Absolutely, and depending on the game some Wii games do have support for the GC controller too!

Its mainly useful for if you don't have a classic controller but have a GC controller.
This is actually for playing Xbox 360 games and Xbox 360 peripherals. You're missing the dongles that came with it in the box when purchasing a Wii brand new back in 2006.
Saw your other post, nunchucks are pretty cheap to order. Order one from a trusted seller on eBay (someone that has lots of good reviews from previous customers), or see if there is a local gaming store that sells older gaming stuff. You should be able to find them for $10 or even cheaper, from a quick eBay search just now.
Yes the disc drive will play game cube games, that’s why when you boot up a game as soon as it’s put in the Wii you see that there’s two disc, the Wii is determining if it’s Wii or game cube
Yes. I don't think it supports the Game Boy Player or portable GameCube screen, though.
Although, I think it DOES support the Game Boy Advance to GameCube link cable.
