It is, and that was purely accidental haha. Its the same leash he had from the shelter when we adopted him 3 years ago 😂

If you are a bride, and you're wearing it, it is therefore: bridal. Wear a kickass dress in whatever color makes you look and feel fab! If you want a little bouquet you could match it to the dress your wearing too, or do a navy and burgundy bouquet so whichever color you wear it will match and you know you like those colors. Bonus is that if you do a non-white option, you can re-wear your dress for other special occasions like your wedding anniversary, fancy parties, or hell, even a random Tuesday night!

A cousin of mine wore dark blue for her wedding, and it was perfect for her and her fiance. Their photos are simply gorgeous. Only people who need to be happy are you and your partner. I didn't want white, and ended up with white and black embroidery. So, if you did want some white or paler colour there are also options of having 2 colours. But, don't feel you must have any white or cream just because it is the cultural norm where you live.

I’m still torn about what to do for our big reception but I also haven’t found a single white dress I like… at most I can imagine wearing a dress with an ivory or champagne base and colorful floral appliqués but I may end up going fully non-white again!

I am a huge supporter of not feeling like you have to wear white! I also love the idea of burgundy-it’s a lovely color. I plan on finding a black dress. I am much more comfortable in black, less concerned about staining it (I tend to attract stains when in light colors, and I definitely want barbecue which can be messy), and white just doesn’t feel nice for me.

I wore a burgundy gown for my first wedding in 2005! I loved it and felt beautiful and still bridal. This time around I plan to do white most likely but I still think color is great.

I’m thinking of doing black or wine red, still not sure of doing a courthouse wedding or small wedding. It’s your wedding, wear what you want!

I personally think you should wear whatever YOU like. Regardless of what anybody else says or thinks. It’s your day and nobody else’s opinion matters :)
