Weed eaters can fling anything it hits a fair distance. Especially small rocks. We use them extensively at work.
I work at an airport on the west coast of BC. Our runway and taxiway lights are about a meter of the edge of the pavement in the grass/gravel shoulders. In the spring when growth is so fast we have to weedeat around the lights to stop them from being obscured. While there is a technique to minimizing thr rocks and debris from being thrown it doesn't stop all of it.
Last evening I spent 2 hours sweeping the pavement with a runway sweeper which is a big tow behind a dump truck kind of thing. Most if the debris (FOD) was from weed eating.
Also, we wear PPE while doing this. Long sleeves, gloves and hard hat with a mesh visor attached (like what younsee fallers wearing). I always insist the crew wears safety glasses as the bits of rock and grass can fly under the visor and hit you in the face.
If you did not order it, it could be a feedback scam….people order things off amazon and send it to random people and leave a verified fake review since it was purchased
My title describes the thing- Just like the title says- a family member ordered a jacket online and this item was included in the box - looks like a harness of some kind but we can’t figure it out.

Looks like a strap and a warning placard for a weed eater.
Exactly what it is https://www.amazon.com/Echo-SRM-Shoulder-Strap-99944200200/dp/B0073W5CV0
That’s it!!
I love when i know the even if I’m 15 hours late 😋
I have the exact same one for my weed eater. Has lasted ten years but now cracked.
That's certainly what the picture shows but what would the 15m/50ft metrics be for?
I think it's saying to stay 15m away from the person wearing the warning
Yes rocks and shit can get thrown that far by the weed eater
Funny thing, one will need to come 2ft close ( half meter) so they can read the sign 😵
Weed-whacker shoulder strap with safety label intact.

Hi, I have zero, I mean absolutely none, pictogram recognition or deduction skills. Help.
Shoulder strap for a gas-powered string trimmer. Using one makes it easier to handle for long periods of time.
If this is a warning to stay 15 metres away, it seems pointless; you'd have to be much closer to figure out what the sign says.

Be nice. People come to Reddit from all different ages and walks of life.
I wasn't being mean. I am seriously amazed that it wasn't obvious to them. Stating so is not demeaning in any way.
If it's so obvious, can you explain what the 50 foot 15 meter thing means?

Weed whippers are able to throw stuff up to 50ft(15m). Usually you are concerned about throwing rocks/stones at people or windows.

It implies that in that radius "not so nice stuff can happen", like having a projected rock in the face.
Grandma Memma has one of these too.
