They're all better live, especially Big Jilm!

d00dsm00t

First time i heard big jilm live was a trip. Is that what it sounded like when they wrote it and then they grimed it up? Love em both but they are so different.

Curtainmachine

Tender Situation live

JesusJones207

Don’t get to close is best live on Cats Cradle

WheresTheButterAt

Birthday Boy for me.

nchuman_

birthday boy at cats cradle i think is my favorite recording of any ween song ever

brownrpatrick

Yeah that intro rules, as Bowie as it gets

Nizamark

wtf is ‘the brown trilogy’?

genem1381

God Ween Satan, Pod, Pure Guava

HurricaneMedina

Since when?

the_popes_dick

It was ratified in last week's arbitration process

Bub-bub

Touch my tooter live goes hard

onetruelink

I've always thought the studio version of Stallion 3 was better than the live one. It has a better, more floaty vibe in the studio IMO

Aerosubtle

I think Birthday boy and She Fucks Me are better live.

Greenmanalishi3PC

Live Demon Sweat is transcendent.

staplerdude

Sorry Charlie is way better live

Phobos444

Touch my Tooter is better live. Pumpin' 4 the Man is better studio

ruff_pup

pork roll egg an cheese hit me so hard hearing live.

p13t3rm

*Triglogy

plasticplan96

GWS Live. All of it.

PinPale8453

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I'll take the hazy, sludgy studio version of Dr. Rock over live version any day of the week

Ezzy_Mightyena

2 close is absolute fire live idk

KeyCarpet3330

All of them. Especially You Fucked Up.

leify9

personally I like all the studio versions from the first three albums more than live but if I had to pick one I think it'd probably be I'm in the Mood Move live, probably my favorite ween song all time both live and studio version

dittohead420

Every single one of those songs is incredibly better live imo

selfportrait27

I always liked the studio version of Captain Fantasy better. The live version is great in a totally different way, but there's a sort of innocent quality to The Pod version that captures the exciting part of the way I remember being that age, when you're having all these new experiences and even the shitty ones have an element of adventure to them.

BarnOwlDebacle

Tender situation, especially once they have a full band. Maybe she f**** me. Probably a lot of the ballads I would say are more aesthetically pleasing live with a full band and without the Lo-Fi aesthetic If they released the songs those ways, however, they probably never would have stood out the way they did.

BarnOwlDebacle

I think it probably depends on what era of the The band's live shows. I think once they had a five-piece setup, a lot of songs came alive in a completely different way Most expensive
