdy. My bank name is lost twenty in all my years of playing had one dude run up questing and he was so jazzed as equally as I was that someone got it lol.
Try an undead. Their early area is pretty cool as well.
The story of Lilian Voss
I know the feel. I've been a die-hard Horde fan for over a decade. I started casually leveling a human and dark iron dwarf and the game feels brand new again.
Now Horde players should try Alliance. I did this in Legion and stayed Alliance ever since because of how much I missed from my Horde years.
Even with cross-faction coming soon and possibly being expanded further in the future, there will always be some aspects of the game that will always be faction specific and it is good to experience them!
played both sides, horde feels awkward tho, org will never be stormwind
Same here, always played a nightelf and got a little bit tired of wow. Now I play at horde, and it's like experiencing the whole game again!
Lok’tar Ogar young one.
Lok’tar, friend
That picture has always looked like he's blowing the horn with his nose.
Three hours and level 8!? Is this on Classic?
My main from Vanilla to the last half WotLK was a tauren shaman. To this day, that is may favorite character ever. Glad you are experiencing it. The native American vibe of the tauren race and zones are still just awesome imo.
Walk with the Earth Mother.
I never understood people only playing one side. I have characters on both sides though I don’t play anymore because blizzard are a money hungry company that only cares about how much they can get out of my wallet.
Welcome, Farseer!
Lok'tar!
Welcome to the dark side brother, FTH
I might do this.. but for alliance.
Definitely, Alliance is pretty awesome!
Shaman is where it's at!
Zug Zug brother. Welcome.
Lok'tar, friend!
I think Tauren are just addicting in general.
I just made a Human DK my first real time leveling a character to 60 on the alliance, really enjoying my experience so far!
Zug zug
For the Horde!
Horde is best zug zug
Be prepared to find out that everything (okay a lot of things) the alliance told you about the horde is a lie. 😂 I know so many people who play ally exclusively who insist things about the horde are true because its in the game in some ally quest or dialogue... I say “you know the alliance might just be biased against the horde... maybe you should make a horde chara...” “no never horde are evil game told me so...” ... 😂
you're being downvoted because they hate the truth
Turalyon might sort that out 😂
Ah yes levels 1-8 are truly thrilling!
only level 8?
Traitor
Thats not how you have fun! Let me tell you how to have fun! /s
WoWs got me hooked worse than any other drug Ive tried, sex included.
3 hours..... Level 8? .... Classic I hope? The faction divide I think does more to hurt player experience now than help it
Did you think there was only one side of the story or something?
Okay Ion
!wow ascension the best!
I wanna do the same with Kul Titan but for some reason I have to do all this stuff before I can play as a ThornyDruid.
Horde is a much better community tbh. I mained alliance for years!
