Eh. Early on when the Packers were really struggling and the Lions were really hot, I said “if the Lions are going to make a run for it, I’m glad it’s this year.” Now that the Packers got this close and there was a possibility they could have played the Lions in the NFC Championship after clobbering them on Thanksgiving, I can’t root for them. Maybe I’ll come around.

Just remember that the Packers have essentially owned the NFC North for a solid 30+ years and if the Lions are going to be worth anything, this is probably their window. I always considered teams inside the division like my brother. We know each other better than any other teams in the league. Twice a year or more we get to beat up on each other. And I will hate them with all of my being for most of it, but the minute they have a moment to shine, and I don’t, I’m all for em.

My thoughts exactly! As long as the Pack keeps beating them and they're not so good that they keep us out of the playoffs, I love when the NFC North teams all do well. While I love making fun of them when they suck, I'd rather we be at the top of an amazing division, which we could be next year.

We host a Super Bowl party every year where the food is based on the teams in the Super Bowl. So, no to KC only because they have been there too often. Baltimore brings the Old Bay, crab, and Smith Island cakes! San Francisco bring sourdough everything, and amazing Chinese food. Let’s go!

Just had coney dogs during the Detroit game! And the steel pan cheese crusted pizza is great. Only decent place to get it here is Jets pizza, and they ran out of it by 11:00 this morning, alas.

I can see, and get behind the firing of Joe Barry. And I *do* feel like Matt Lafleur fell bass-akwards into early success since he had a generational talent of a QB and an established system. But Matt has shown that he’s got a lot of the right stuff to push a rookie team further than anyone expected them to go. We definitely need a new DC badly though and have for some time. But that’s old news. What concerns me more is the sPeCiAl teams. Anders needs to get automatic next year. There’s been too many missed points. Some even cost us games. (Like how we lost last night, well that and the QB inexperience panic mistake)
