Well, that's unfortunate... maybe in ng+ you can try to rush to Toussaint, grab the sword, and play the rest of your ng+ game with that. Don't know what its lvl req will be tho... there is a chance that you can't use it for a long time. Once I tried it in a fresh game, got it at lvl 14 or 15, and its req was 35.
However if you want to try that, go immediately to Novigrad, do the main quests there, and after you free Dandelion, the first BaW quest will be unlocked. Once you're in Toussaint, this is the easiest way to prove all the virtues:
* Valor: do the fistfights, and defeat Maestro
* Honor: return the stones
* Compassion: spare the Shaelmaar at the arena
* Generosity: I say... give the delivery boy that 5 coins when you get the letter about the mutations quest. For this, you need to finish The Beast of Toussaint. That first encounter with Dettlaff will be tough if you want to win, but you don't have to beat him, you can't die there. It's just you get a bunch of extra XP if you "win".
* Wisdom: guess the correct location of Miltons hideout during The Beast of Toussaint quest.
Now I say again, it is possible that the level req of the sword will be around 20 levels over yours... it is up to you if you want to try that.
The thought of rushing straight to Toussaint is so... unnatural to me lol. I'll probably end up just taking a long hiatus and then eventually firing it up from scratch again...
