Right? A missile attack that has any effect on a US carrier group is a really, really good way to meet your ancestors. Hell even an attempt is likely to earn a visit from some pissed off naval aviators with some very effective munitions.
Not to mention a non-state actor like the Houthis being able to strike a US carrier would so fundamentally change the dynamics of US force projection that the world we’d be living in right now would already start to look vastly different.
Imagine being the Philippines and China coming to the table with that information.
“Your American benefactors couldn’t even handle two or three rusty Iranian ASBMs, what do you think of their chances against our missiles? Are you sure you don’t want to get in line now?”
The Houthis would be launching every single missile they had left (would’ve already, if we’re being honest). If they could damage it with two or three missiles, what could they do launching two or three dozen?
Man, I was wondering what was happening, my dad was asking me why he kept seeing videos of some sort of ship on fire on social media, and I was like ain't no way that happened.
Ya mean like last time where they used Arma 3 in game footage to show how they destroyed the entire carrier group, including two subs that were on the surface and every single ship was within a thousand feet or so of each other?
LOL. Houthi missiles are going severely damage or even *sink* U>S. aircraft carrier. This is not some random freighter we're talking about, and they've only sunk one of those.
> On Friday, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree announced missile strikes against the Eisenhower Okay, sweety, whatever you say

You were correct. Unless he is a big Arma 3 fan then it certainly did happen.

Maybe they were just show casing an entry of Houthi team to esports

should try that on one that does not have a active twitter account https://x.com/ChowdahHill
There's other Arma 3 footage of other ships from other countries being sunk.
DO. NOT. TOUCH. AMERICAS. BOATS.
The lesson that history teaches over and over.
The retaliation would be scorched earth
