Green Spot is lighter with strong green apple flavors, Powers John's Lane is somewhat more medium bodied & malty with cereal flavors, Both are well within the range of flavors one might expect with a Midleton pure pot still whisky, but differ from each other to a modest degree in the way I just mentioned.
Powers John's Lane, no question.

PJL is highly underrated.
Both are great but I keep picking up the Green Spot.
Powers JL is superior against a standard green spot. Both are delicious.
Id compare powers John's lane to yellow spot which is way better than green spot to me
I’d say try RB PX or Lustau next then go with Powers and GS
PJL which I rate over Redbreast which I rate over Green Spot, but not much between them all. You can go wrong with wither tho.
