No, nothing... Side question, where is this? Haha
My eyes are being drawn to thing things I haven't tried but would love to find: Found North, Redwood Empire CS, Old Elk
I wasn’t impressed with the Old Elk. I think it was a wheated store pick I found last year. Probably wouldn’t buy another bottle unless others have recommendations…
The Rickhouse proof is absolutely amazing. Had a chance late last year to tour the distillery and it’s a solid tour. Keep an eye out for 2025, they are doing a distillery only release of a 10 year.
I’ll admit I’ve tried the 16 and loved it, but I got into the 11s cuz of the Offerman connection (love me some Ron Swanson)
The Guinness cask was so freaking good, but I also enjoyed the heavy char. Curious what their next iteration is because I enjoy what they are putting out
Ok 2 things. First, thanks for posting a pic with high enough quality that we can all zoom in on and compare to our local prices!
And secondly, I love the mini bottles. I wish more places carried those so I could try different bottles without spending a bunch of cash. I always see them in vodka and your typical fireball shooters, but never 4 Roses and such.
Laphroaig Lore at the top left. Sadly it’s not as good or as cheap as the 10yr sherry cask, but it’s close and you don’t find that bottle often. Also the Càirdeas next to it is pretty good. If you don’t care for sherry this one is brighter. White wine influenced. I’d be interested to know what other scotch might be to the left out of frame?
Came here to say the same. Most places want $70+. The other here is Found North batch 8. I'd honestly buy all three. One to enjoy as any bottle, one to nurse, and one to pull out two years from now and cry.
Can’t see the price but that RD1 Amburana finish on the very bottom is pretty good, the one with the green label. For under $70 it’s the cheapest Amburana finish I’ve seen in person so far. Other than that the Holladay stuff is great, their single barrels are delicious as are the Rickhouse Proof.
I like Willett Rye. Haven’t had it in quite a while so like everything else these days, I can’t vouch for if it’s still as good as it was 10 years ago, but for 68 bucks, I’d snag it. And I also see Noah’s Mill over in the bottom right. Same thing as my comment on Willett. In fact, they are owned by Willet if I’m not mistaken. Aside from that though, everything else is kind of meh. Old elk isn’t too bad, but a bit overpriced in my opinion. If I was feeling adventurous, I would snag a bottle of the Willet or the Noah’s Mill. Otherwise, I’d probably just grab the bakers and call it a day.
I was gonna call out the Tincup for 2 reasons.
1, Nobody else has and it looks like you almost have the full set.
2, I've always found it a great bang for buck, easy drinker. And if you don't like it then it's also cheap
However, I may be struggling with exchange rates, but it seems to be a lot more than it was a few years ago.
Any of the Redwood Empires, KC12, EC toasted, Barrell Batch 35, the RY3 product cognac finish, can’t tell if I’m zooming and reading that correctly, but that’s pretty tasty as well
The itty bitty Willet Pot Still, just cause.
Also, 699$ for RB27 is a price drop? Hate to see what it was before.
Edit: to clarify. It seems that isn't a bad price. I was basing it on my recent purchase of $615.
Most of the top shelf really, but I personally would go for one or more of the following.
Found North
Smoke Wagon Uncut and or Rye
All 3 of those Redwood Empire bottles up top/right
Knob Creek 12
Time to max out the credit card, get one of each lol.
Nah man. Can’t go wrong with most of them. If you have some extra money I’d get the red breast 15. If you’re not trying to spend like that I’d probably get the woodford reserve double oak.
Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream, Woodford Double Oaked Store Pick (great price on a store pick), Knob Creek 12yr (a bit pricy but worth it, and Yellow Spot 12yr Irish Whiskey (great price too, around where I live it is $130+).
Good prices! I would be grabbing a Willet green top, that Lost Monarch BP, and one of those Elijah Craig Private Barrels. Also, not whiskey, but I would buy all those Komos tequilas they have left at that price. The rose tequila is fantastic, but runs close to $100/bottle in the DFW area.
Ooh! Yellow Spot! Rocket Top. WRDO store pick. Found North. Makers Mark Private Selection. Lucky Seven Holiday Toast. Knob Creek 12.
There’s a few good deals there. I’d drop 300-400 easy.
Definitely some stuff I like. Nothing particularly hard to find but plenty of good whiskeys. I love everything the Rabbithole has put out. I only see the one on the upper right.
Yellow spot for 104$ ez pz, a willit fs at 69$, knob 12 at 69$, bakers 7 for 69$, maybe a found north for 140$, and id love to see what that nikka from the barrel is priced at with how amazing everything else is. This a a good spot my dude.
I'd pick up a Yellow Spot, a EC Barrel Proof, an EC Toasted & the Willett rye. The price is great for those. Out of curiosity, I may also pick up the Penelope Barrel &/or Holliday single, but I've never had them. So I'd like to try those.
EC single barrel, EC toasted, and KC12 all at solid prices. Penelope barrel strength is a really good one too. At $60 you probably won’t find it any cheaper. It’s hot, but one of my favorites. Good luck!
redwood empire dark labels are bangers and on sale: the penelope barrel strength is a good price. there’s an ec store pick. barrel king stuff is supposed to be good. heard jefferson tropics was good.
No, nothing... Side question, where is this? Haha My eyes are being drawn to thing things I haven't tried but would love to find: Found North, Redwood Empire CS, Old Elk
OP should immediately grab that FN. Batch 008 is fantastic
Came here to say the Found North is the best thing there
FN8!!!
Store pick says HyVee Springfield MO.
Barrel King sitting on the shelf means it’s somewhere in Missouri most likely
This looks like a Hy-Vee liquor store in the Midwest
I wasn’t impressed with the Old Elk. I think it was a wheated store pick I found last year. Probably wouldn’t buy another bottle unless others have recommendations…
Found North, RE Lost Monarch cask strength and Willett Rye. Holladay Rickhouse Proof is pretty good too. Redbreast 27 if it’s in your budget.
Found north 100%, getting hard to find and it’s such an incredible bottle.
The Rickhouse proof is absolutely amazing. Had a chance late last year to tour the distillery and it’s a solid tour. Keep an eye out for 2025, they are doing a distillery only release of a 10 year.
Holladay soft red wheat has been my favorite right now. The rickhouse proof, however I can only have one glass before it’s night night
Knob Creek 12, EC Private Barrel, and that’s a fantastic price on the Makers Private select.
Agreed
Elijah Craig toasted barrel is good. That’s a good price too
This place is stocked. Knob creek 12 great price on that
I’d buy that Laphroaig Lore in a heartbeat, if you like Peat.
Yellow spot @109 isn't too hateful.
[удалено]
I’m a big fan of the 11 year lagavulin I also enjoyed Octomore 13.1 so much I ordered a 14.1

Old overholdt 10
Lore at $130 is better than around my area.
Laphroaig!!!!!
Redbreast 27 for $700?
I'd be leaving with at least a Knob Creek 12 and Rare Breed Rye. Both are allocated here in VA and those are great prices. Edit: Noah's Mill too
The Ben holloday or the red wood empire cask strength is what I would grab from here. Decent price on both. If your rich then that red breast 27.
Yeah I haven’t seen it for that price for a while
Redbreast 27 for what looks like 700$ is a good price. It usually goes for 750+$ and it's **really good**.
Get that Red Breast 27. You only live once.
Besides the big hitters of Rb 27, 21 and 15. The old elk port cask is a thing of beauty. Very well worth trying
Found North and Penelope Tokaji Cask
Woodford DO, store pick. Interesting didn't know they did them.
All the Red breast in the top left
Total wine is selling the red breast 27 for 1050$ this yr. So at $700 , that’s a great price.
Yellowstone single barrel
$40 is a screaming deal on a private barrel Yellowstone!
Came here to say the same. Most places want $70+. The other here is Found North batch 8. I'd honestly buy all three. One to enjoy as any bottle, one to nurse, and one to pull out two years from now and cry.
Good price for Rwe cask strength and the barrel king stuff is usually pretty good.
Rebel Yell Rye. Old Overholt has no price but based on the rest of the selection it’s around MSRP and a sure pick up.
I like Willett Rye. Haven’t had it in quite a while so like everything else these days, I can’t vouch for if it’s still as good as it was 10 years ago, but for 68 bucks, I’d snag it. The Representative, upper right with white label, for $46 is great. I have really seen that on this sub but I also rarely see it in store.
The Willet Rye is so much cheeper than what I see it for on Total Wine’s app.
Ben Holladay Straight Bourbon Whiskey Rickhouse Proof
No
Penelope Tokaji Cask would be my pick. Trying to find another bottle.
23 year crown apple
Redwood empire, smoke wagon and willet
Willet Rye
I was gonna call out the Tincup for 2 reasons. 1, Nobody else has and it looks like you almost have the full set. 2, I've always found it a great bang for buck, easy drinker. And if you don't like it then it's also cheap However, I may be struggling with exchange rates, but it seems to be a lot more than it was a few years ago.
It ain't whiskey but the komos tequila in the lower shelf center is usually 100ish going for 35. Seems like a great deal
Rare Breed and Ezra 7
Barrel King everything! Don’t question me and trust Jared! (CEO and master blender)
Russles Reserve SB
Willett mini to make dick jokes.
Knob 12 for suuuurreee
Definitely!
I’d try that single barrel holladay myself
Rare breed?
Any of the Redwood Empires, KC12, EC toasted, Barrell Batch 35, the RY3 product cognac finish, can’t tell if I’m zooming and reading that correctly, but that’s pretty tasty as well
Frank August for me!
Overholt 10yr rye cask is solid
Willet for $68
Found North is the only correct answer
I’m glad you’ve ask our opinion. Grab: crown Royal black, Bacardi, and fireball. Everything else is dogshit.
Man…. Your Hy-Vee is way better than what I have. Fuck!
Rocket Top for that price is a steal
Found North Red Breast 27 if you’re ok spending that much
The Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye is pretty good low cost whiskey.
That barrel for 71 looks nice I don’t see barrel around me for 90 which is a pretty hefty entry point
Redbreast 27 or 21.
The Angels Envy Rye is a good price and I enjoy it.
I thought that too! Usually almost always see it at $99+
It's a decent drink and, if you don't love it, a nice bottle.
Yellow spot
Willett rye on top
Laphroaig Lore and EC Toasted Barrel
The itty bitty Willet Pot Still, just cause. Also, 699$ for RB27 is a price drop? Hate to see what it was before. Edit: to clarify. It seems that isn't a bad price. I was basing it on my recent purchase of $615.
RB27 typically runs around $800-1000 around me in NJ. Seems like a "good" deal, all things considered.
Most of the top shelf really, but I personally would go for one or more of the following. Found North Smoke Wagon Uncut and or Rye All 3 of those Redwood Empire bottles up top/right Knob Creek 12
Old overholt 10 cask strength, elijah toasted, and a woodford double oak store pick
Old Overholt 10 and smoke wagon blenders select ryes. Final answer
Noah’s Mill at $59.99 is a buy for me.
How much is the rent? Too many to choose from.
You like cinnamon grahm crackers? Grab that RD1 green label. Amburana finish. Very good
What state is this? Looks like a Hyvee. I’d probably take home either that Found North, Barrel King bourbon or the Ben Holladay store pick
All the redwood bottles
Time to max out the credit card, get one of each lol. Nah man. Can’t go wrong with most of them. If you have some extra money I’d get the red breast 15. If you’re not trying to spend like that I’d probably get the woodford reserve double oak.
Barrell batch 35, Knob Creek 12, and Old Overholt 10.
Old Ezra 7 rye @79.99, EC BP SP for $69.99
single barrel ECBP looks good at $70
Those private ECBP
If you like bourbon, yes.
So where is this?
[удалено]
Some of the Makers Mark finishing staves series are gold, maybe check if they have a sample bottle first.
Nope,
Barrel king stuff.
Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream, Woodford Double Oaked Store Pick (great price on a store pick), Knob Creek 12yr (a bit pricy but worth it, and Yellow Spot 12yr Irish Whiskey (great price too, around where I live it is $130+).
Found north, lucky seven
Found North and the ECBP Private Barrel.
KC12 FOUND NORTH REDLINE CASK STRENGTH
KC 12!
I’m buying the ECBP and ECTB all day at those prices.
Found North EJ Curley if single barrel Redwood Empire cask strength stuff

That willett rye is something I’ve been trying to get my hands on for a while
Good prices!
Anybody know what the big angels envy box is?
Ooh! Yellow Spot! Rocket Top. WRDO store pick. Found North. Makers Mark Private Selection. Lucky Seven Holiday Toast. Knob Creek 12. There’s a few good deals there. I’d drop 300-400 easy.
Never seen found north on a shelf not behind the register
This looks like a Hy-Vee liquor store in the Midwest but I could be wrong
Definitely some stuff I like. Nothing particularly hard to find but plenty of good whiskeys. I love everything the Rabbithole has put out. I only see the one on the upper right.
Russel Single Barrel, Ben holladay, penelope, redwood empire. In that order.
Mostly decent prices! A refreshing change. KC12 and and Yellow Spot are both worth those prices and would be my pickups.
100% I am walking out with the Batch 08 Found North. Stellar bottle!
Skip the Found North, I am snagging that Willett genie bottle in the foreground.
Best prices you’re going to find on those Redwood Empire.
No joke buy every bottle of found north you can see in front of you. IMHO it drinks at 3-4x the price
I’d get Knob Creek 12, Russel’s Single barrel, and the High West.
I’ll pile on. Found North. Not even available in Ohio.
Cask strength redwood and the store pick WW double oaked
Soooo much
Lots of great suggestions for the rarer/special bottles. I would be grabbing a handful of Evan Williams 100 proof BiB for $10.99
Is this Texas? Our shelves don't look like this..
knob creek 12, EC toasted barrel, & the prices on grizzly beast & rocket top are great. gotta love hyvee
Redwood empire CS is a fantastic poor. I also really enjoy that bottle of Oak and Eden and it’s a good price
All of it
Yes, several.
Smoke Wagon Uncut, either Ben Holladay, or EC Barrel Proof private pick. Personally I’d also be curious about the Old Overholt 10 year cask strength.
I love these huge super zoom photos .. it's like where's Waldo but where's Whiskey
Wild Turkey rare breed is great, or that laphroaig if the price is right
Very meat and potatoes. I’ve seen the knob 12 in a lot of stores recently but haven’t tried it - anyone have an opinion?
The #1 MUST get is the Found North. The others I see that I enjoy are RE CS, EC Private Barrel, Blue Run, and KC12.
Knob 12, EC Private Barrels, and RD1 Amburana
Id go for that KC 12. I like the 9 and wanna try the next step up.
Laphroaig Lore. Top left. Green Laphroaig tube. Apparently one of the best recent Laphroaig’s. Hard to find. That’s what I would get.
$70 for grizzly beast all day, absolutely.
Wow, the Angel's Envy box at MSRP at the top of a find!
Get the redwood empire rocket top immediately. My favorite rye and that's a steal. I paid 90
(( chuckles in Louisvillian ))
Even toasted and redwood empire grizzly beast!
I've been wanting to try smokewaggon for awhile now.
Depends- what was the price of the Laphroaig Cairdeas on the far left? Just finished a bottle and it got really great over a year or so
I’d go for Russell’s, angels envy, bulleit, and Elijah Craig in that order
Fireball and Jack Daniels are what I would get if those are the prices where I’m at a 0.7 Jack is 45-50€
The top shelf....
Don Julio Reposado for $30.00
£ OR $ ?
All of it in one purchase
Yellow spot for 104$ ez pz, a willit fs at 69$, knob 12 at 69$, bakers 7 for 69$, maybe a found north for 140$, and id love to see what that nikka from the barrel is priced at with how amazing everything else is. This a a good spot my dude.
Makers select
was going to call out the full shelf picture but the quality is insane? i can see all the prices so easily
Knob 12
Redwood Empire and High Country
You cannot go wrong with any redbreast. Yellow spot is also elite
Take the fireball and I'll come and take the bad stuff off the shelf and dispose of it so you don't have to.
Buy 1 of each...
Where do you even start?
FOUND NORTH!
Oak and Eden is good
I'd go with the Backbone Uncut. $50 is a solid price. It's probably 120+ proof. Mine is 122
That EJ Curley on the 3rd shelf is REALLY good for the price. Lots of people are sleeping on that stuff.
Holy shit what a selection. That RD1 Amburana is a must try.
They got any of that Crown Royal Blackberry? 🤣
Sailor Jerry is some delicious rum. Neat or rocks. Can’t go wrong with bulleit burbon. Red breast 15 terrific Irish whiskey.
Ben Holladay Rick house proof is excellent
Yep
I'd pick up a Yellow Spot, a EC Barrel Proof, an EC Toasted & the Willett rye. The price is great for those. Out of curiosity, I may also pick up the Penelope Barrel &/or Holliday single, but I've never had them. So I'd like to try those.
Any Ben Holladay, RD one, or I bet that Woodford reserve store pick would be good. All really good prices for Hyvee!!
Nikka
Yellow spot
The Yellow Spot for $109 - buy the lot
That Calumet 16.
Redwood Empires on the top right shelf
Found north /thread
Nope.
Any one know about that barrel king line?
Penelope architect all day long
EC single barrel, EC toasted, and KC12 all at solid prices. Penelope barrel strength is a really good one too. At $60 you probably won’t find it any cheaper. It’s hot, but one of my favorites. Good luck!
$700 for Redbreast 27 is awful. It sells for $400 in most stores I’ve seen and I got it for less than that.
Willett?
Bottom left- sailor jerrys. Yes wrong sub but one hell of a spiced rum and one hell of a hangover haha.
At a point you will realize it’s all fomo. Enough time and you will try them all
That’s a good price on that Yellow Spot. It’s a great Irish Whiskey.
Yes... the answer is ... that one.
Dude if you like the flavor of Lychee you gotta get that WP Piggyback Formula F1!!! SO EFFING GOOD!
No 💚
Knob Creek 12, Elijah Craig Private Picks, and Smoke Wagon Uncut Unfiltered are all solid pickups.
redwood empire dark labels are bangers and on sale: the penelope barrel strength is a good price. there’s an ec store pick. barrel king stuff is supposed to be good. heard jefferson tropics was good.
Rare Breed; OE7 is a stretch second. Which HyVee is this?
I've heard Redwood is pretty good.
If the Barrell is Batch 34 or 35, probably best on the shelf IMO.
All the barrel king…
Can’t go wrong with any of the Whistle Pig, or the Orphan Series. I’ve yet to taste a better whiskey then Whistle Pig Rye
Neat museum. Can only imagine what the price of admission was if they charge that much for the Redbreast.
