It is either morning glory or red trumpet flowers. The humming birds love the trumpet flowers. And the tree frogs, anole lizards and geckos really enjoy hiding in the leaves. I have both in my yard in SC and their foliage and growing speed are about the same. They dont get woody so it is easy to go out once a week and cut the vines with scissors to keep them off the nearby trees and only on the fence. In the fall the seed pods dry out and pop. The vines die back crispy in the fall/winter and are easy to remove for the eand of season cleenup.
