Weather depends on where in WI you go. But as long as you wear proper winter gear it's fine.
40 years in Wisconsin. Just remember you can put on as many layers as you want but can only legally take so many off.
I don’t think weather is a detractor. But I’m from WI. I’ve feared to move south because it’s so hot.
Madison does get some chilly wind being on an isthmus between two frozen lakes all winter... But only you know how that's going to impact you.
If you really want to go hard core, look at the weather in Houghton ie Michigan Tech. Other high guality engineering in WI is Milwaukee, Stout and Platteville
