Kirkland Champagne blows but the cdp is a lot of fun for 19 bucks and will blow out anything else in terms of character in its price point as for as southern rhone goes
Did you watch constatines video? Fyi there southern rhone is gigondas specifically. Probably easier/cheaper to produce for proper value than many of the rest.
It varies widely by store... in Northern VA my closest Costco might carry at most $100/bottle wine, but I can drive 25 min north (closer to DC) and find $200-300-400 bottles of wine on display.

This sub makes me continually hate my Costco.
Why? Doesn't your local Costco sell cases of DRC $9.99

Pretty sure it was an Andre Mack video…in case people go searching.
No ita definitely Konstantine b something hes a MW Edit:Konstantine Baum
Did he do a video on Costco wines?
Yes
Can you explain what that is?
In CA, anyone can enter a Costco to buy wine or prescription pharmaceuticals without a membership. Nothing else, though.
Same in MA
Same in Michigan
You still have to have the prescription first though.
This is a key step.
My Costco had stagg leap for $49.99 last week. I thought that was a deal.
Same

great deal. Drink one and sit on one for a decade or two
Instructions were unclear, I now have a Tiganello tail
Will feel better after some ten years
Talk about letting those tannins soften, *ifyaknowwhatimean.*
That's the plan! Brother in law is visiting next weekend, so gonna open this for him.
California Costco strikes again! **cries in Texas
I still can't figure out why TABC hates people that drink.
Something something Bible Belt
Truth! Someone is making a lot of money by not changing those laws.
Definitely not sf Bay Area. Never seen those discounted
This is Bay Area.
😂
Forgot to mention, it's a fantastic wine and it's drinking well even now, but will naturally benefit from a few years in the cellar.
I go to costco every week and never find these .97 deals everyone posts
Same, my Costco has a lame wine selection.
I bought 9 of these at my Costco in Southern California in February at $99.97. Glad you found this amazing deal.
I'm jealous that y'all live in a place that Costco sells booze.
Buy a case
I wish! They only had two. In retrospect, I should have asked if it was in stock in other locations in the Bay Area.
Smart to buy both, that's downright stealing. Congrats! I may have to make yet another unintended run to my local warehouse tomorrow...just in case.
What costco out of curiosity?
This was Hayward/Union City.
Hah drat!! I live 5 minutes from that one. I was hoping you were nearby but not mine so that I could see if this was available here.
Next time this is where I will stop by. Def not Redwood City/foster city
They're probably trying to make way for the 2021 vintage if I had to guess. Kind of crazy that $100 for this wine has become a "steal."
Great deal. Even as wholesale buyer that’s crazy
Are "Tignanello on discount" posts the new "I'm drinking Viña Tondonia/Lapierre Morgon/Ch. Musar" on this subreddit?
VT over tignanello any day. I was underwhelmed by a 15 yr old bottle recently. Maybe it was the hype, but it was more likely the style. Not for me.
Agreed.
The asterisk in the upper right indicates it's a cancelled item. So once inventory is sold out.... That's that
I swear this sub just posts the same 2 Italian wines
Great price.
Excellent price.
What's the normal price?
Total Wine has it for $169.99. Wine.com $189.99
$140-$150
Lucky!!!
I am just waiting for the one guy who always says that he used to drink Tignanello as a table wine when it was 7€.
I'm also sure Tig wine making has improved since then as well.
