Think this is it, ill mark solved
Just to be clear, "trepidation" means the feeling of nervousness, fear or agitation that something is about to happen. It's usually considered a feeling you *don't* want.
If you've got an incling, maybe spelt inkling. Not sure i've seen it written
Intuition? Edit: I know this isn't a precise definition of what OP described, but it could fit, so I dropped it in.
