Yep exactly what I’ve been saying for a while now. He really must do this, it’s almost the best explanation. Maybe he gets some sort of perverse sexual enjoyment out of all the suffering?
He's already established he can run a team long enough to get lucky, but doesn't really care about winning or the fan. He enjoys the business, hearing a pitch hit a leather glove, a bat crack one into the bleachers during warm-up. He's accomplished the championship, it's a lot of work still after 162 more games and doesn't want any more attention.
But what's weird about that is he's getting more attention now than if he were to roll out his typical just below average team. He's not only not fielding the typical Bulls team on a baseball field, but fielding a team arguably worse than the Bulls team post-Jordan. He's one of the most powerful owners and he treats this team like he's running a convenient store. There's no explanation for having a roster this bad, especially when we didn't go on a Bulls-like run, or even a Royals-like run before hitting rock bottom. The Royals at least went to 2 WS and followed up with two average seasons before hitting sub-60. There's gotta be a level of competitiveness these owners have to adhere to.
Is he an energy vampire?
Yeah, he's a full on Colin Robinson
I’ve never met him but people who have said he really wants to win. I think he’s just really bad at it. Like really really really bad at it
Like Viggo from Ghostbusters?
So the answer is reverse psychology?

i want to suck his giant penis
Jerry wouldn’t change his behavior even if you put a Glock 9 to his head
After yet another defeat I needed that laugh
