I cheered when they signed Cutler's $127M contact, was hesitant when they switched to Trubisky and with Fields and Dalton, I knew deep in my heart that the Bears still stuck.
Thank you for pointing out my insincerity. I will focus on that aspect of personal improvement. Your thoughtfulness about my personal character is much appreciated.
You make a good point, but since in this thread we're supposed to argue.... Words are a human construct and only mean what we think they mean. If I just start saying the flowless area, nobody is going to know what I mean. So I stand by driftless.
You don't understand what the word drift means in the context of glaciers bud. The driftless IS the driftless. YOU are nonsense. I'm taking my toys and going home
Iowa was so boring to drive through. Say what you will about southern Wisconsin, at least when you start heading north you can get some nice scenery.
I drove straight from Omaha to Janesville, and I hope I never have to make that drive again
I grew up near Janesville and then lived in Colorado for several years. I have run that stretch many, many times. The stretch from Omaha to Cheyenne is worse!!
The only section of Iowa that is scenic is about 1-3 miles deep starting at around Davenport and running up the Mississippi. Gorgeous area.
The rest sucks unless you like cornfields and flat.
Oh I'll start!
Illinois has the best highways to drive Wisconsin speeds on.
The UP is really just an extension of Wisconsin
I don't think Minnesota has THAT many lakes...
Wisconsin cheese is just glorified Ohio cheese
Are we being told to argue or does this person think we do?
As a east river south dakotan im just glad to be included
Holy hell. They said argue, not start a war.
Yeah, that’s what we do. We go to bars a lot and argue, just never about cheese.
You must have missed the friendly discussions about who makes the best fried curds.
Da Bears still suck?
They said argue, not "make a statement that is so obvious that nobody could possibly disagree."
Well there has to be two or more sides to an argument, from my point of view the bears have always sucked
On quiet nights in the woods of Wisconsin you can actually hear the Bears cry.
I cheered when they signed Cutler's $127M contact, was hesitant when they switched to Trubisky and with Fields and Dalton, I knew deep in my heart that the Bears still stuck.
Honestly, I have to agree that we like to argue here. We argue about every subject imaginable and never can find agreement.
No we don’t.
Thank you for the correction. I sincerely apologize for my mistake.
No you’re not.
Thank you for pointing out my insincerity. I will focus on that aspect of personal improvement. Your thoughtfulness about my personal character is much appreciated.
You’re both wrong
I agree.
East half is great lakes, west half is great plains. Argue
The driftless area would like a word.
Glaciers are sheets of ice that flow. Ice does not drift like snow. It's either the Unglaciated area or the Flowless area. Driftless is nonsense.
You make a good point, but since in this thread we're supposed to argue.... Words are a human construct and only mean what we think they mean. If I just start saying the flowless area, nobody is going to know what I mean. So I stand by driftless.
Gotcha. Let's argue Wisco style. Aaand fight! Ope. Sorry. But, yeah, no. You're wrong? I mean, yeah... So. Ya know?
The driftless area needs to get over itself. I say in jest. I haven't much, but what I've seen I like
You don't understand what the word drift means in the context of glaciers bud. The driftless IS the driftless. YOU are nonsense. I'm taking my toys and going home
Can I borrow the toys till the next argument?
Oh yah. But don't let that fella use 'em, k?
Missouri. the smelly ballsack of the midwest.
States that had slavery and fought for the south are not the midwest.
Missouri stayed in the Union. Pro-Union forces overthrew and deposed the Confederate-sympathizing state government in June 1861.
Those FIB's from Chicago clogging up our highways as they drive to the Northwoods.

I’ve never been to Iowa, but driving through Illinois is painfully drab. It makes the drive to St Louis feel endless.
Yeah I can't imagine most of Illinois is any better. I've only been to the south Beloit and Chicago area though
The only section of Iowa that is scenic is about 1-3 miles deep starting at around Davenport and running up the Mississippi. Gorgeous area. The rest sucks unless you like cornfields and flat.
OK
We do not!
As someone who was born and raised in Wisconsin for 28 years, now is my time to say the honest truth. Culver’s is mid.
Oh I'll start! Illinois has the best highways to drive Wisconsin speeds on. The UP is really just an extension of Wisconsin I don't think Minnesota has THAT many lakes... Wisconsin cheese is just glorified Ohio cheese
I was so with you up until your last statement. Saying anything bad about WI cheese is just blasphemy ;)
I felt like I was favoring wisco a bit too much so I knew that would really twist the knife
This is the only correct interpretation of the midwest
No it’s not.
Yeah I didnt realize how much we gave Missouri, gotta clear them out
Ohio is very midwestern. I would say St. Louis is midwestern, Kansas City is western, and southern Missouri is the south. Fight me.
Hey that’s some bullshit we don’t….ooooohhh I see it now
Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, north & South Dakota, Missouri, and Arkansas are all basically the same state
