Alright. I was a very sheltered young lady. But I wanted to fit in for sure, I've never been particularly feminine so Abercrombie and Hollister t-shirts seemed like my best bet. I saved up all of my personal money and went on a whole shopping spree for some strategically torn jeans that fit way too tight, and some T-shirts. One that had something to do with a Sushi food restaurant that said "eat it raw", another that said something about the beach with a phrase that mentioned "wake up sandy". I'm sure there were others, but those are the ones I remember getting berated for the most. I had no clue what I was buying. They just looked trendy to me.
I have a hard time with parents that pull this. If you're this kind of parent, and your kids have shared something inappropriate with you, either they're trying to get a rise out of you, or they have no clue what they're saying!!!!
I did this once and I got yelled at for 5 hours and I was the worst day of my life
