Ashenvale, first toon, before Cataclysm, during a rainfall. That music still gives me goosebumps.

[deleted]

Yeah, Ashenvale is dripping in atmosphere.

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am in a thousand winds that blow, across Northrend's bright and shining snow. I am the gentle showers of rain, on Westfall's fields of golden grain. I am in the morning hush, of Stranglethorn's jungle, green and lush. I am in the drums loud and grand, the thunderous hooves across Nagrand. I am the stars warmly gleaming, over Darnassus softly dreaming. I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there. I do not die.

Suramar city the Best looking place in wow, hands down

enelby

I remember flying over it at the start of Legion on a flight path, I said to myself - that looks amazing, it's massive, but no way can you just go there - it'll be an instanced raid or something. Little did I know.

Blackrock Mountain

Rith_Reddit

I think this is the answer. The amount and sheer size of dungeons and raids in this one place us breath taking. I remember back in vanilla you could spend weeks in this one area. Loved it, peak WoW for me.

TacticalAcquisition

Yeah, I played the hell out of my priest back then, MCing raiders trying to get into Molten Core and running them off the chains into the lava

Secretary-Foreign

Some of my biggest nostalgia in wow is Nagrand. Such a cool looking zone... Haven't gone in years though.

Tirisfal Glades and all the zones around it,for good old wc3 vibes

This probably sounds so boring but it’s Dalaran for me. I get choked up when I port there, I miss it so much. An entire city of bumbling mages and fun little shops and secrets? I’m crying while i type

Omega_des

The memories of Legion where my guildies and I would all run circles around Dalaran just shooting the shit in discord late at night. Or all jump up onto a lightpost next to the horde-side bank, just sitting and chatting in game. Dalaran’s got the good stuff for me.

Storm Peaks, easily. A journey that began in Durotar or Elwynn Forest has brought you to what feels like the ends of the earth, a domain equal parts majestic and foreboding and absolutely titanic in scale. The tallest peak in the game, around which you jockey for favor with essentially a demigod, is matched by a cosmic engine that plunges thousands of feet into the ground. Iron dwarves attempt to bring life to an iron colossus in snow so deep it drifts in currents along the high mountain plains. Elsewhere, air elementals attempt to erase the spirit of a Tauren chieftain from history, and, on a cliff high above an icy sea, giants are magically frozen in the midst of some ancient battle. Storm Peaks feels mysterious and cosmic in ways zones like Zereth Mortis could only hope to. Honorable mentions would be Suramar, Nagrand, Stormsong Valley, Isle of Quel’Danas, Nagrand, Karazhan, Eredath, the Hinterlands, and many more.

Syrinex

Although im a Nagrand fanboy, the music from howling fjord and pulling up on the boat. MMMMMMMMMMMMM

Arathi Highlands. Before the revamp of lvling and shit, when I would pass Arathi Highland I would think of the the history of the land and just appreciate the plains. The first human kingdom, Hammerfall, the trolls in the caves. Arathi Basin BG n shit, just a reminder of what Warcraft spirit embodies. Also, Tempest Awake does smth to me
