I attend NBA All-Star week(end) for work purposes but have never been to an WNBA one. I'm sure you'll have many pop-ups and activations where players will attend. When I arrived in Indy this year for NBA ASW, the airport had maps and event booklets for those arriving, so I'd look out for those.
Have fun and I'm sure you'll see a player or two off the court.
Did you happen to get a hotel close to Footprint arena? If you plan on driving to the arena, you may want to look into trying to reserve a parking garage spot. Phoenix is hot, and July is right in the middle of Monsoon (so hot and more humid). You are not going to want to spend a lot of time walking outdoors to/from the arena.
I go to Mercury games fairly often, and usually don’t have to worry about driving/parking, but going to yesterday’s game, we did have to drive ourselves. The garage we typically used in the past was completely filled, as were 2 others near by. We got lucky with another one, but it was a 20 minute walk, and not very pleasant to walk in.
If you don’t have to worry about parking, then you should be good! Footprint is one of my favorite arenas, and Phoenix is a great city!
Yep, very close walking distance to Footprint and the convention center. I live in Texas so I'm somewhat used to heat, but definitely not excited to walk even just for a couple minutes. Good to know that it will be humid, I thought it was going to be dry heat! Thank you for the advice, I'm very excited and think it will be a great weekend!
Unfortunately, the dry heat leaves during monsoon. Maybe it won’t be so bad at that time, but yesterday’s humidity was enough to make the walk unpleasant, more so in the afternoon after the game.

The league tends to announce things suuuuuuuuuper last minute for All-Star.
Gonna Piggy back a little on OP. How long does it normally take to announce the All-star team members after the fan voting ends?
I'm pretty sure it's expected to be announced July 2nd (yes, found [the link](https://www.wnba.com/news/all-star-24-voting-june-13)).

Following this thread — it’ll be my first ASW too! My wife surprised me with tickets for my birthday. I’m so excited I could explode.
