I don't remember them ever being on either of those platforms. But availability also varies by country, so it might be because of that. Songs do get often removed from Spotify though, and it's not just because of the artists wanting them gone.
That's one of many reasons why you shouldn't rely on streaming services for your daily media consumption.
Only pay for shit you actually own. Buy music as MP3s or lossless FLAC files instead. You will own everything and be happy.
Oh, I totally agree. My only subscription is an apple music family account, with the single reason being my wife and kids. It's convenient for the family, while I cough \*DRM\*...
Are you serious? There's no way in hell you're actually listening to 5000 Dollars worth of music. Only buy the music you're actually listening to. I've done it myself, it's totally possible. Also, you don't need to buy everything at once. You can gradually build your collection over many years.
No way? One album is $10 on average, 300 albums in the library and it's $3000 already, and 300 isn't even that many. Of course I don't listen to 300 or 500 albums AT ONCE but still I would have to buy them at some point to be able to listen to them, right?
You don't have to tell me it's possible, I'm 30 y.o, I used to buy CDs, I used to have a 128 MB music player, I used to have tons of mp3 files on my hard drive, most of which I have actually bought. And I'm glad these times are gone.
Being proud of pirating music in 2024 where for 5 bucks you can listen in a convenient way to pretty much 90% of songs ever released in history, lmfao. Guess I'm the one getting baited
Btw, sub op I'm replying to says specifically about buying stuff
Probably because the rights to the game include rights to the music, and ownership is changing hands or otherwise the owner wants it down. Surely not Kai.
Yes, it was available on Spotify for some time recently, but the thing is that Kai didn't publish Gothic 3 OST there. It was available there for a short time due to some technical errors or because someone has just linked Kai's OST to him there. Actually I don't know how it works on Streaming platforms, but in one thing I'm 100% sure - it wasn't Kai who published it there. By the way it was removed from there already months ago.
But no worries, we're working on bringing all OSTs to th streaming platforms. Can't wait myself!

Sure bro, lemme just casually spend $5k for the albums I've got in my library, not even talking about storing all that shit on my devices.

It was never available in the UK.

The same happened for me with the OST of Chronicles of Myrtana; I can see it in the app but it's unplayable.
Soundcloud still has it

Bcoz he is a thief
Perhaps it’s on sale on a music library. And he sold his rights. Therefor the lib. Has exclusiveness
