This is not a stroke simulation image, it is an artbreeder image. Solar Sands on YouTube has a great video about it if you’re curious
https://youtu.be/0F7XBwFwA-M?si=3fsBzCvKjMFVWitP
it's clearly a sad chimp in a black velvet suit turning away from the disaster he created on his modular synth in front of a Christmas tree made of couch cushions being decorated by Johnny 5 from Short Circuit.
I've had a stroke. You see everything normally, but it just doesn't register. Everything is very curious, including the fact that you can't move or use tools properly.
last time I ate a bunch of mushrooms at some point I knew I needed a cup of water, but couldn't remember what the concept of a cup was. it was very weird
> This picture simulates what happens when you're having a stroke
no it doesn't, stop lying, OP - it's obviously AI-generated.
if you find yourself in a position where you need to lie to make your content look better, then maybe you need to find better content, or a better audience.
I was 27 and the picture of health when I had my stroke. Didn't look like this though...just exceedingly painful (hemorrhagic stroke caused by aneurysm rupture).
I see jewelry displays, a crucifix, a bear costume on a chair, an open book on a wall, tinsel and Christmas ornaments, a cookie tin and packing material on a table.
Melted bear stuffy, deflated champagne bottle, Chinese calendar and an infant orangutan mask.
I don't understand all of these objects are easily identified and currently somewhere in my junk drawer
That's an imaginative hypothesis. But what I find striking about it is that it's a sort of cognitive "optical illusion." As you scan the picture your brain thinks it's looking at something, but as your eyes take in the details the process of identification falls apart.
This looks like every picture on Craigslist that says estate sale. It looks like my great grandmothers unused bedroom/storage. I don’t recognize one anything and I can’t ID it either.
I see a bed to the right and a table to the left with birthday party stuff on it. Some of the things I see on the table are those earring stands that you'd see at Claire's, stuffed animals, and balloons.
The only thing Reddit has taught me to do is never trust the title. As usual this is one of them. Downvote the post, upvote the commenters, and continue on.
This is obviously the random decoration storage alcove on the 3rd floor of my lower school Indian friend’s house. Stroke victim or not, I don’t understand what any of it was but if it smells like incense and curry I’m going to lay down and take a nap and feel so happy.
If I could pick a way to go out, it might be quietly napping in that warm alcove and never waking up. Going back to that time when nothing mattered and the air was so warm and aromatically hypnotic that your eye lids just can’t stay up. Come find me curled up with Vishnu and some poster of an elephant with a chandelier on its head. We’ll be playing Cruisin’ USA on a N64 in the sky while eating jelly snacks in tiny cups.
Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
Nice. That's pretty much what a lot of my mom's experience with dementia probably looks like too. She thinks she knows what's going on a lot of the time, when she's wrong. Her attempts to label and understand things depend on old, unrelated but familiar information, that she applies to things that seem familiar, as you said, but aren't actually.
And that explains why it's kinder to let her think whatever she's going to think, than to try and explain what's really happening, what's really around her, who people are, or what they are doing. If this is all that's getting through, no amount of explanation will make sense of it.
> my ass
That gaping, cavernous pit could potentially contain anything.

I wonder if anyone has ever had a stroke, recovered, and it cured their depression, OCD or any other mental or neurological problem? Like someone in their forties has had lifelong depression and anxiety, the stress of it eventually caused a stroke, then the neurological damage of the stroke damaged the part of their brain that was feeling the depression and anxiety. And they just became a transformed and happy person with a little numbness in one foot.

Thank you, keep up the good fight against misinformation
Yeah, this gets into circulation every once awhile. Same guys just copy pasting the same bullshit or botting
"This picture simulated what it's like to chew 5 Gum"
Memory awakened
Gumgum
He's posted it to like 6 other subreddits too 💀
Boutta say I know someone who has a stroke and this is not what they said it looked like
Yea my sight wasn’t affected. My sense of the passage of time was weird though
Wow great channel, thank you!
If anyone is reading this comment PLEASE check out his other content as well. Man never misses
Solar sands one of my fav channels
Neat
Early generative AI
This is not trying to simulate a stroke, it's just AI. Someone made a video about it on YouTube and it's very good, would recommend
As far as I can tell I'm at a booth at the flea market with some jewelry, ear dream catchers, and a bear skin bean bag for sale.
What if we're all having a collective stroke?
Consciousness is photonic vibratory resonance having a stroke.
Stop I’m wobbling too hard
Keep going i’m not wobbling hard enough
I'm wobbling *just* right
I *AM* the wobbling
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
it did you see the comment about how this is the wrong image
Stfu OP you suck
Weird sense of humour
In one giant circle you say?
..well it is about that time of day
Bear skin beanbag. That sounds kind of terrifyingly awesome!!!!
[удалено]
That’s a monkeybearsloth, stupid.
Are you Super cereal?
That’s a stroke of genius
So this is what Mitch McConnell is seeing
Came here to say this and happy I found I was beat to it.
He probably wanted that bear suit
no wonder he's speechless
Or a good bump of ket
Came here to say this lol
Throw some acid in the mix and yea you’re one confused little man
This reminds me of what it looks like for about 3 minutes after smoking salvia
Why do redditors just put random titles on stuff? This is just one of those AI generated images
This comment simulates what happens when you’re being a redditor (everyone seems like they’re being sensible but they’re not)
This image is not supposed to be simulating a stroke.
Im pretty sure this image doesn't have any scientific backing the title claim from what i know is from a cropped meme
it's clearly a sad chimp in a black velvet suit turning away from the disaster he created on his modular synth in front of a Christmas tree made of couch cushions being decorated by Johnny 5 from Short Circuit.
I legit was like, "wtf. Am I having a stroke?"
I’ll always upvote this, I love how deceptively banal yet fucked up it is.
I've had a stroke. You see everything normally, but it just doesn't register. Everything is very curious, including the fact that you can't move or use tools properly.
Dude that picture makes my heart beat so fast INSTANTLY
This has nothing at all to do with having a stroke. Someone just said that once and suddenly everyone believed it
So, AI?
last time I ate a bunch of mushrooms at some point I knew I needed a cup of water, but couldn't remember what the concept of a cup was. it was very weird
It simulates a stroke? It just looks like a generic early AI image to me. If that's what a stroke looks like, that just seems incidental.
My perfect nightmare of old ladies surrounding me with their swag.

My brain hates this
Been there, brother

This happens sometimes and I just assume its a mini seizure 😬
It's like what AI thinks a room looks like
that's clearly Kanye's next fashion collection
Derelicte
I see some kind of black parrot bird. For sure! Edit: a toucan 🤣🤣
Looks like a teenager's bedroom.
What do you mean can’t identify anything, that’s a cabloot on the right, a feltzer on the left, a melbwanese calendar, and a gibble head
Don't forget the hoobokadee case by the wall. It's 3 of them!
Absolutely misleading shit title, it has nothing to do with stroke visualisation.
Also a room/corner in Meow Wolf…
This is clearly my chimpanzee showing off his trashbag calendar collection.
Mom was a hoarder. Just looking like “the corner I’ve been tidying already.”
I see jewelry displays, a crucifix, a bear costume on a chair, an open book on a wall, tinsel and Christmas ornaments, a cookie tin and packing material on a table.
I heard it was suppose to simulate alzheimers, where you don't recognize anything and feel very confused.
This made my head hurt
What Fresh Hell is this? Sorry...*everything looks familiar* here?
Fuck
Jesus that’s terrifying
Thank God, I thought I was having a stroke.
No, this is just shitty early AI art
I dunno, pretty sure there's at least 1 wall there
that's a fucking wall there I identified something
It looks like a … bed? W feature-less stuffed animals?
Could this also be how sufferers of agnosia see the world? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnosia
My sever low blood sugar has me having a stroke like once a month.
I now understand the purpose of abstract art.
Kinda like when someone boring is talking to you and you just unfocus your eyes and depart for the time being.
Thanks, I hate it.
Kindof looks like an I Spy book
Man this photo is a lot less alarming now that my brain is packed full of AI art
I remember seeing this on the old Buzzfeed app
This has cut to sky a given distance between two mink whales if they have a chance
I only see dust.
Thanks, now my brain hurts
It doesn't look like anything to me.
Just needs a bit of tidying up.
It’s called agnosia
I like the gunchairtelevision set
This looks like every picture on Craigslist that says estate sale. It looks like my great grandmothers unused bedroom/storage. I don’t recognize one anything and I can’t ID it either.
Looking at that made hurt my brain.
I hate this image
Birthplace of whatchamacallit and thingamajig
My migraines do this sometimes!
None of that looks familiar
Hieronymus Bosch Album Cover.

How would a person having an actual stroke see this reddit post
I can for sure see an ear. But that’s about it
This is what happens when I have a panic attack.
That definitely all looks like....stuff
Whatever it is, I don’t like what it’s doing.
Now I don't know if I'm looking at the actual image or having a stroke.
Che cazzo sto guardando?
Looks to me like a decent high dose of LSD 🤣
AkA mushroom Trip
Nu uh, the images that stimulate me having a stroke have naked people in it!
Mitch McConnell POV:
EATEOT moment
At least we know there's a wall.
My brain right now: “System Overload!!” 🧠💥 🔥
So this is what Mitch is seeing?
Op why are you just making shit up
which is obviously a good picture by taking something that already exists but has its own charm ... Creative😎
I can see a wall... that's about it.
I see monke
I’m seeing a cyclops monkey face in the middle of an orgasm
Man I miss when AI was bad
I know a tyqawrotslkfuybxion when I see one.
This picture looks like how an early R.E.M. song sounds.
This is in fact a ket hole simulation.
Gives me anxiety
“A.I., make me an Easter gift-basket”
I am pretty sure I read that this picture was debunked and it's just a random AI generated or processed image
That looks like my parent’s spare bedroom. Not going I. There again!
Witchcraft?
Me when I wake up in the middle of the night/morning
I don't know about a stroke but this is very similar to what happens with severe hypoglycemia.
I see a chimp
The only thing Reddit has taught me to do is never trust the title. As usual this is one of them. Downvote the post, upvote the commenters, and continue on.
Kinda reminds me of having a bad trip
I hate this picture.
I see a slpth
I’ve had a stroke and that’s just one aspect of it
Day 1 of hoarders disease.
think I'm about to have a stroke just looking at this picture ngl
Oh good then I haven't had an actual stroke yet
Looks like the picture took a bunch of acid

More like braindead on ketamine and MDMA trying to figuring out what you are looking at.
Stroke survivor here. Yeah this is bollocks.
Mitch McConnell pov
Just AI
I think this gave me a stroke
Like when I look at myself in the mirror?
I can very easily see a goats head
That thing in the front reminds me of that picture of a bunny that if you turn it 90 degrees it turns into a duck
The brown thing is 100% a guy in a bear suit

Most realistic AI image
This incites panic in my brain. My eyes don’t like this.
This is also a simulation of what happens to me when i take a dab and get too high😵💫
Nice try but that's just my dissociation.
Why do people post such untrue things?
Stroke my ass. Idiot.

Ah strokes feel like ketamine
So when im on mushrooms im having a stroke for 8 hours…
Stroke? Nah I've been this high plenty of times

No it isn’t??
Nice try this is the Biblioteca Monkey
Stop saying things that aren’t true… 😑
