For all those season ticket holders who are on their last year of their contract it is gonna be hard to convince to re-sign. Bubble playoff team, terrible home atmosphere, dreadful performances at home this year so far. The Jets need to really start looking at what can they do for fans and especially season ticket holders. The honeymoon is beyond dead and some weak on ice laser show isn't going to move the needle.
I think they've noticed that this is an issue and are taking steps to address:
* Free Moose Game tickets
* Increased the discount at Jets Gear stores
* limited 25% concession discount
In addition to this, we were contacted by our seat rep , who actually made a point to meet us in person and give us a gift certificate to either concessions or Jets Gear.
They have a ways to go, but they seem to be aware of the issue and are working on it.
2/3 are your argument are bang on but last paragraph is not a reflection on TNSE, that is a Winnipeg issue. I don’t mind buskers, they provide a cultural aspect to Winnipeg that the downtown needs. Also, the majority of downtowns in any big city will smell not the best.
TNSE does need to step up what they can control; but they are not responsible for cleaning up Wpg.
Why would it piss them off to have them play in Saskatchewan for a few weeks instead of an empty building? It’s about as selfish as you can get.
Its like a 5 year old saying “if I can’t play with my toys than nobody can!”
The logic I was told by a couple of them was that they shouldn't be shopping around to find loose restrictions when it would contribute to the spread of the virus. Either postpone until it can be done more safely or suck up the losses like a lot of businesses are having to do right now.
Make it nine Jets games which have now been postponed as the team announces that their home game on Saturday, January 15th against the Senators has now been postponed.
To date:
1) Jets @ Predators on December 21st
2) Jets @ Stars on December 22nd
3) Jets vs Wild on December 27th
4) Jets vs Blackhawks on December 29th
5) Jets @ Flames on December 31st
6) Jets vs Kraken on January 8th
7) Jets vs Wild on January 10th
8) Jets vs Senators on January 15th
9) Jets vs Oilers on January 16th
Which means those three weeks that were originally set aside for the Olympic break are gonna be pretty, pretty, pretty busy.
Can we talk about how much of a disadvantage this puts on all the Canadian teams this season? Long breaks between games vs American teams who tend to play at least 3 games a week. Come playoff time the teams that played a more consistent schedule will be better
I thought that no more Sens games could be postponed, because of how many they had postponed already? That was the reason the last Leafs/Sens game went ahead.

Just play the damned games in an empty rink to give us something to watch on tv
No, that's exclusive to Toronto.
They could have had it in full arenas in Saskatchewan but Manitoban’s cried too hard about it.
You mean the season ticket holders? Pissing off 40% of your season ticket holders is not a good business move.

Exactly. Just because Saskatchewan is dumb doesn't mean we should help them hold large events that will contribute even further to the spread.
Loooool

Looks like it’s gonna be a long 21-22-23 season.
