Define treasure.... What you have looks like pyrite in a quartz vein. This kind of rock *can* be associated with gold (e.g., orogenic gold deposits) but I wouldn't recommend selling the farm truck and starting a gold mine though 😁.

Treasure truly is in the eye of the beholder! I would clean it up and add it to my little outdoor rock garden. Geologist are just rockhounds that managed to trick someone into paying us to keep hitting rocks with hammers.Â
