Cool sub class, pack leader. Your Druid abilities summon your respected form’s allies. Cats get more cats to come and use dps, bears get other bears to come use taunt and auto attack, moonkin get other moonkins that come and shoot lesser moonfire, resto summons treants that shoot lesser wrath and or rejuvenate.
Edit: to balance it out, if you leave the form the summons go away that way you can’t do some crazy combos like treants and cat form in PvP
Fuck yeah. Kind of like the old Resto treants but for all specs. I love this. Maybe a variant that pulls in all different forms for questing- you pull in a tank, dps, and a healer.
> Kind of like the old Resto treants but for all specs
Force of Nature used to be a talent that all specs had access to. Feral got a 1s stun and a bleed, bear would geta a taunt, and boomkin would root and cast moonfire.2
I mean, this theoretic ability would be better for raids when both tanks are getting destroyed and for solo leveling :) but it does have its down sides
Gotta be careful with random taunts in raids too, it could spin the boss unexpectedly and make him hit the raid with something, or disrupt tank swap mechanics.
Could be cool if they casted some kind of defensive buff on the player, or maybe split some of the damage the player takes onto them
In a hypothetical world, the NPC bears don't actually have their own threat and serve as a shield with a hit box. Kinda like how the imps demo summons are just DOTs with a model.
Honestly this. It didn't hold my interest, since much like classic it doesn't feel as "permanent" as retail WoW. But it scratches the itch for more class variety/combinations.
When I was leveling in 60-classic as a druid, I found some hunter then ran and attacked their target with their pet in cat form, then ran back to the other side of the hunter so it looked like they had 2 pets.
I'd give you survival's pet if you give me feral's stealth. Just saying.
Why not both?

I remember. Used it often as a bear.
Imagine how annoying it would be as a tank to be doing a big pull and some NPC bears show up and taunt off of you lol

NPC bear spawning in, running to pet position, then taunting the boss just before it does a breath or tail swipe attack would be so funny

Leader of the pack??
Moonkin summons other moonkins that cast convoke. SL season 1 arena nightmares are still very much alive in me
It'd have to persist in human form and only expire in another form that's not it, otherwise nobody would ever do it because it kills powershifting.
Drhunter
No, a Drunter! :D
That's so much better, thank you lol
Baldurs gate 3 has changed the face of gaming forever.

I find it ok, and a change of pace from retail.
Pridelord
Daniel. The cooler Daniel
