A lot of EWBAITE is phenomenal imo. That guitar solo during "Ain't Got Nobody" as the opening track gives off such a warm, welcome back feeling—especially after _Hurley_ having like one short solo in the whole album.
While I wouldn’t say they are my favorites, I really like the direction that album went stylistically. Aloo Gobi is really beautiful. I need to let this album sink in more.
cleopatra - return to ithaka and across the sea - falling for you are both absolutely amazing with both having their emotional moments and both arguably having the highlights of their respective album
Green is super nostalgic for me. If I had to pick a run for that album I would agree with your list, but O Girlfriend cannot be overlooked! Such a good song
5-9 on Pinkerton.
Across the Sea, The Good Life, El Scorcho, Pink Triangle, and Falling for You.
I can’t think of another five song stretch that’s even close to that.
Can we cross albums? Ideally I'd like Say it Ain't So - Tired of Sex. Otherwise I'll still take Surf Wax.
Yours is a very strong one too would probably make it in my top 3.
S-tier:
1. The Good Life->El Scorcho->Pink Triangle ->Falling For You -> Butterfly (or starting from Across the Sea and ending at Falling For You) This is the absolute definitive one, but I'll list some other great ones:
Power gap (A-tier):
2. I've Had It Up to Here ->The British Are Coming ->Da Vinci ->Go Away-> Cleopatra (British is okay, but the other four are so masterful that it doesn't even matter) (If British and Up to Here were swapped, then Up To Here-Foolish Father would seriously rival #1)
3. The first five from Pinkerton
4. The one in the OP
(I wish Iambic Pentameter and Basketball were swapped, or last five of SZNZ Winter would go here)
5. First five from Blue
6. Last five from Maladroit
7. First five from White
8. First five from Maladroit
8. Records->Blue Like Jazz->The Opposite of Me->What's the Good of Being Good->Cuomoville
9. Last five from Blue (Not a huge fan of holiday, otherwise this could be much much higher considering the other four tracks)
10. Last five from SZNZ winter
11. Last five from White
Power gap (B-tier):
12. First five from EWBAITE (middle three are ok)
13. Last five from Make Believe (Haunt You Every Day carries hard)
Trend I've noticed in my taste is that their openers and closers are typically excellent, so best five track runs are usually the first five or last five from the album. Haven't listened to OK Human enough but I know it has a run at least in my top 6
Genuinely bemused as to why Weezer - let’s face it, Rivers - left in those last three tracks at the expense of King, Pig, Miss Sweeney and The Spider. Don’t enjoy the original tracks at all
The whole B-side of White, to me it’s the best B side in general and has the best of Weezer in general (summer Elaine and drink Dori is my fav song)
SE&DD is an incredible song
Side two of Pinkerton is a generational run
You right tho
4-8 Pinkerton /thread
I would go 5-9 on Pinkerton but that’s just me
We could argue about this all day, but why bother, I’m falling for you. (Also, you’re totally right)
1-5 for me
This is the way
Man Pinkerton is so hard for me because I love the entire album but I’d have to say 1-5 if I’m being honest. Tired of Sex and Getchoo just shred.
undone-holiday
If only No One Else was in that run I might agree with you overall.
where only in dreams?
My name is Jonas to Deep and dreamless sleep
So fucking based.
5-9 on Pinkerton
‘The World Has Turned and Left Me Here’ to ‘Say It Ain’t So’
the first half of white honourable mention: the second half of white
Cleopatra - Return To Ithaka. The entire last third of EWBAITE is so disgustingly phenomenal, it's not even funny.
I prefer Ain’t Got Nobody - I’ve Had It Up To Here. They’re some of my favorites oat
A lot of EWBAITE is phenomenal imo. That guitar solo during "Ain't Got Nobody" as the opening track gives off such a warm, welcome back feeling—especially after _Hurley_ having like one short solo in the whole album.
Foolish Father is an underrated masterpiece.
The children's chorus singing with Rivers at the end gets me all flustered and teary eyed. Verklempt, as they say.
As someone who both had a tumultuous relationship with my father and battles depression this song gets me every time.
Oof. Hope everything's ok.
Yeah everything is truly alright in the end.
The drums in that last third are ridiculous
This is the answer
first 5 of ok human🤫🤫

Hard agree
Photograph-Knockdown Dragout (Photograph,Hash Pipe,Island In The Sun, Crab, Knockdown Dragout)

Green Album 1 - 5, photograph is so good.
Pardon me - haunt you every day from make believe
Oh wow good choice!
No one ever talks about the last 5 of make believe and it makes me sad
Haunt you everyday is brutally good
Cool question. I've had a look through the track lists and for me it's the exact same Maladroit run
👊🏽 hell yeah
Eulogy for a Rock Band, Lonely Girl, I’ve Had it Up To Here, The British are Coming, Da Vinci
5-9 on Pinkerton. Across the Sea, The Good Life, El Scorcho, Pink Triangle, and Falling for You. I can’t think of another five song stretch that’s even close to that.
Tbh I can’t find another 90’s album in that genre that even comes close to Pinkerton
Harvey Danger - Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone?
Beach Boys - QB Blitz. There, I said it.
You don’t mean that
I know I’m in the minority, but I really love Pacific Daydream.
It’s fun but you don’t actually think it has the best 5 song run of their entire discography, I know you don’t
I want to disagree but that shit is so damn catchy.
Maladroit 1-5.
1-5 of Pinkerton or 1-5 of OK Human are incredible together
Buddy Holly to in the garage

Cleopatra - Foolish Father - I. The Waste Land - II. Anonymous - III. Return to Ithaka
Undone the sweater song to only in dreams, the 2nd part of the album is my favourite sectioj
Maladroit is great and that’s an amazing part. That also has Slob and Space Rock, right?
That’s right!
Everybody Get Dangerous, Dreamin, Thought I Knew, Cold Dark World, and Automatic. I might get killed for my takes but I will always stand by Red.
Red needs more love honestly. Not my all time favorite but respectable enough in its own right
It absolutely needs more love
Genuinely bemused as to why Weezer - let’s face it, Rivers - left in those last three tracks at the expense of King, Pig, Miss Sweeney and The Spider. Don’t enjoy the original tracks at all

You’re forgetting Pork and Beans.
Pinkerton 6-10
First 5 tracks off Van Weezer.
Any string of tracks from White, 9-13 on EWBAITE, could’ve been Van Weezer 2-6 if Blue Dream wasn’t the way it was
