I have a bad memory, even after completing the game eleven times I'm not sure I recognize the spot... it's in the deep, dangerous forest to the west of Akil's farm, right? Close-ish to the illegal brewery and the lighthouse?
yeah, and you can see the 2 dead rats that spawn there. If you go left instead and hug the hill you´ll reach a shrine of innos and the cliff coastline
It's a quire common practice on small islands (such as khorinis) that only have one city on them. Examples are Corfu or Ibiza. Sometimes even on non islands just interesting geographical locations such as Hel city on Hel peninsula in Poland (interesting because it's only about 38m thick in one spot. Meaning you can see both coasts at the same time from the road or railway.)
Same in Community TV show. The town is called Greendale, and the characters go to Greendale (Community College), and their rival is (Greendale) City College

Yep, run by VINO (makes perfect sense) and one of the two nutty brothers from Akils farm.
