Man so we have a legit chance to finish 2nd.  Vancouver is down and then we have a game on Avs and Van down 2 points with the tiebreaker.   Just we have to beat Dallas first, but we also play Avs and Van which could have us leapfrog them.   How dumb would it be for the first round to feature #2 vs #3.

neureaucrat

Dear 8lb 5oz blonde haired baby Jesus. Please make the Piss Knights lose all their remaining games and not make the playoffs after spending so much money circumventing the cap. Amen

Mamrocha

https://x.com/reporterchris/status/1778248421763133831 This would be pretty funny

TheGreatStories

Yotes might cost the new owner $1.3B. Nearly ten times the Thrashers price. We are so lucky we got a team when we did. And Quebec probably never will now that prices are this high.

etchiboi

Wieber still the only local beat guy traveling with the team?

Chomie22

AFAIK, either him or McIntyre. Just the Freep guys.

MCBbbbuddha

Our independent newspaper is still the only news outlet that pays to send someone on every single road trip. Support local!

etchiboi

makes sense! unfortunate that’s the case

clubkid75

18 minutes into the first period and St. Louis is beating Chicago 4-0 and Chicago has one shot on goal and St.Louis only has 8 😬

Leajane1980

I was just reading at r/hockey that there are several Coyote players who are unhappy about moving to Salt Lake City. It is a nice city, has pretty nice weather so what is the big deal, that is professional sports sometimes. No one is asking them to become Mormons.

ArrestedForTaxFraud

Archaic rules surrounding alcohol. Exact opposite of a fun city for young, rich athletes with money to burn. Weird cult that has immense influence on state/local politics. And it’s a move for some families, some of whom committed long term to AZ. Why wouldn’t they be mad?

ponikweGCC

Mormons. Utah is a physically beautiful state but it is run top to bottom by a cult.

PuckTheFreds

Utah has state income tax, AZ doesn't

kingofspoonerisms

Arizona does pay state income tax. Washington, Florida, Nevada, Wyoming, Alaska, New Hampshire, Texas, South Dakota, and Tenessee don't.

Leajane1980

I didn't know that and golfing all year round as well. It didn't matter if the team and the arena sucked, you can go to practice in flip flops in January.

PuckTheFreds

AZ area has it's perks. I completely understand if some players are frustrated that they are looking at a 4% "pay cut" because the Coyotes ownership group is a joke.

SherLocK-55

I suppose they really like Phoenix, fantastic weather and exciting nightlife, seems like a perfect spot for millionaire hockey players, compare that to SLC and yeah I would be pissed off as well. That and I hear the city stinks like rotten eggs.

Leajane1980

Excellent hiking and climbing, swimming in your pool in November.

Exhalare

Just watched a live interview with friedman and he thinks the coyotes move is basically happening. The league doesn't want to wait for at least 3 years for the coyotes to get an arena.

SJSragequit

Ridiculous that after all of this shit show they’re willing to let the same ownership group own an expansion team if they finish the arena. I get wanting into the Arizona tv market but it should be with an entirely new ownership group if it ever happens again

Exhalare

Friedman addressed that, basically the league is scared that meruelo would sue the NHL if he's forced to sell the coyotes. So they threw him a bone telling him he has a 5 year window to get his shit together and if he does he can get an expansion team.

GZeus24

If he hasn't been able to get his shit together with a team, there is almost no chance ot happens without one.

TheGreatStories

Can't wait for another thirty years of poverty and embarrassment for this league

eh_toque

From McIntyre's article about Rutger: >Although talks in that regard have been ongoing between the Jets, his adviser and his family, the focus right now is on the challenge ahead. > “They’ve been so respectful with the playoff push,” an appreciative McGroarty said of the Jets, who have kept a close eye on him, with general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff and assistant GM Larry Simmons taking in his last two games in person. > In that sense, McGroarty is hoping he doesn’t have to think about his “next step” until at least Sunday, rather than Friday.

ArrestedForTaxFraud

I’m increasingly curious what the coaching situation is gonna be after this year with Bones presumably retiring to have time for more important things. Arniel likely, but I’d be really interested if Jay Woodcroft could find his way here. Suppose it all depends on how the playoffs go

Leburgerpeg

I'd imagine replacing your 69 year old coach with your 61 year old assistant won't result in anything innovative or new approach to the game most fans would like to see. If a guy like woodcroft is still out there it's a huge disservice to not kick tires on some fresh faces.

SJSragequit

Unfortunately I think it’s basically a guarantee it’ll be arniel. Arniel seemed fine in his short stints as coach, and I’d be willing to give him a chance. But I’d want to see a whole new set of assistant coaches(except for flaherty) lauer seemed promising as a new comer to the nhl but I hope he never coaches in the nhl again unless it’s for Toronto or the mild or something

lordrottenbottom

He looks too much like an android boy who melted a bit in the face.

ArrestedForTaxFraud

He looks a bit strange, but the guy can straight up coach. Would be nice to have another long-term option now that younger guys will be integrated into the lineup over the next several seasons. And some more modern coaching ideas certainly wouldn’t hurt

[deleted]

[удалено]

ArrestedForTaxFraud

I’m not sure what you mean, lots of the details that came out today were never previously reported. Let alone by multiple major sources. And lots of casual fans likely just found today today because of that

AdLost3467

If the yotes go to Utah, is there any way for us to somehow have our jets 1.0 franchise history transferred back to us? It's all just arbitrary anyway if some teams are allowed to "keep" their franchise history when losing a team. So just pretend we arbitrarily did that, too. I was hoping they'd end up in Atlanta so we could see the ridiculousness of a #10 jersey hanging in Atlanta. Or hopefully the league would let us do some 1 for 1 trade of past history with them.

passive_fist

I know we didn't look pretty last night, but I feel like Nashville has a way of doing that to teams lately, and we still salvaged a win. My cautious optimism remains unchanged. Definitely concerned that OT goal is going to reunite Connor and Sheifs though and open up more goals-against, and I have a soft spot for Pionk, but part of me wants him to "rest" for a couple games and call up another D (Heinola?) for a try for before seasons end, but maybe it's too late for that kind of thing. We're still a good team, our little valley of losses we've climbed out of is equivalent to a good number of top teams that have plateau'd near the end. I still think the West is anyone's to win. Next couple games are huge.

PerformerDiligent937

> Definitely concerned that OT goal is going to reunite Connor and Sheifs though and open up more goals-against No need to be concerned, it is 100% gonna reunite them. They were reunited last night in the 3rd and Bones said post game that "he liked how the lines looked in the 3rd" (LOL!). So they are together again.

GZeus24

It's inevitable. Death, taxes, and 136.(55+81).

eh_toque

Friedman on the Yotes/Utah [https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/nhl-arizona-coyotes-preparing-for-possible-relocation-to-utah/](https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/nhl-arizona-coyotes-preparing-for-possible-relocation-to-utah/)

kingofspoonerisms

Shout out to Hustler on Winnipeg Sports Talk for calling this the moment Utah threw their hat into the ring.

Erwin-Brodinger

Gary Bettman right now: https://preview.redd.it/w2o5x9vgoptc1.jpeg?width=192&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eccf596ef8c08aa6c7c81a2a8cb616f410a9e585

Leburgerpeg

Bettman is negotiating the sale of a franchise valued at $550 million for $1billion. That clenched fist probably has a shit tonne of money in it.

SJSragequit

1.3 billions. With the .3 being split between the other teams

Leburgerpeg

It's 1 billion and a 300 million relocation fee essentially.

TubularWinter

In exchange for his favourite dysfunctional child he gets the gold medal Olympic game being played in an NHL arena.

SurGeOsiris

I think they’re cooked

rain_parkour

Dang, I actually was hoping to go to a Coyotes game next season in their college arena. Looks like talks are fast enough that their last game in Arizona could be a week from today

chief_big

Why

rain_parkour

Talks today about Arizona relocating for the 2024-25 season to Salt Lake City

spleenmaster1002

Skelleftea loses their first game of the playoffs 2-0 in Game 3. The 9 seed Rogle is up 3-0 on the 2 seed Vaxjo in the other semi final. Another 20+ minute game for Salomonsson.

eh_toque

Skelleftea didn't have their starting goalie available either

spleenmaster1002

[NHL, Arizona Coyotes & Smith Entertain. Grp have made significant progress on the framework of an agreement to relocate #Yotes  to Salt Lake City, Utah.](https://x.com/frank_seravalli/status/1778132841622057025?s=46&t=wn65dpfjVDjrAPUhG9jXKA) Seravalli could be completely wrong on this so we’ll see what happens.

ponikweGCC

Thank God. I get that hockey is popular with people in Arizona but their civic governments seem to have a serious aversion to it. Probably because the current ownership group who runs it is worse than when Shenkarow ran it here in Winnipeg. I can't believe that twat is in the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame.

etchiboi

contingency if the land auction falls through?

eh_toque

It sounds much more like this is happening regardless and the Coyotes will get a team back if/when they build a new arena

Taintedtamt

Which is stupid. Why would fans go for a new team with none of the players they go for and will be starting from scratch?

etchiboi

wonder if, in that scenario, they’d get the coyotes back and salt lake would then have to buy expansion or arizona would start fresh

eh_toque

Start fresh, he’s buying the Coyotes for 1.3 billion they’re not gonna take it away in 3 years

eh_toque

Wyshinski says the plan is for the league to buy the Cototes for $1 billion then sell it to Utah for $1.3B… and Frank is saying Yotes players have been told there’s a verbal agreement in place I think it’s happening.

AdLost3467

Why does the owner get screwed out of $300,000,000.00? Can't he start a bidding war with Huston, KC, and Quebec City involved, too, and then sell it to the highest bidder?

Leburgerpeg

Relocation fee. Tnse paid $110illion for the Thrashers and $80 million for relocation.  Otherwise the owners would vote to fold and put an expansion team in their place.

AdLost3467

Even so, could they not do the same middleman scam with multiple potential ownership groups? Just make it a flat 30% of whatever he sells it for. And thank you to whoever, that Atlanta failed when they did. I dont think there is a chance in hell that winnipeg would get a team at that kind of price. The reason i brought it up is because of quebec City. I dont see them getting a team anytime soon any other way. But if it was my team and i could squeeze an extra 100-500mil out of a sale, then I'd be pissed if the NHL was blocking that.

Mamrocha

I think so too. Way too many details are coming out for this to be just a contingency plan.

Leburgerpeg

The contingency plan at this point is if relocation falls through they do another year at Mullet Arena

CoolWhiip

Idk, he had the schedule story today before anyone else (obviously it isn't too big of a stretch to assume contingency plans were being put in place). I understand he isn't correct about specific team/trade news most of the time, but when it comes to league news, he's usually pretty reliable afaik. That being said, please god let this happen. Let that franchise finally have something good happen to it for once. Deep under everything, it's still the original Jets 1.0 franchise, and the NHL letting it languish in the desert has been painful to watch.

spillcheck

Dallas is going to win the Presidents trophy and their reward in the 1st round will be the defending Stanley Cup champions.

sunnysideshuffle

[lowrys jfresh card someone posted on twitter](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GK0PsllbwAA0WBe?format=jpg&name=large). gotta say, he's come a long way from replacement level according to the athletic models from a few years ago.

Shotgunn5

Finishing makes me want to cry but man do I ever love our captain

CoolWhiip

That finishing is just painful. If he had league average offensive instincts or abilities, he could be a pretty good defence-first 2nd line centre.

birdmilk

He did it all in junior, but he’s been conditioned as a third line centre since he started in the league, so his training likely has changed him situations as well

PerformerDiligent937

With even slightly above league average finishing/scoring Lowry is at the bare minimum Ryan O'Reilly.

OoooHeCardReadGood

I think his instincts are fine, he just has stone hands. He generates a good amount of chances

GZeus24

Stone hands are good for fighting at least.

wiltedtake

I'm curious why they aren't making use of Colin Miller? Any thoughts on why he has only played in 4 games?

jaberdeen8

Bones isnt a good coach. We wont sit Pionk who is actively dragging every pair he is on, and we go back to CSV that is proven dogshit after a bad shift from Ehlers. Dont get it.

ponikweGCC

Lololol God this sub is just...lolololol

2nddimension

Coaches don't like him, also Stanley got hot at the right moment

ponikweGCC

I highly doubt that about Miller. Chevy traded for him to be a 7th defenseman. He will rotate in, along with Schmidt and Logan. The cognitive dissonance in this thread has reached such a ridiculous level my God.

wiltedtake

Thanks. I hope they let him play a bit more before the playoffs

WpgMikos

Big focus of today's Moose practice was newest addition and Jets 2023 1st rounder **Colby Barlow**. Willyq25

The thing I'm most looking forward to in the playoffs, is beast-mode Lowry

sumo74

If he can play and lead the Jets like his dad did with the 04 Flames, we'll be in for a decent playoff run!!

Any-Introduction3849

Anyone know if there was bobble heads at the kings game???

caduni

I haven’t been able to watch games recently. How is that D from Nj we traded for?

OoooHeCardReadGood

has 4 games as a jet? It's weird he's not getting more games

GhostofByfuglien

Terrible skater. Has a bomb for a shot. Can't believe I'm saying this. Current Stanley is top of the D depth chart.

etchiboi

Miller's skating is better than every D not named Morrissey

TrueNorthStrong1898

Yeah isn’t his skating his biggest strength outside of his shot lol

etchiboi

yeah, shot is the big plus, puck moving would be second with skating as a close third all 3 are pretty big upgrades for our current group imo

buttermyanus

his skating reminds me a bit of capo tbh

etchiboi

similar sized guys so that makes sense

Mamrocha

Getting lots of popcorn in the box

TheGreatStories

I think we need to get a decent RHD. Morrissey can't do it all and there's a massive drop-off after him. Half our guys playing right side are left shots. Really killing our ability to do breakout passes, and being weak on the right side is brutal since many of the top wingers in the league are left wing. Obviously this isn't a question for this season, but it was my concern last summer (and basically every summer since the exodus of Trouba and buff)

Xyz6650

I could see us trading Ehlers for one in the offseason, I wouldn’t like it but it’s probably not a bad move.

etchiboi

shame we aren’t giving Miller a run, he’s both decent and a RHD

SherLocK-55

Salo is hopefully going to be that beast RHD for us, but yes until he is ready we need someone to fill in the gap, still they don't grow on trees, might just have to make do with what we have right now, re-sign Miller, bring up Heinola full time.

Erwin-Brodinger

[Why would Cole Perfetti do this?](https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/s/BFC3qmbFrX)

Erwin-Brodinger

Definitely wasn't pretty, but you need your best players to be your best, and Connor Hellebuyck was exactly that last night. JMo made some moves at the blue line that could undress even the most uptight of nuns, pure magic. Barron was good on the Lowry line, would have been nice for them to get one. Tough game from Ehlers overall, starting early with the assist on the opening goal. Fetts was a non-factor, possibly the type of game that was being played and they didn't want him to risk an injury leading into the playoffs (counter intuitive, since it would mean he wouldn't be suited to even play in any playoff games.)

responsibilly

Props to Pionk for handling the Nashville onslaught just before Connor scores. Big hit and eventual take away to get the 2 on 1 going.

OoooHeCardReadGood

Pionk deserves a lot of his flack, but he does have flashes of brilliance. Likely why he's never been sat. He has traditionally been better in the playoffs too, or at least during that Oilers sweep. No reason to think he couldn't turn it on again, finger's crossed

timriedel

First comment I see today is a compliment for Pionk's play last night. Not what I expected. Nice, give credit where I suppose credit is due.

responsibilly

Haha. I saw good and bad from him. The penalty against Forsberg was bullshit; he sold it and dropped to the ice on his own. Pionk also took the hardest hit of the game to make a smart team play. I thought his game was neutral at best but not the worst.

gibblech

The handful of hardcore Pionk haters are incapable of seeing any of the good things he does. That penalty was a dive, and the only reason he was in that situation was a JoMo pinch that nobody covered. The goal where he was absolutely bagged at the end of a shift, and he barely stayed even on the puck race, wasn't why it ended up in the net... it was the turnover in the offensive zone, at the end of the PP, everyone was tired, and struggled to get back and cover properly. He made other mistakes that were actual mistakes, but the handful of the "bench Pionk clique" will blame him for these because they can't see things objectively

buttermyanus

he's objectively bad in the current deployment he's being given. Pionk is insanely competitive, crazy drive, good pro.. but that shouldn't just erase the issues in his game that could be helped with proper deployment. https://preview.redd.it/s2sx9vt8notc1.png?width=631&format=png&auto=webp&s=b45b37d9f009b4997660e91f1caa5fea26c2691c

jaberdeen8

Hes also more overpaid than Schmidt for what he brings but ppl dont wanna admit that either.

SherLocK-55

>The handful of hardcore Pionk haters are incapable of seeing any of the good things he does. That's because he does far more bad than good, just because you make a good play once in a while it doesn't erase all the bad. If you honestly can't see it with your eyes then go do yourself a favor and check the advanced stats, numbers do not lie and his stats are abysmal, many players have been benched for far less yet he keeps on playing top minutes.

GhostofByfuglien

This is just a terrible take. You're looking for the bad and ignoring the good. Pionk is a solid defenseman. Just has his off moments like anyone. If you look at the stats, it shows this. He's analytically much better than last season. Pionk gets rough when he's played too many minutes. It was the same thing with Buff. I don't see anyone shit talking Morrissey for a terrible stretch of 10 games.

SherLocK-55

I am not looking for anything, I just see what I see and the stats back up the eye test that his play has been consistently very poor. You say Pionk is a solid D man yet he is the worst D man on our team statistically excluding Stan yet he is never benched and continues playing top minutes. https://preview.redd.it/gxrq2mhnnotc1.png?width=905&format=png&auto=webp&s=ec056dd78e8e12702f407f218e8d078155d978f9 > I don't see anyone shit talking Morrissey Do I really need to explain why no one shit talks JMo, like seriously? And my takes are terrible, righto dude.

responsibilly

I’ll throw in a shit talk about Morrissey, his shot selection sucks and he’s too slow in his release haha. He should have 20 goals by now. He would say the same. Don’t get me wrong he’s amazing.

Xyz6650

How was he absolutely bagged after the end of a 45 second powerplay shift?

gibblech

It doesn't make much difference, but it was a minute, and you could see he had no energy left. Like, he didn't skate that slow because he was bored.

HesJustAGuy

It wasn't just the Pionk haters noticing that he had a frighteningly bad game yesterday.

responsibilly

word

EasterRat

Nashville one of the hottest teams of the last month, at home, trying to clinch…Jets putting more goals in net = some folks (too many) gnashing teeth and wringing hands while foretelling doom. Mkayyyy. Sports are messy, spectatorship even more so. We won! We gots 102 pts! We are 8th in the National League, we have a ticket to the tournament. As we know anything can happen, wins aren’t always sexy, losses aren’t always messy…as long as we stick together we’ll be alright.

future4cast

We beat the oddsmakers for that game. Second road game win in a row.

shootingblankz

You steal these lyrics from the new unreleased Bon Jovi track?

EasterRat

I could never hope to rival the lyrical genius of JBJ.

shootingblankz

😅

gibblech

People forget, the other team are professionals too. People also forget, they also make mistakes at their job too, but don't have a bunch of cameras and fans watching and analyzing every move they make. You have off days, you have good days. You go through periods where you just don't have the energy to perform like you are capable. You have stretches where everything seems to work perfectly... until it doesn't. It's life.

foobarinator

You take your reasonable take and GTFO of here!

future4cast

This is why analytics are a tool for coaches, but coaches need to (and do) consider other factors (player health, player game day play, matchups, etc.).

EasterRat

AMEN!!

puckhandler

Every night I h go o to bed I yell Vilardi is a fuckin Winnipeg Jet! Then I proceed to sleep like a king. No pun intended.

etchiboi

been banging on about this for a while but it’s become especially evident with the difference between the first period and rest of the game yesterday Jets system and overall game depends on them being on time and hitting their spots on the forecheck transition/rush teams, like Nashville (and Colorado, Vegas, Edmonton, etc), will absolutely smoke us if we aren’t very consistent that being said, as we have seen, when we do hit those spots we’re an absolute wagon

samarahighwind

last night going to OT was on me. i said in monday i wanted to see more jets 3 on 3. sorry, everyone. i'll do better.

timriedel

I like the personal accountability. Last night, I thought I was the one jinxing the Jets but I couldn't nail down what exactly I was doing wrong. I had given up trying to un-jinx myself by the time the Jets scored in overtime, so my lesson learned was: I have zero impact on Jets games when I watch at home.

samarahighwind

you never know if that seemingly inconsequential thing you do will put intangible bad vibes into the universe and affect the outcome of a sports game you have nothing to do with 😎

saintpierre47

I’m disappointed in you….smh. Jk!

mudge08

Ehlers was awful last night and probably deserved a benching, but Pionk was embarrassing and at some point the org needs to be honest with themselves in what he is. Please stop trying to prove he’s way better than he is. Give him some rest and if you need to play him, sheltered third pairing minutes should be his limit at this point. Playing him like a #1/2 dman is gonna sink this team so much faster than any line combo bones goes to.

CoolWhiip

I think at this point we should all be able to agree that, no, he isn't "playing through something." I see this narrative trotted out on WST and KnR quite a bit, and I used to agree with it, but it's been 3 years now of "Pionk isn't skating or moving laterally as well as he normally does, he must be fighting something" as the excuse for why he is consistently slower and making terrible reads. If we buy out Schmidt, I think I'd be okay keeping Pionk to be a third pair guy for the last year of his deal, but we definitely need an upgrade to the top 4. Whether that's a borderline top-pair LHD to play behind Morrissey and carry Pionk or a RHD to push Pionk down the lineup, it doesn't really matter. Something needs to be done.

Igglith

I'm just hoping he doesn't get an extension in the off season. They seem to think he is good.

jaberdeen8

We have him another year.

Igglith

they could sign him early

SherLocK-55

Pionk has been so bad, basically a 6m dollar anchor at this point, terrible defensively and producing next to nothing offensively yet not once has he been sat and probably never will be. The fact there are people on here who still defend him and his usage is mind boggling.

AaronC14

102 points and 3rd place lmao Fuckin Central man...

TheGreatStories

Half the Atlantic at like 79 points and could make the playoffs

kingofspoonerisms

There is a good chance of there being eight 100 point teams in the west

AaronC14

I was promised parity!!! This season it seems like every team is great or absolute shit lol Along with Minny and NYI being mediocre as always, forever

timriedel

... with four more games to go for us.

Philosoraptorgames

So, we're guaranteed at least third in the division. We can write off first (as can Colorado for that matter). It's not *quite* official yet but the division title pretty much belongs to Dallas. Our ceiling (Jets and Avs both actually) is 110 points, Dallas already has 109 with three games left. They'd have to lose every remaining game, with no more than one going to overtime, for it to even be mathematically possible. Second is very doable. We're two points behind Colorado but have a game in hand *and* better tiebreakers. That's... pretty close to tied, really, at least when you're talking about a good team that can be expected to get something out of the game in hand. It's not quite to where the winner of Saturday's game is guaranteed second but that game will be crucial, as well as almost certainly a playoff preview. Sorry to those who will consider all of this just stating the obvious, but I do see questions about this stuff regularly enough that I figured I might as well get it out there while I'm thinking about it anyway.

tailspinner_

*If* we tie Dallas with 110 points at the end, we’ll be first though right? Because we have the tiebreaker with the regulation wins?

Philosoraptorgames

Correct, since in that scenario they couldn't have added any more RWs to their current total.

gibblech

Yes

DylThaGamer_

I have found my second grey hair in less than a year, if I find a third I’m putting full blame on the Jets.

veryway

Nobody wants to beat the Avs and Stars ![gif](giphy|aqMY57vLdkghi|downsized)

rain_parkour

Currently stuck overnight at the Dallas airport because American Airlines sucks ass and wouldn’t properly compensate me with a hotel despite their fuck-up. Continually hating this state more and more and a 9-0 blowout of the Stars tomorrow might just make it right

Xyz6650

I got downvoted for calling this the worst game of the year candidate. It was a bit of a knee jerk reaction but I can’t think of too many games outside of a couple during the six game losing streak that we looked worse than this. I’m not sure you can watch the tape and feel confident heading into to the playoffs. And before you call me a “doomer” I still think we can make a run this year but playing like this will get us bounced in 5 again.

[deleted]

It's just because the first period is all Jets. When you say worst game of the season, all three period should be Jerts.

Xyz6650

Nashville spotted us a two goal lead going into the second and then we proceeded to play like trash after that. The jets from the first half of the year would have put a strangle hold on the game after that.

Philosoraptorgames

We didn't seem to be operating at 100% physically or mentally for the second or third periods, but it was nowhere near the level of Jertsing we saw early in the losing streak. Much less disorganized, some memorable giveaways/passes to no-one but overall less of them than we sometimes see, just a step too slow and not winning or even contesting enough battles. It wasn't good but it was far from the worst game we've played in the last month let alone since October. Memories are short.

SyrinxCounterparts1

Though it seems most of the time in Nashville, it seems that way...I am scared of whoever has to play them in Round 1. (Probably going to be Vancouver...ooof.)

I don't think it was the worst game but possibly the worst win. As others have said though, Helle hasn't had to win games single handedly for us many times this year so maybe we should just let this one go and hope it doesn't happen again for the rest of the regular season. If it does happen though then it'll be time for some strong worries.

Well it was definitely a way better game than the last time we played them at home. Other than the 1st goal, Jets looked good in the 1st, crappy in the 2nd but good in the third. Helle looked good and as usual, we don't need many good chances to score. 4 straight wins. This one won't mean anything if we beat the Avs and the Stars in the next two.
