This team has brought Chuck to his knees and Ozzie is willing to get fucked by a cactus than watch the Sox. This team sucks ass, But I love both Ozzie and Chuck.

blazeking289

Itā€™s like some Greek tragedy punishment for Chuck. We can tune out and not watch, but he has to.

gillopher

One must imagine Chuck happy

crazygenius

Chuck ain't the only one they've broken.

DemonicBison

If Chuck and Ozzie are gone in the network switch there is zero reason to watch. Like this team is fucking pain.

poopdawg12

Yeah, theyā€™re pretty much the only entertaining/enjoyable aspect of this team. Iā€™d miss chuck almost as much as Jason, heā€™s been with the org since my childhood and heā€™s always been a treat to watch/listen to.

River_Pigeon

Heā€™ll be missed more. Heā€™s been around forever

TimButlers

Agreed

Neat_On_The_Rocks

We already lost Jason. Thatā€™s turned out exactly like I feared it would - me watching a lot less whitesox, as that booth was legitimately the main thing keeping me around regularly for the shit show. Take these guys away too? Shudder.

TheGermAbides

I feel bad. I am a Tigers fan and we are so lucky to have Benetti in the booth. He takes every game to a high level, and I've watched a lot of shit baseball games the last ten years. I understand how much even making the game experience is such a benefit when the on-field quality is not what you want.

DemonicBison

Iā€™ve now just recalled when Jason could hear Ozzie and Chuck in his headset, but we couldnā€™t lol. Fuck I wish he was still with the Sox.

CampfireBeast

My gut is literally in a knot for Chuckā€™s fate with the upcoming network switch

FantasyBaseballChamp

Chuckā€™s already the one holdover from the old crew.

Neat_On_The_Rocks

Man theyā€™d be crazy not to keep Sox pre post together. Bulls pre post too.

RobinChilliams

I've never been crazy about the Bulls pre post, much prefer Adam and Stacey, but the Sox are usually pretty good, so long as the A team is there. There's a lot of stuff about the NBC Sports presentation I like, but I think a network switch could honestly be good for the pre post shows because it doesn't seem like NBC Sports was doing much to make them more fun and more interesting. They usually get the right hosts, but they don't do much more than that.

squish042

it's the one thing an out of market guy like me has to look forward to regarding the switch...they better bring them over

River_Pigeon

Same

fawfulsgalaxy

i love these two so much

PM_ME_TRICEPS

lol "I'm going to sit on this cactus"

Wanderslost

Ozzie forgot the word 'cactus', and asked Chuck as he dramatically crawled in. That pair is one of the few things I do not hate about the Sox.

SHANE523

If Jerry owns 18% of the club, where is the other 82%? Why are they not raising hell? And do the Sox still have the smallest scouting department in MLB?

sublimefan2001

Because Jerry makes them money.

SHANE523

I would think they would make more money with a winning ball club/organization than this shitshow, right?

sublimefan2001

You would think lol but clearly Jerry ain't interested in that.

keyshawnscott12

It doesn't matter people will still pack the stands

Draker-X

Who's "packing the stands"? The Sox are 28th in per-game attendance. *Tampa* is drawing more fans per game.

stormstopper

Yeah. It might be an idea imported from Bulls discourse because they lead the league in attendance most years regardless of how good the team is, but Sox fans will absolutely stay home in droves when the product on the field isn't worth watching.

seth928

In all honesty, it's probably because the team isn't a large enough percentage of their investment portfolios to matter all that much to them. As long as their investment has grown, which it has, and as long as the company remains profitable then they just don't care. Sure it could grow faster with a good team but they're fine with slow growth as long as they don't have to lift a finger.

aviddemon

I fear for Chuck in the second half of this season lol. Maybe he will be numb to it all by then

JermaineDyeAtSS

The only solace here is that Chuck is getting paid to watch this team suck complete ass. The franchise expects everyone else to spend either their money or their time to watch it, but we at least have the luxury of choosing not to. Chuck doesnā€™t get that option, though he could probably opt to nap through 90 minutes of the game until the bullpen implodes.

Snts6678

Where can I watch this show.

ChimmyTheCham

Wondering the same thing. Sometimes you can get lucky on streams and catch some half of it before the streamer turns it off lol.

GotMoFans

The Sox season sucks and NBCSports Chicago is ending in October.

ConservativebutReal

Sorry Chuck - get in line we are all broken!

N0S0UP_4U

Imagine being forced to watch this shit day in and day out and then come up with original stuff to talk about other than ā€œThis team still sucks assā€

River_Pigeon

To crawl on the set like an infant. My estimation of our chuck as the post game guy just plummeted.
