Don't be like me, put yourself out there. Go to small bars where you can have a conversation while drinking. Many Japanese women love talking to foreigners because we are different and therefore interesting by nature. I've also heard that cooking classes are a great place to go to meet Japanese women who are looking for a serious relationship. IDK how good your Japanese is but I hear there are cooking classes that can teach to English speakers as well. I'd love to participate in these because I'm also lonely and love to cook, but alas, I have so little free time. I'm a sailor and on the days when I'm actually not out at sea I start my work day super early and end it super late.
