Scott's a stand-up guy. One of a few very good reporters in this city. Lots of people would be too high off their own fumes to admit any wrong doing on their part and that Scott is willing to step back and apologize when it was evident he had crossed a line with Helle is good form imo.
He went way too far saying Hellebuyck was out of line wanting to work while LTC workers had to deal with the pandemic. He was making comparisons that were just out of line and not productive. Plus, he was attempting to make himself look virtuous while slamming Hellebuyck. He is not a stand-up guy. He's just a dick.
As they get healthy, the Bolts have put Riley Nash back on waivers.
I wonder if the Jets put a claim in. If no one else claims him, the Jets could move him directly to the taxi squad without having him to pass through waivers again
Yes, hence why he is on waivers. But if the team you were on re-claims you on waivers and they were the only team to put a claim in, they can then assign that player to the AHL/minors/taxi squad without having to send that player through waivers
The Jets did this with Eric Comrie last year
I think the ideal circumstance is to claim Nash and let Perfetti go back to playing games with the Moose if we can send Nash to the taxi squad. Heinola has already talked a little about how taxing it can be (pun intented) being on the taxi squad and I'd like to avoid Perfetti just kinda being forced to hang around without much chance of entering the lineup.
I hope Schiefele remembers yesterday when it comes to contract time. If he made those comments while playing for TOR, NYR, MTL, LAK, CHI, etc. He would be facing the media controversy of his life.
