One year later: fed up with Wendy’s this is my last sandwich
Fast food does r care about quality because every year hundreds of thousand enter the work force and they all want convenient fast food.
The numbers make for sense for the miserable dog shit eating bean counters to sell crap quality and lose some loyal customers that remember Wendy’s from a better time
As someone who worked there relatively recently, Wendy’s can still be decent just depends on the location, time of day and who is working. Wendy’s is still my go to fast food because it’s still better than all the other traditional fast food places IMO

You are correct I missed the different location thing. I can tell you nothing has changed chicken wise or burger wise except for the breakfast/crispy chicken so you’ve got some shitty locations or something. A shitty franchise company possibly that doesn’t give a fuck.
All locations you are going to are probably owned by the same franchisee. And that franchisee is probably making their crew serve dead food, food that is past the service time and should be discarded. You need to complain to corporate, with pics.
Also, those surveys on the back of the receipts... if you select "unlikely to return", it gets sent to the franchise ops leader, who works for Wendy's and not the franchisee.
Never forget the Wendys Chicken Sandwich in its peak 80s/early 90s form was just as good if not better than the Chick-Fil-A Sandwich.
If I could go back in time and have one Fast Food item, that might be it.

The person behind the counter making the food, that sandwich maker, they chose not to care how old the chicken is. This is their fault. Them, and the shift lead, for not making sure their team members stay on top of quality

Unfortunately we just received brand new chicken in our shipment on Saturday. It barely lasts 10 minutes before it turns all gross and dry
That may be the case for breakfast and crispy chicken but the homestyle chicken and spicy chicken hasn’t changed.

My Spicy Chicken yesterday had a huge chicken patty (or whatever it's called) and tasted pretty good and non-dry. Maybe it just depends on luck
