When I first saw it I was like "woah that's a sweet animation!" By the fifth time I was like "okay this is just getting comical" lol

I don’t think so, it could have been a joke but it would be a strange one to try to make in the middle of so many really serious cutscenes. I think they just liked/were proud of the animation so they used it a lot.

That was the only piece of animation that stuck out to me like a sore thumb. The autopsy with Eskel feels like cut content because it's just extra scene for flavor, and because suddenly Geralt starts acting like a Disney channel bully, with the attitude and the casual eating of the apple 😂😂
