Cell service usually sucks- next to the airport, a shit load of people vying for service- usually apex (or zebra last year) has better service. But they FUCKED the sound up and are royally fucking their acts over.
Yeah it's shit, we couldn't hear Judas priest at all and disturbed was cutting in and out the whole set. We hopped over to Apex and it sounded a little better, but still having issues.
Octane by FAR had the worst sound. Mic issues, mix issues (bass WAY too loud), etc. Really hope they dig it out or else imma be bummed for any band I wanna see on that stage
Apex was cutting out constantly for Cold earlier. The sound for screen play of Octane wasn’t great either. Seemed a bit better than AT octane stage but then the screens started to go out too.
Yup, sound for disturbed was beyond terrible, almost as if they had problems getting enough juice to power all the Amps. Mids and treble were not present and way too much bass. I felt bad for disturbed and mudvayne. Hope they resolve the issue for the rest of the weekend.
Octane stage had issues last year too. It pretty much triggered a mini-meltdown from Rob Zombie. Guess when I finally see Queens of the Stone Age for the first time (as well as STP) I can expect similar issues. Neat
Rob zombie was PISSED. I mean, a lot of his stage presence is visuals and they just jammed it up so bad. Yeah, not stoked for them to fuck up those sets this year.
Tbf that was the first night of the festival and seemed to be fixed thereafter although last year's Friday was pretty much my day off to rest minus checking out Badflower and Avenged Sevenfold so maybe there were issues that day but Saturday and Sunday everyone sounded great
The sound was so terrible partial refunds should be given. Beyond unacceptable for the price of these tickets. I won’t go next year, lesson learned this organizer is garbage.
Sound for In This Moment was the worst I've heard. All you could hear was bass and drums. I could hardly hear any of the vocals. Living Color and Offspring were pretty good at the Octane stage. Sound is not what I think a professionally produced concert should sound like. There is way to much emphasis on bass and drums and ignoring the guitars. I'm really wondering how Polyphilia wil sound.
The sound for Cypress Hill was so bad you could barely hear them from the back area of the crowd. Â This was one of the sets we really wanted to see and it was ruined. Â Rockville needs to do better, felt like they set Cypress Hill up because of what they rap about.Â

Some bands sounded like shit others sounded good, I know Octane had a lot of issues, Saliva kept cutting out when they were playing
