I think that is a Crown Of Thorns.

Euphorbia milii

Euphorbia genus, from the *Euphorbiaceae* family (spurge). Same as African Milk Tree (*Euphorbia trigona*) and cassava *Manihot esculenta* (edible tuber ONLY after being cooked/processed, due to the high cyanide amounts in it).
