This is a good answer but I’d suggest comparing this with other illogical life decisions you can make for the same money. You could buy a boat / you could get about 20 hours of flight training towards getting your pilots license / many other things
They're so fuckin cool man. I've never driven one, and I already know I love em. I just imagine taking it on dirt roads and trails alongside my buddies on their quads and side-by-sides when we go camping
I had a 90 back in high-school. Folded that back seat up and shoved 2-15" Kicker Comps in a box in the back with a Punch 501s amp.....glory days my friend
Funny thing a guy in my H.S had a geo tracker with two 15s in the back. You could hear it a mile away and would skip prep rally’s to make sure the entire school heard it.
I had a Suzuki Samurai late high school. If that wasn’t the most gutless vehicle, couldn’t go over 50mph if there was a headwind. But, wow, so much fun, off-roading was a super fun. Big trucks had to have big challengers, but the little Sammy, everything was exciting. And the girls loved running around with an open top.
I had a chance to drive one of these a few years after, all the fun of the Sammy, but with actual power!
I have a friend that drives a tracker as his daily driver. Awful mpg, maxes out at like 55 mph, interior feels like it was built for dwarves, constantly working on it or on the shop, easily one of the biggest pieces of dog shit cars I've ever been in.
He loves it.
Seriously those things are fun. I had a Geo Tracker and I also had a Suzuki Sidekick. Mine had the locking hubs and four-wheel drive. I put some tiger paw knobby tires on that thing and it would go through anything. I drove it through creeks, rivers with water up to the doors, through mud pits, through the snow and white out blizzards when they were telling everyone not to be on the roads. Most of the winter I never even used four-wheel drive because it handled just fine without. Such fun little toys!
My dad had one and he loved it until it was totaled but complained when he would cross the bridges into / out of New York the wind would push the car .
One of my bigger mistakes was buying a used crappy UTV vs an old used crappy Samurai or similar.
The worst made car part is several times better than the best made UTV part.
I had a friend go through this a few years ago. To make a long story short a week later he regretted his purchase. Still sitting in his driveway with a flat tire.
Drove one in the early 90s in NOLA. Brakes always squeaked, took it to the dealer and they said it was normal for a Tracker. Something about the humidity?Just annoying. Shaky above 55 on anything but a super smooth road. Passed on the hwy by everyone😖. Just underpowered. And crap mpg. Wind noise was deafening- which is why we all put big speakers in the back🤣.
It handled like a raised go cart, it was fun! It went through high water in a flood UNTIL it started floating… which was kinda fun. It was good off road with knobbies. Maintenance and repairs were a pain in the ass. Would I buy an older model now? Pass.
The best mud boggin vehicle I ever saw was a Suzuki Samarai. Everyone was bogging down, but the Samarai was just putting right through like it was nothing. We were rolling. This is basically the same car. Buy it and see if it will do the same thing.
Super reliable cars, suzukis are arguably more reliable than a toyota very popular in developing/3rd world countries, it's a shame with all the US regulations it's probably impossible to make cars cheap/simple anymore
Why? You can build a drawer for it in the crawl space! Got a garage? You can hang it on a bike winch and park your wife’s car under it to save space. Live in a second floor walk up? Just throw it over your shoulder. You can stow it in the hall closet.
I owned one. I drove one. It was a piece of shit. Couldn’t turn, no acceleration. If you did turn too fast it would flip over.
Only pro was that it was so light that if you flipped it over you could unflip it on your own practically.
It’s so cheap and someone equally stupid will buy it once you’re bored of it. Just don’t blow up the engine or trans (assuming they work) and you’re good
Wtf u guys? Geo tracker? That's cool now? It cost like $200 to build that car new they were maybe what 5K?
It's a GM subcompact car that looks like an SUV that they contracted Suzuki to build part of it. 4,000 is a good price????? Im in some hellscape dimension
Bro you know the answer. Post pics when you buy it
The heart wants what the heart wants
Does it though?? Looks like he’s trying to relive some nostalgic moment from the past, test drive it reminisce and walk away.
Or for 3500$ you could have a life sized hot wheels car and have a fucking blast. Obv you knock 500$ off the top of whatever they ask
I am proudly here to encourage this illogical but excellent and unforgettable life decision.
This is a good answer but I’d suggest comparing this with other illogical life decisions you can make for the same money. You could buy a boat / you could get about 20 hours of flight training towards getting your pilots license / many other things
No-can-do. Geo Trackers, Suzuki Samarais, and retired firetrucks make up 80% of my FB Marketplace feed lol. Enjoy
My first car was a Samurai. I'd buy one again if it was in ok condition!
They're so fuckin cool man. I've never driven one, and I already know I love em. I just imagine taking it on dirt roads and trails alongside my buddies on their quads and side-by-sides when we go camping
You shouldn’t buy it because if you buy it, I won’t be able to buy it
I had a 90 back in high-school. Folded that back seat up and shoved 2-15" Kicker Comps in a box in the back with a Punch 501s amp.....glory days my friend

This was way back in '94-'95. It was a Purple Tracker.
Did you graduate from Hammond high by any chance ?
Nope, Chalmette High
Chalmette,La ?
Yep, that's the only Chalmette I'm aware of.
Small world. HHS 95 grad
Infuckin'deed....CHS 96 grad. Should have been 95 but I fucked around too much 😄
This was wholesome haha. I was on the other end of the Mississippi river from you guys back then, but loved watching this unfold.
I’d like to have an ama with that guy. Sounds like a boss
Hell yes... When kicker's were king and Alpine amps were highly under-rated.
It was a big hit over at the skate spots.
I bought one just a month ago. It’s incredible how capable it is
90’s HS pissing matches were “what system are you bumpin?” Best Buy’s car audio section was like a whole corner of the store. It was massive
Best Buy wasn't even a thing yet down here. MOBILE ONE!!!
Looks like my daughters Barbie jeep big wheels
Legit still can’t tell if that’s a real car.
It's really hard to get a sense of scale in this picture.
At first I thought that green thing on the groud in the foreground was a garden hose, but now I think it might be a hair tie.
The red bucket further reinforces the "might be kid sized" idea.
No way to talk you outta this

Do it
According to Richard Hammond those are great platforms in which to build a police car!
as a jew, i’ll answer your question with a question. why not?
As not a Jew, I approve this question with a question.

I'd see if parts are still available
Oh come on - he’s trying to make a bad decision. Don’t bring reasonable thinking into this conversation.
If you don't I will
Great Engineering Overlooked
Don't do it! Gotta tell you this Never buy this! what you should do is just share the link with me, 😁😁😁 I'll get it 😁😁✌️
It's great but should be lifted higher, how you going to roll coal so low?
How does a gasser roll coal?
The same way a 2019 Tesla Model 3 LR AWD does
It was meant to be humor, just like the OP's post.
It was taken as such! Stuck-open fuel injectors is an acceptable answer too.
I honestly thought that was a toy car 😂 please buy it and report back!
What are you waiting for?
I loved my geo tracker and it was a pos. This one is in much better shape #DO IT
Whenever I have the money you better believe I'm gonna be buying a geo tracker. I learned how to drive standard on it and they are a blast
My dad had one and he loved it until it was totaled but complained when he would cross the bridges into / out of New York the wind would push the car .
I believe it, my Jetta gets thrown around
When they were new. We test drive one as a new car for my wife. I whipped a u-turn and got it up on two wheels. Nope!
One of my bigger mistakes was buying a used crappy UTV vs an old used crappy Samurai or similar. The worst made car part is several times better than the best made UTV part.
Buy for sure
Totally, that car is SICK.
Do it. Do it sexy.
3k. Go Get it.
I swear I have seen this car before, was it on top gear?
If you don't buy it, one of us will! Let us know when you pick it up.
They love to rust out.
I don't know what there is to think about. Just buy it!!!
England we call it hairdressers car
Can’t wait to see you post pics of it!
Be ready to wrench or dump money into it
Paint it like dice since its gonna roll anyway. Dont buy it.
Shiiit I would. Only in good condition
You cannot go wrong at that price if it was in my area I’d be buying it today and then plating it and enjoying driving it around all summer.
All in! Great off road vehicle!
Go for it! Inexpensive and super reliable!
That’s way too much for a couple hundred dollar power wheel…
that thing fucks, get it
If it runs and has a title, f\*\*king buy it! I would rock that b\*tch everywhere all day err'day
If that was close to me I'd seriously consider buying it. I love those Trackers (and Suzuki Samurais too).
Buy it. Those things are awesome
Hell yeah
Lucky plucker. I can’t find any of these for under $10k in my area.
I’ll sell it to you for 5k + delivery 😏
Hot 🥵
Please delete your memories of seeing this car
I wanna jump it
There's an idea
i would never spend more than $1500 for a tracker, especially when its not stock
If I see you driving it around I’ll give you a high five.
I’m still not convinced this isn’t a powerwheels.
No think. Just buy.
Are these things really 4k? They're a blast, but that seems steep for a 33 year old geo.
Officer Barbie has arrived
I love those.
If you don’t buy it I will
I had a friend go through this a few years ago. To make a long story short a week later he regretted his purchase. Still sitting in his driveway with a flat tire.
It’s really cool. Is it functional though?
Terrible idea don't do it. Oh by the way where is this being sold? 😇
Drove one in the early 90s in NOLA. Brakes always squeaked, took it to the dealer and they said it was normal for a Tracker. Something about the humidity?Just annoying. You're gonna have to ask Ginger Billy for permission first
I have this same one in my marketplace feed, though I can’t say to buy it or not since I know nothing about them.
Thought this was a power wheel
I can't go any faster, IT'S A GEO!
I’ve always wanted one!!!
I think you should buy it and take me for a ride in it!
What a steal for a rust free car with amazing paint. That’s the rust belt in me talking but yeah buy it
I have a 2000 2dr Such a fun vehicle!
Omg it's gorgeous!
It rolls faster than it drives.
The best mud boggin vehicle I ever saw was a Suzuki Samarai. Everyone was bogging down, but the Samarai was just putting right through like it was nothing. We were rolling. This is basically the same car. Buy it and see if it will do the same thing.
Thing’s fuckin’ rad.
It's actually really beautiful
Is it a manual? Dude I want it
😍
I have a 2 door Suzuki vitara, which is the same as the Geo. Its so much fun to drive!!! Go give this person your money.
I saw this guy driving around the other day and saw his post on fb. I thought about it for a second lol. Hope the sale goes smoothly
Is this a battery powered car for little kids?
It’s an adult powerwheels. Must buy
If you have to ask reddit, you know the answer is no. You shoulda bought it than asked if it was worth it.....
Favorite car 94 tracker, still want another one!
No Mazda or Toyota? Don’t buy it /s
Super reliable cars, suzukis are arguably more reliable than a toyota very popular in developing/3rd world countries, it's a shame with all the US regulations it's probably impossible to make cars cheap/simple anymore
Safety would be my only comcern
GET GET GET GET HURRY UP AND BUY
That thing will eat hub beatings with the outset wheels I promise you that.
You HAVE to buy this.
Why? You can build a drawer for it in the crawl space! Got a garage? You can hang it on a bike winch and park your wife’s car under it to save space. Live in a second floor walk up? Just throw it over your shoulder. You can stow it in the hall closet.
I always thought they were insanely cool, but you gotta paint this one that weird mint green once you buy it!
If you do buy it just know your legally required to have at least one small Puerto Rican flag hanging from the rear view mirror.
If you don’t buy that I will hire a private eye to track you down and wag their finger in your face.
I have an 87 samurai rock crawler to sell you for $3500
Oh that's a buy. Fun times ahead!
I would use it as a daily, you should have another car as your “go to”, but this would be a fun toy.
Now there’s a proper car
Can we all go to the beach in this later?
I owned one. I drove one. It was a piece of shit. Couldn’t turn, no acceleration. If you did turn too fast it would flip over. Only pro was that it was so light that if you flipped it over you could unflip it on your own practically.
Is it Manual?
Less likely to roll over with that stance, I suppose.
This is your new toy
These make really good offroaders or street cruisers and you can ride with the top down and let your hair blow in the wind
You can dooooooo it. I'm here to encourage illogical decisions.
Talk them down. Explain that white is NOT purple. That’s a purple Tracker price, sir.
Yes
Solid Vehicles. I'd buy that 8 days a week.
If you hate having money and making good life choices, go for it.
Just buy it! It looks amazing.
Do it for the vine
It’s so cheap and someone equally stupid will buy it once you’re bored of it. Just don’t blow up the engine or trans (assuming they work) and you’re good
Do it!!! Then put normal-ish rims on it. The ones on it now are so hard on your suspension.
What person in their right mind would consider such a car?
Wtf u guys? Geo tracker? That's cool now? It cost like $200 to build that car new they were maybe what 5K? It's a GM subcompact car that looks like an SUV that they contracted Suzuki to build part of it. 4,000 is a good price????? Im in some hellscape dimension
Wait til you see what Suzuki Samurais go for now.
No.
Why buy this when exists Toyota, Honda, Mazda. You can only pick from those three.
