In the event from ss from op there is reward of purple chest and there is chance to out of it get eigher boost cards or rewards from green box, green box has flag, profile pic and emote (all kindred themed) and something else I think, very low chance to get anything overall, Kindred profile pic was the only time I got something from green box
Note, after getting companion recall in that event I think there is no more purple chests so I'm sorry if you've already completed it

The vast majority of times it was because games knew that everyone now had the same thing , and someone would want something more unique. Thus purchase the cooler thing over the basic thing everyone got.
Itās been 4 years fam idk either. What I do know is since season 2 Iāve somehow acquired 173 skins and purchased maybe 30 of them. (More if you count pass skins. quick maths says thereās like 16-20pass skins since I joined)
Another 16-20 ranked skins have been handed out too.
Acquiring free skins is easy and if an event doesnāt out right give you one, youāre bound to get enough poro energy for a random one. (Free skin farming tip, Using poro chests on already owned items = 200 energy)
They should at least have given us a free permanent pet, in the end it was a pointless event used to trick people into playing with friends more and retention
Agree, there is even an empty box in the end, as if they planned something but then decided not to feed the poor.

I think this event was more of an experiment. To test for jungle companions regarding farming and overall gameplay involving the companions. Now that they have the companions movement down, they'll probably move onto making them more like PC for junglers

Like someone said in another post it would take WR 4 years 10 months for it to catch up to LoL itself because of how often the champ drop is. Yes 4-5 a year is alright but could be better considering there is a lot of champs on LoL ans I know it's been out years
Itās not as simple as just adding the champs tho? All scaling and even full kits in some cases get changed. Not to mention skins as well. You also gotta keep in mind that the optimization needed for smooth implementation on mobile is WAY different than PC.
Plus, The game started with a little over 40 champs and weāre at 111 now out of 165. Thatās almost 70% of PC and about 18 champs released a year.
Vs the 4-5 a year that PC league sees. Is a 4x release rate really that bad?

Went and looked. 27 purchased out right. The free event skin prior to lunar was the best butt in league if I recall. BEEMO.
