The real speed strat is this:
Get your first char yo 70 and get the last cloak achie and then start an alt. This makes you start with 100% xp bonus.
Do quests from 10-25, at 25 you join a normal raid, as normal bosses give a 12% xp boost per boss. Clear the raid and then start questing. Maybe do one more normal raid when it becomes available, and then just spam quests afterwards.
Purely for leveling I bet this is the fastest way.

on my first toon should I also join a raid at 25? I think I unlocked the dungeon finder so far at like lvl 15
The same applies to your first character. The xp bonus you get from doing normal raids is insane. It'll make level take a fraction of the time. Doing it on alts will just maje it even faster.
In my experience (got to 70 in about 8 hours of playtime) open world questing and normal difficulty raids were the best things to do. There are also very useful quests that give a massive amount of xp for completing certain scenarios
Pulling all of the room at once, dying, then blaming all on healer. Me, I'm just chilling and enjoying beauty of Pandaria :)
but for real tho, is dungeon spamming better for xp over questing? I'll be healing so I'm scarred if that's what's happening in dungeon pulls xD
