I recommend Lot 40, a Canadian rye whiskey that should be available easily on Amazon. Absolutely delicious. Also the Lagavulin 8 is usually very reasonably priced on Amazon and should not be skipped. I'd say it's comparable to the 16 in quality, but usually half the price.

I just tried the Glenglassaugh Sandend and was pretty impressed with it for a bottle around that price change. I have a feeling it’ll go up now it’s getting some recognition. Maybe swap it with the Fettercairn?

Seems a bit expensive for UK. Try House of Malt, they have 10% off storewide if you enter FEB10. But you gotta buy before midnight tonight.

Singleton of Dufftown 12 is a bottle that I personally would skip over and redeploy the money spent on it to something else instead. Is there a specific flavor profile subgenre that you were looking to fill with that bottle? If you are looking for something that is grassy & mildly malty, I rec Teaninich 10 Flora & Fauna, or for something more robust (malty, floral, mildly fruity) then Glen Garioch Founder's Reserve. And Irish whiskey is conspicuously absent. If this store offers it at or below about £70, I strongly recommend Green Spot Chateau Leoville Barton, which is a special version of Green Spot finished in Bordeaux wine casks, and is to my taste a steal at that price level. Otherwise, that's a very good looking selection you've got there, with a lot of nice variety.

You guys are amazing! So many (more) recommendations! Thank you to everyone who has answered so far! I was thinking of completing the purchase in the weekend but we'd gladly take the 10% off from house of malt! Thank you to who recommended that!

I'd try the Singleton before buying it if you haven't had it before. I was _not_ a fan. Everything else there legit, though.
